Gregg Steele Heppner is a Rock Radio guy who began his career at KLYQ/Hamilton, Montana.  He was born and raised in the Midwest and spent most of his childhood in Montana.  Gregg’s Radio career path includes time spent in some of the country’s greatest cities in some of their greatest radio stations; KGB-FM/San Diego, KNAC/Los Angeles,  93X (KRXX AM & FM)/Minneapolis, and ZETA (WZTA-FM) Miami.

Later, Management came calling, and Gregg was elevated to Regional Programming Manager for Clear Channel Communications.  Sirius Satellite Radio also had their eyes on Gregg, where he eventually became VP/GM of Programming & Operations.

Add artist management to Gregg’s career file, including working as part of the management team for the Godfather of Soul, James Brown.  Gregg also has a theater background and has performed in movies and plays for years.  Now living in South Carolina, he has put together a new theater company, and also has led the charge in a theater’s reopening.

During the pandemic, Gregg has also penned a screenplay, which he plans to film soon. Gregg’s career and life experiences are numerous and shared with us on this episode of AIRCHECK.
