Why Is divorce always worse for a woman? She will be judged, called names and considered a failure. Usually she either doesn't remarry or takes a long time to get back into a relationship. Where as everyone just assumes that the man will remarry and be okay. No one ever talks about this double standard.
We need to get to a point where we accept that yes a woman can get divorced and it is okay.
Asedi Manda is a God fearing 50+ year old woman with 4 children ,aged 32, 27, 25 and 23. She is an entrepreneur and also a counsellor. She has been divorced for 7 years now.
