ATOOC: Lufthansa Hard Landing at LAX

In this episode, Lufthansa flight 456 is coming in for landing in Los Angeles (LAX), and touches down hard before going back around for another attempt.

The aircraft landed without incident on the second attempt.

Airline officials noted that the pilot was in training when the balked landing occurred.
