20231017 Herbies Community Cooking Corner

Participants joined Herbie for another cooking adventure. This time: Heidi came back and showed us her Apple Oatmeal Raisin cookies. If cooking along, you will need the following:

• 1/2 Cup(s) (1 stick) plus 6 tablespoons butter softened.
• 3/4 Cups firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 Cups granulated sugar.
• 2 Eggs
• 1 Teaspoons vanilla
• 1-1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
• 1 Teaspoons Baking Soda
• 1 Teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1/2 Teaspoons salt (optional)
• 3 Cups Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
• 1 Cup raisins
• 1 cup applesauce
• Mixing Bowl
• Electric Mixer
• Ungreased Cookie sheets
• Oven
