This is an advanced-level course using a variety of authentic materials from Spain and Latin America to improve your language skills and knowledge of Spanish-speaking societies. The course has seven themes that give a broad introduction to different aspects of Spanish-speaking countries. These are: cultural diversity, art, society, languages in contact, science and technology, trade and employment and the environment. The course includes face-to-face or teleconference tutorials.
