Episode description

Hey,

when I hear someone shares that he/she is in a relationship for a longer period of time, I pause and start listening.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING is not easy.

In an age of tinder, continuously changing working environment and the illusion of 1000+ friends on ig/fb ⇝ a fulfilling,  authentic, committed long-term relationship is a  r a r e  breed.

I am in a relationship with my partner for around 8 years. We are lovers , partners, co-dog parents (yes, I had to mention this #doglife) and we work (both entrepreneurs) and travel together. So believe me, when I say I have the uttermost respect for relationships, I mean it.

I am always there to listen, to observe and tune in into the learnings and revelations of others in this sacred bond.

I believe, relationships are:

▽ a strong essential human need we all have (and neglect)

▽ a underestimated powerful tool for personal growth and emotional maturity

▽ and that we don't learn actively how to nourish, invest and evolve a relationship naturally.

Not in school. Not at university. Not at work and not on social media.

So in this episode, I want to share with you some of my profound insights that I gained (...and continue to re-learn over and over again) in my relationship. And no matter if you are in a romantic relationship yourself in the moment, I believe this can be applied to our private as well as our work life. Where ever you have people, you have relationships.

e n j o y

Love,
Alisa
