Monday Musings - Should you list extra work on your profiles?

I had a question from regular listener, Christina Kim about working as an extra and I thought it was interesting and worth taking about.
The comment: I'm glad you and David mentioned how extra work can still be an avenue to earn income as an actor and be on set.
The question: Any thoughts on putting it in your resume/casting profiles/imdb though? I hear casting directors don't take you seriously if you list extra work.
