Bonus Meiyo

This is the sixth of seven bonus episodes. This episode is entitled meiyo, which means honor. The are seven pleats in the hakama and they correlate with the seven virtues of bushido. Bushido is the code of the samurai and it translate to the way of the warrior. Many new comers to the Japanese martial arts often confuse the hakama with a skirt but you would be closer to the mark by thinking of them as the riding chaps of the samurai.
