Time:  1862

Part 1 of a 2 part series focusing on Abraham Lincoln's Cottage - the president's sanctuary during the most turbulent days of the American Civil War. 

In this episode, Abraham Lincoln and his wife Mary Todd struggle with the loss of their son and seek solace in a suspicious seance. Afterwards, the nation's 16th president will commute into the city (alongside the God of War) and grapple with the thorny issue of Emancipation.
