Episode description

This week Llewelyn looked at Jesus’ response to the prohibition against murder in the ten commandments.

Jesus calls his listeners to honestly pay attention to who and what they truly love. For Jesus, real righteousness and wisdom means treating every human like they have ultimate value, dignity and worth. God’s Kingdom is meant to reshape our hearts, our character and our imagination.

Llewelyn left us with the following questions to ponder:

  1. What is the Spirit saying to you about your own heart and actions? (Spirit Drawn & Led)
  2. What do your actions show about your heart and who you are? (Growing Down)
  3. How do we live in such a way as to value restoration and right relationship? (Character Formation)
  4. How can you look upon others and see the image of God? (Moral Imagination)
  5. How can you forgo judgement on others and allow God to be the judge? (Fear of the Lord)
