To be honest, for a long time I had a gratitude practice where I’d quickly jot down 3 things I was grateful for every morning, but I didn’t feel like it made much of a difference in my life.

 

My gratitude practice didn’t have much of an impact because I didn’t understand the science of gratitude.  I didn’t know that I needed to embody gratitude for it to regulate my nervous system and rewire my brain.
