Sunday is not the Sabbath. Red by Zoe Coltrane. Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy Exodus, chapter 20 verse eight. Raised by Lutherans Lisa and her husband, Ian were attending a uniting church, but we're gradually frustrated by their experience. There. We spent much time reflecting together on things which had felt off to us over the years. Lisa said my husband began spending time reading and researching. We delved into studying the Bible as never before.

One day, Ian announced that Sunday was not the Sabbath day. He could have thrown something at me and had less of an effect. Lisa recalled Riley. There were so many things we had learned from the pulpit that was simply not biblical. I felt as though my world had been shaken. Lisa took the time to study and read what Ian had shared with her and soon concluded that it was true. But nobody worships on Saturdays. She protested.

How will we ever find other people who believe the same things that we do? Seventh day Adventists worship on Saturdays in replied. Went on holiday in Queensland. Lisa decided to visit the seventh day Adventist church in Mosman. That day changed my life. She exclaimed. I felt God's presence. It was quite emotional, knowing that I was exactly where I should be on a Saturday. After returning to south Australia, Lisa and Ian continued to learn more about the Bible.

And began reading Ellen white books. In 2021, I was at the York peninsula field days event and saw a book called the desire of ages at a bookstore. Lisa said, I was excited, but thought that it wasn't the book by Ellen white, perhaps it was another book by the same name. But then I recognized another Ellen white title. Lisa learned that the bookstore was being run by seventh day Adventists and was glad to have people whom she could share her family's journey with.

She met literature, evangelists, Rita pins. Zoni. Who helped her select literature that was appropriate for her family? After the event, Rita stayed in contact with Lisa. Praying for her and introducing her to other church members. We have set up our lives to keep the Sabbath and look forward to attending church. Very soon. Lisa said, I know that this is only the beginning.
