The use of Scriptures - Jewish, Christian, and Muslim - to justify violence, hate, or war is deeply troubling to the three of us. Today, beginning with our national experience of 9/11, we begin a conversation about what our Scriptures actually say and how those passages are rightly understood and applied to the life of faith.
