[SPEAKER_04]: His dad's on record saying he didn't really know anything about his son leading up to this event like he kind of lost contact.

[SPEAKER_04]: So it just it starts out with like he actually goes into tens like a different rally at the same same spot, a butler farm showgrounds. [SPEAKER_04]: a rather angelic third.

[SPEAKER_04]: He searches for, they have all its internet history and they use using VPNs and by they've now, it's all kind of public. [SPEAKER_04]: He searches for when Trump's going to be close. [SPEAKER_04]: He figures it out. [SPEAKER_04]: Then he visits, oh sorry, I took out the backwards. [SPEAKER_04]: Then he visits the same, the, the Butler Farm Show, which is going to be the same spot that this rally is going to be attended or this rally is going to be put on.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's examining the photos. [SPEAKER_04]: July 12th, he goes to the Clareton Sportsman Club Rifle Range, so it's 50 miles south of Butler, kind of like a final practice session he got. [SPEAKER_04]: He got this rifle from his father, I guess, is AR-15 style rifle, and he's going to practice at the range. [SPEAKER_04]: And so July 3rd, or July 13th, was the day of the shooting.

[SPEAKER_04]: This is where like the, even originally when I was hearing the time, I was like, this makes no, how was this impossible? [SPEAKER_04]: He visits the site for the third time. [SPEAKER_04]: So I guess two times before he had gone there for different events and kind of been poking around. [SPEAKER_04]: He flies a fucking drone. [SPEAKER_04]: for like hours ahead of the event at 9 a.m. he goes into flies drone for like the entire length of the battery.

[SPEAKER_04]: So whatever, as 20 minutes, 30 minutes. [SPEAKER_04]: He maps the whole stage layout, sight lines, he returns home. [SPEAKER_04]: He comes back at 11 a.m. he spends an hour walking around the grounds. [SPEAKER_03]: He's like a rangefinder. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he spotted walking near the AGR building. [SPEAKER_04]: Like the rooftop where he's going to fire like a climb up and fire from. [SPEAKER_04]: He's later at 11 a.m. [SPEAKER_04]: At one PM, he goes home, gets his gun.

[SPEAKER_04]: He tells his father he's going to the range. [SPEAKER_03]: He buys 50 rounds of ammunition from a local gun store. [SPEAKER_03]: The fact that he's been there multiple times that day, it's like, one of those things were just like, fuck, I really hope somebody catches me and I don't have to do this. [SPEAKER_03]: And then he goes to do, you know, the biggest thing in his entire life, the thing he's been prepping for forever. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't even have a scope on his gun. [SPEAKER_04]: So this is when he, so early in the day, he does all this pre-planning. [SPEAKER_04]: He gets the gun later in the day. [SPEAKER_04]: He's spotted on the grounds again with a range [SPEAKER_04]: a local law enforcement sniper notices crooks not part of the secret services actual part of like the actual like pd of the area. [SPEAKER_04]: He says he's acting suspiciously on the suspiciously on the rap rally premiere perimeter looking as phone holding a range finder.
