Episode description

What if you do the best job you can in parenting, follow the best advice available, read the right books, have the best of intentions, and still, the outcome for your child is not what you planned for him? Parenting is hard. Our kids have their own free will. We can do everything we're "supposed" to do and it may not go exactly as we planned. Tracy Rader will share how God walked her through some hard times and taught her some difficult things through parenting. Psalm 139:5 says that the Lord hems us in and goes before and behind us. We are to parent to the glory of God. Period. No "ands" to follow... just do it to the glory of God. Recommended Books: Parenting Is Your Highest Calling and 8 Other Myths That Lead You Into Worry by Leslie Layland Fields.
