AVRA is a post punk rock band based out of Trenton NJ and has been together since 2002. I actually worked with Stellios, the bassist and singer of the band, on another project years ago when I was working out of a recording studio in Trenton. It was great catching up on music and life and talking about the progress they've been making over the years. We also got to chat about a live stream concert series they're in the process of putting together. Their music can be found on all major streaming platforms.
Correction:
Here Stellios gives us some behind the scenes info about the making of the Breathing's Autonomic album by AVRA,
Which will feature a grittier stripped down sound with less synth and string sections than their debut In Other People's Eyes.
But, contrary to what Stellios says in the interview (he would like to correct his statements) because you will in fact hear Alesha Vega and Natalie Negron doing their thing on some songs including Shiver and More You Love!
