Part 2 of a 2 part series on the intertwined lives of Mathew Brady & Alexander Gardner. This is the story of how America's most famous photographers collaborated to create the Civil War's most enduring images - an exhibit known as "The Dead of Antietam". 

In this episode, Mathew Brady & Alexander Gardner meet with the Union army's new commander, Gardner ventures to the Antietam battlefield (twice) to capture the war's most searing imagery, and Mathew Brady unveils a disturbing new exhibition at his 'palace of light'.
