Sustainability, i.e., ESG, is globally the fastest-growing finance trend. It’s supposed to be able to save the world and, at the same time, yield handsome returns. But how responsible is sustainability, and who gets to decide this? Is the climate crisis cloaked in greenwashing while selling a clear conscience and unreal profit assumptions? We asked Professor Vesa Puttonen from Aalto University.
