Ellen Simon and Joey Lorino- Hear Center

I am so excited about this one! This is where I learned how to speak and listen! My story begins with the HEAR Center back in 1979!

Ellen became Executive Director in 2007 after 24 years serving as HEAR Center’s Pediatric Audiologist.  She holds a Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Michigan and has been an active member of Pasadena Rotary since 2008.  

During her tenure as Executive Director, HEAR Center has more than doubled our free or discounted community programs.  Committed to HEAR Center’s 60 year legacy of service to the community, Ellen continues to work collaboratively with HEAR Center’s Board of Directors to ensure we are here for another 60 years to serve all those who need us. Ellen also serves as a Supervising Audiologist for our Doctor of Audiology Externs.

Joey is a recent graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where he got his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was previously a long time volunteer of HEAR Center but joined as the Development/Marketing/PR Associate in August of 2016. 

With this role, he is in charge of social media, fundraising events, and other public relations jobs. The mission of HEAR Center means a lot to Joey, and he makes it his goal to help the company raise funds that will allow HEAR Center to continue to help those within the community.
