Plus, Alaskans are readying for the 53rd running of the Iditarod, which will be celebrated Saturday in Anchorage with the ceremonial start before the official restart Monday in Fairbanks. And while it looks like the original iconic Burled Arch, finishing work is still being done on the new finishing arch before it heads to Nome just ahead of the mushers.
