Listen to Dr. Tom Roselle DC discuss organic and visceral causes of low back pain. There are many causes of low back pain, but lumbar spine pain can be categorized as organic pain. Organic pain can be caused by diseases, such as spinal cancer or aortic aneurism. Visceral pain is pain from an organ or internal pain that can radiate to the spine with conditions like pancreatitis, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease, gall stones, cancers, kidney pain, and urinary tract infection and other conditions.
