Jesus is putting His team together. He was going to choose 12 men in total, and they would be the most ordinary of all men. Pastor Greg Laurie points out that the Lord is looking for ordinary men and women to join Him in doing extraordinary things, just like the original 12 that he called. They weren’t 'saints', nor were they scholars. They were hopelessly human, but they were available to the Master’s call.
