Episode description

Kako is the embodiment of motherhood. She has been a single mother. She has adopted orphaned children. She has mothered a daughter in a loving marriage. She is also a mother to the young women she meets in her work space and community. Her children are adults and yet she never stops being a mother. Listen to Kako's story about how she evolved in this role, what her children taught her and how she parents her adult children. It is very clear that no two children are the same. Different ages require different parenting styles and skills. So Mothers you must Evolve.

This episode was recorded with a live audience. You will hear us referring to audience questions.

Kako Michelle Tembo Mvula has over 18 years of experience in anti-corruption work. Her interest in the Youth Ministry is evident in her daily interaction with Youth Groups in her church and community through social media and on a one on one personal approach. Her personal understanding of the youth is that developing their character through strong relationships is the foundation of everything. This belief is based on the fact that her strong foundation was laid for her by her tough loving Jamaican mother and Nsenga father. Throughout her life she has managed to excel both professionally and personally based on lessons learnt from her parents. Kako is married and a proud mother of two beautiful children.
