Shailan Ghassemi

Today I interview Shailan Ghassemi, originally from Iran, she's a student of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine at the college in Bedford, NS. After watching a few documentaries on netflix she began her journey into a vegan lifestyle, increasing her well-being and showing us it's possible to go through pregnancy and raise a child as a vegan. Her husband has also joined her in this amazing lifestyle which I interview in the following episode. Shailan is also an organizer for Anonymous for the Voiceless as she explains more at the end of the episode.
