Let us be reminded that while finishing the race to always be on guard in regards to our power, position, pride, purse, passion and practices and not allow ourselves to go astray! Sermon by Rev. Daniel Ho, Founding Senior Pastor, DUMC
We’re so grateful for the word that was brought to us last weekend. Here’s a reminder to worship God not only with our singing, but with our being as act of worship in every action, every nation and every generation!
Worship is not a place where we get lost in the virtual world but it is when we direct all of our praises to Him who sits on the throne. It requires us to come with authenticity and the right spiritual posture when we approach the throne of God!
Everything we do serves as an act of worship unto Him. It may look different in different people. There is no true worship without relationship — so let us be reminded to worship with sincerity and heart!
What is worship? We’re going to kickstart our Worship Month by sharing to you what is actual worship!
God is not a God of exceptions and His kingdom principles will not change base on circumstance. Our response is to carry His principles into every area of our lives, without exception. Let us choose to ask instead, 'does this glorify God?'
Let us be reminded to constantly align our ways, attitudes, decisions and direction we take each day with the will of God. By doing so, it will lead us to finding our purpose and true meaning in life.
As the new decade begins, let us challenge ourselves to show up in our families, ministries, schools; for our people, friends and family.
As we step into the new year, let us challenge ourselves to commit time to pray for God’s church — trusting that He will lead us where He has planned for us to go in 2020!
Don't allow the Evil One to nurture our fear and turn it against ourselves. We can't hold on to both fear and life — there is a choice for us to make. Let us be reminded that we don't have to be afraid because we are His children and He is our God!
Dec 25 - The Gift ( Rev. Benjamin Yeoh )
True beauty has overcome the beast of this world, He is already being lifted up and drawing all men into Him. Let us be reminded this Christmas that the same Jesus that turned water into wine, darkness into light, death into life was and is still bringing hope to this world today, and one day all men shall see His glory.
15 Dec Go Small To Grow ( Rev. Benjamin Yeoh )
8 Dec Leave No One Behind ( Pastor Joshua Yong )
May this be a daily reminder to take off our masks; not be afraid to be vulnerable and let the right people sit at our tables to help us journey through this life.
We need the Holy Spirit to help us grow in love each day, to live a life that is pure and righteous towards becoming more Christlike; and to show that fruit of righteousness that is dwelling in us as a result of having a relationship with God
Nov 17 Wake Up Call ( Pastor Glenn Lim )
it is when we make the choice to die to ourselves and live the life that He has called us to, there will we experience the fullness of life in abundance. Do not be afraid to step into the life He has planned for you!
Nov 3 - Lives that make a difference 2nd service ( Rev. Ross Paterson)
Nov 3 - Lives that make a difference 1st service ( Rev. Ross Paterson)
It is solely by the grace of God that we are who we are today. A reminder that everyone is wired up differently, and we are called to exercise the gifts that we are given with love.
God is always on the move, and often times it would require of us to leave behind what was before in order to recognise His move. May you be reminded today that He is always working!
