Episode description

This week Megan and Jordan are joined by the incredible Erin and Steph (and a fish) - the founders of Birthday Fish Theatre - before they head up to Edinburgh Fringe!
Erin and Steph discuss the birth of the surrealist wonder that is Birthday Fish, starting with conversations in contemporary class and developing into a creatively, collaborative friendship - they get candid about what it takes to get a show to fringe, from conception to completion.
Steph discusses her decision to leave dance school to pursue other interests and how she found her way back to theatre. Erin comes out as a songwriter and gets candid about her relationship with dance and moving into physical theatre, acting and writing.
Birthday Fish is a surreal, hilarious and absurd story that any fellow fish out of water will find utterly relatable. Details on their run can be found @birthdayfishtheatre 🐟
Side notes include Jenna Marbles, Jordan’s deceased dance Instagram, developing a frontal lobe, more impressions and handstand competitions.
RIP Jordans microphone, sorry for the noises, we try our best and we lost a real one.
