CNN and The New York Times have reported the details of what they say is an initial assessment by the Defense intelligence community following the strikes ordered by US President Donald Trump on three nuclear sites in Iran. The five page document reportedly says the entrances to two of the sites were closed off and that the strikes by B two bombers loaded with bunker busting bombs only set back
Iran's nuclear program by a matter of months. White House Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt says the detail is flat out wrong, and said the leaking of the classified material was a clear attempt to demean President Trump. The commander in chief had previously said the strikes obliterated Iran's nuclear facilities in the United States. Jonathan Kurzley nine News.
The federal government is keeping air Force planes stationed in the Middle East in case they're needed for further evacuations. One hundred and eighteen Australians have been flown out of Israel as a shaky sea spire with Iran appears to be holding. Thousands of citizens have asked for help leaving Iran, but the country's airspace remains closed. Prime Minister Anthony Albanezi says the government is doing what it can to help people escape the region.
The situation is obviously very volatile there. Our hope is that Australians are kept safe. So at the moment there are of course not flight out of Iran. We will always prioritize the safety of Australians.
Defense Minister is meeting his counterparts at the NATO summit in the Netherlands, but talks with the US president appear unlikely. Nine Federal Politics reporter zac De Silver.
Military spending has been top of the agenda at the NATO summit, with the Alliance increasingly concerned about Russia's ongoing aggression. In a bid to deal with the threat, Secretary General Mark Rutter says almost all member nations will dramatically increase their defense budget.

The Defense Minister is representing Australia, which has NATO partner status. There was speculation Richard Miles may meet the US President, who's also attending, but he says that's not on the cards right now.

News, latest start shows inflation is sitting at two point one percent for the year to may drop on the previous reading of two point four. The Reserve Bank will likely see the figures is another sign of weakness in the economy when it decides whether to cut interest rates next month, but economists generally see the Bureau of Statistics monthly inflation data as less reliable than quarterly figures, which
aren't due until late July. Journalist Antoinette Latoufirs won her unfair dismissal battle with the ABC nine senior reporter Josh Bright.

Urgent application by Bruce Luhreman's lawyer to have his to Womba rape case thrown out has been heard in court. The former political staffers lawyer lodged in application this week for a permanent stay in the case, also claiming that police illegally obtained phone calls with Lureman's former lawyers. Loreman was committed to stand a trial last year on two counts of rape that allegedly occurred after a night out in twenty twenty one. The matter was briefly mentioned in
Ipswich District Court today. The application will be heard in full back into Womba on July twenty five in Ipswich and a rulings nine news.
Ija is the most expensive place to shop in the CA, with the average basket costing close to seventy dollars. Consumer group Choice ranked Coal's second in its latest quarterly findings.
