Zoe explains her experiences of working as a director in
Afghanistan, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Haiti and Lebanon. She
will look at the relationship between art and responsibility,
using culture as a form of resistance, and how storytelling can
challenge the status quo, expose human rights violations and
tell the human perspective often misrepresented in the media.
