This week we continued our Easter series, 'The Weight of Grace', with a message on the suffering of Jesus. Travis invites us to reflect on the phrase 'acquainted with grief' from Isaiah 53.
As we think on the suffering of Jesus in Mark 14 and 15, we consider how he is 'acquainted with grief'.
Jesus' familiarity with grief can help us see our experiences of grief in a completely new light. He offers comfort in the midst of our grief, and He offers hope as we allow our grief to be seen in the light of resurrection.
