Episode description

Quinn McCormick, yes, the daughter of Jill McCormick, shares her story with us today! We cover a lot of topics in our conversation: transition from high school to college, loneliness, open doors for ministry, spiritual questioning, sexual harassment, and even the death of a friend. Quinn candidly talks from the perspective of a senior in college about her first two years as a college student, and how they were not what she expected them to be. There were many headaches and difficulties that she dealt with. Quinn shares about trusting God through the pain she went through. Jill relates the challenge of being a parent, watching her child go through circumstances which were extremely painful, and taking the position of being present, praying for her, and accepting the fact that mom couldn't "fix" it. Jill honestly shares that sometimes there are things in your child's journey that she has to walk through, and the parent's job is to provide support and prayer, and that's all.
