Pride & Pain

Background: Towards the end of his life David goes through some very painful situations; Famine, War, and his own foolish Pride. In all these things the answer is atonement.

2 Sam. 21:1-3 “Now there was a famine in the days of David…”
2 Sam. 21:4-10 “I will do for you whatever you say.”
2 Sam. 21:11-14 “After that, God answered prayer in behalf of the land.”
2 Sam 24:1-4 “Now again the anger of the Lord burned against Israel…”
