Most of us are experienced at pitching but overlook the simple pitching tasks we've taken part in throughout our lives.
If you really take the time to audit yourself, you'll find that through multiple stages of growing up you've been pitching. Think back to asking for extra dessert, getting onto the school council, telling your manager why you should be in the starting line up. A pitch is where you have an idea or concept you'd like to communicate in order to get the people listening to buy into you or your idea.
