Episode description

How often do you find yourself worrying about things that you know you don’t need to be worried about?  Like strange things your rational mind knows are not likely to happen?

It can be easy to get caught up in the spiral of rumination, intrusive thoughts, and the doom of WebMD. But why?

In today’s episode, Michelle coaches on neuroception and how our life experiences deeply impact how our brain and body scan our environments for relevant signals of danger and threats.

As we grow in our awareness of why we find ourselves worrying, we can communicate to our bodies that we’re safe and help ease the hypervigilance.  As a result, we’ll find we’re better able to regulate our nervous systems and approach life from a place of calm and presence.
