Episode description

When I’m angry, there is someone or something to which my disappointment is directed. Whether it’s a person or a situation in the world doesn’t particularly matter. What does is that there is something “out there” which is the reason I am upset.

But if we step back and objectively look at anger, we see that it’s nothing more than a choice we make to let go of peace. Sure someone may have done something unkind, but no one and no-thing can make us angry. That’s our choice.

Consider this powerful line from A Course in Miracles: “Without projection there can be no anger.” The moment we stop projecting we are instantly filled with a joyful calm. And from this place of peace, we can respond to any situation or person with whatever words or actions are most helpful.
