Part 2 of a 2 part series focusing on Abraham Lincoln's Cottage - the president's sanctuary during the most turbulent days of the American Civil War.

In this episode, Abraham Lincoln stargazes, recites Shakespeare to Edwin Stanton and befriends the soldiers who guard him before he & his family must evacuate their hideaway in the face of an advancing rebel army. Finally, an anonymous assassin takes aim at  the President during a moonlit horseback ride.
