What is the best way to introduce yourself. Let's start with your name. Many Africans agonise on whether to use their mother tongue name or their english name.

This has so many implications such as whether your job application is even looked at, or whether you will be discriminated against based on Tribalism.

However, an African name has power, deep meaning and symbolism. To discard the name you have been using for majority of your life just so as you can accommodate others, takes away from you showing up authentically and confidently.
