been traded. He played for the Pelicans. He played for Portland for his whole career and then traded to Repelicans. Wasn't there a trading between there? Y'all? Sure, y'are always one hundred percent sure it would be nine percent wrong, But I just want to put that up. Well, then look it up. Then what's his injury? Say, something something happened with is long. I don't know one hundred percent sure it's it's like a disease type

After nineteen seasons in the NBA, andre Iagodala has decided to retire. He's a four time NBA champ and he's the twenty fifteen NBA Finals MVP with the infamous Well he was on the other end of a chased down block from

Lebron James. That won them the series depends on who you ask us, right, most likely Keys, he'll tell you that won them the series. But let's need to hear no there, so shout out to him. Uh. With that being said, two questions. One is he a first ballot Hall of Famer who andre Igudala? No, I'm sorry what you said.

He's not first ballot first ballot. I don't know about first ballot. He'll be a future Hall of Famer though, but you wow, okay, go ahead, you wouldn't you want to expound on that or you just I mean, Dolls had a decent career, but at the same time, he hasn't had a superstar career, you know what I mean If that makes sense. I mean, he had a great career, but he didn't have a superstar Hall of Famer automatic career. I guess my thing when you say that though

this think about that number one. We know, but then again, stars, not only superstars go to Hall of Fame. But I think about it, I think he's had a good enough career to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. I think he has a first because compared to other people who were our first ballot home Hall of Famers, I think that he did what he was supposed to do. It just been on who in that class that's going in with him. I'll get that. So Iggy is not a first

ballot Hall of Famer? Is he a Hall of Famer? Absolutely? Iggy had a really good career. We're not gonna say great. He had a really good career. He had a really great situation with the Golden State Warriors. I give Iggy credit because he was Golden State's first big free agent signing, right. That was one of their first acquisitions when you start talking about the new Golden State Warriors. But if you look at Iggy's career stats,

they're not that great. They're average at best. To His highest scoring season was seven to eight. He averaged nineteen point nine points a game and he averaged roughly five rebounds a game and four assists a game. That was statistically his best year overall in terms of points and things. And then he had

another good season nine ten. I still question them giving him that Finals MVP it should have went to Steph. But because he was on Lebron, he was coined the Lebron Stopper, right because they beat Lebron and they gave him that MVP. Defensively, he did stop Lebron, but if you don't get Steph's offense, you don't win that title. But what's done is done, So Iggy is certainly a Hall of Famer, first ballot questionable. Iggy will go down as one of the greatest role players to ever play the game,

but he didn't change the game. When I think about first ballot Hall of Famers, I think about people that changed the game or brought a certain level of excitement to the game. He's good, but Iggy's not first ballot. So let me ask you this. Then he's a great role player. Because I've seen a debate one day, I was just gonna go into that. That's what brought this discussion up. Was to me was to me he was our first ballot Hall of Famer. But I know what you're talking about.

On Gilli's podcast called Gill's Arena, they were having a discussion about who's better Iggy or Kawhi Leonard, and it started off with I forgot his name. I can't think of his name, Stephen Jackson. No, it's it was, I can't think of his name. He gotta dog dog and ms mckamts. Why is why is this even a question? This is a question watching not a question. This is here's my thing, here's my thing. Why is it a question Kawhi or andre because we had a better career, That's

what they were debating about. Why is that a question? Because if you asked, if you compare the two, you sure you want to do that? Right now? Here's my thing about these two? Yeah, yeah, right, let's do it, okay, because I'm looking at some I'm looking at a side by side right now. Now. These are accolades. NBA Championship he has four, Kawhid has two, clearly, uh but Kawhi has twelve season he has nineteen. Oh I really got like seven because he didn't

play well. Well, that's on him. But my thing about that is, I mean when you talk about his his accolades like first NBA team, first real quick, real quick is dre? Was he a top seventy five? Who andre ig Dolla? No? Was Kawhi at top seventy five? No? You sure I don't remember. I don't think he is okay because he was hurt too much during that time. He was hurt. Double check. My thing about this is when you compare, let's go, we compare

statistics. Kawhi's stats are better than his? Are they percentage? This is percentage. Iggy's is forty six, Qua's forty nine, three point range, Iggy's thirty three leonards, thirty eight free throw seventy, He's eighty, Kawha's eighty five. Kawhi averaged more points than him. He is on there, Yeah, average more rebounds than him. Uh, he's averaged more blocks than him. So let me a better defensive players. No comparison. So I think that I really wanted to play the clip. But but my only issue

is what that is. Kawhi came into a great situation which helped him develop a little bit faster. Iggy went to the Warriors. Later on, it was Kawhi was drafted. Though he was drafted. I'm just speaking speaking, speaking facts speaking Kawhi came into a great situation with Tim Duncan and

Tony Parker and man Je them three. There was three automatic Hall of famers when he came there, they was automatically gonna be Hall of Famers. He was drafted. The only person Iggy came into was who Yeah I sent Yeah, I cent in Philly. He went when he came had I in Philly, Phillye we finished. I'm not gonna bet you can you can you feeling When Iggy came to Philly, Iverson was on his way out the door.

They played four or five seasons together. They were like two. They played one two seasons, one season together, and then they gave the keys to Iggy. Remember, yeah, what I'm saying like Irison season together. Iris was on his way out because Iggy got drafted high. Yeah was like twelve. No, I'm serious. I think it's I don't know what it was. I think about what nobody who about good Dollar play with can compare to the players that Kawhi played with, Steph Curry, who was a hole in the wall step about in the beginning of their careers. So so so why first three years he had Tim Duncan, Tony Parker Man, Sean Elliott. He was the new guy. So so so he's at fault because he was drafted. No, I'm not saying he's at fault, but I'm saying, when you compare the two, they're in

two different situations. That don't matter. Y'all asked the question. You asked the question. You can't say, well, it's two different and Iggy was more athletic than me. So here's what I'm gonna tell you, and I'll leave it at this. If I'm picking a player, I'm picking Kawhi. Is he gonna play a lot less? Absolutely, that doesn't mean Iggy didn't have a good career, But Kawhi Leonard statistically is a better player. Offensively, is a better player defensively? Is a better player. Now, what

I will say is I Q for the game. Giggy might get a notch. It could be coaching in a year two, he'll probably get Golden State with Steve kirk Walks. So what if you look at their first three years? Who was better Kawahi by a lot? Oh? No, you first three years? Five? Their first three season? Feel like Iggy who had a better first five years? Today? Here here's Iggy stats. Oh four oh five he averaged in points uh he averaged nine points, five rebound,

five point seven rebounds, three assists. Year two twelve point three points uh five point nine assists, three point one rebounds. Uh second season or third season eighteen points, five point seven assists, five point seven rebounds. Right, So that's that's Iggy. So I'll say this hold second hold, give you Kawhi hold on their best two seasons. Kawhi bestie was twenty twenty. That was his best season. Uh, Iggy best season was twenty eight,

was two thousand and eight. Kawhi average twenty seven. He averaged nineteen. And let's not forget Kawhi came in many years later. Kawhi came in twenty eleven. Yeah, he came in twenty oh four. Okay, so Kawhi Leonard, Okay, his average points here. Let's see. But you're you're comparing you when you can what you're looking at is apple and oranges? No, because you asked the question. What I'm looking at is the question that you ask The question I asked was now the Kesey's point, I'm gonna ask

he answer question. The first three seasons, I had a better better statistic points and rebounds those first three seasons, but after that there was no catching Kawhi. Those first three seasons, Kawhi averaged his first year off the bench seven point nine one assists, five rebounds. Second season eleven points, six rebound, one point, six assists, and then he went up twelve points. But after that, Kawhi blows him out the water statistically every single season.

But here's the here's a problem with basketball. And I get it. It makes for great talk, it makes for great TV. We can't just appreciate that they're both were good to their team. We can't appreciate that. I say, hold up, we have to say who was better because that's what we do. That's what we do. So at the end of the day, but that's straticlarly, that's what they did their job. Who's better mister Douglas or so and so. So we're gonna package over there. We're

gonna pick with the Douglas because he's he's better. So what I'm saying is Iggy had a good career. He will be a Hall of Famer. But y'all saying that first ballot I don't think he is. There's a lot of first ballot people that are probably better than him that's not in it yet. I don't know. I will say I was Like I said before, it depends on his class. But I think he's a first ballot Hall of Famer. I don't see why he wouldn't be when you have guys like to me.

To me, Iggy falls in that category of Robert Or. Was he first ballot? I think he was first ballot. He falls in that category. Uh right, Yeah, I know what's gonna have four no matter how you got him, he has four. Iggy, he contribute, hentribute. I'm saying. That's what I'm saying, Like I'm y'all saying he not a first battle That's what I was like. Really, I think he's a first ballot Hall of Famer to me because because he may not be the star,

but he contributes to your team and he can. He's contributed to all four of those championships. And according unless I'm reading it wrong, Robert Or is not even in the Hall of Fame. I felt he was. He's not even in the Hall of Fame. He's in the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, but he's not in the Basketball Hall of Fame. Double check on man. But and here's why they say, Robert Or, although he has seven championships, his career does not scream Hall of Fame. He's one of the

greatest role players in NBA history. The Hall of Fame isn't solely based on numbers. But ain't you the one who said Andre Doland had a I said he had a good career, a good, good role player. And he asked, is he first ballot? I said, he's so, I'm telling him, I'm telling him to listen. Yeah, so he is not first ballot, and according to this he might. He might not be All of

Famer at all. If they're judging Robert Or, who has seven rings and they call him big shot rob to now, let Sports America here, According to what I'm reading, the only Hall of Fame that Robert Or is for all my fact checkers out there, he is only in the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in twenty ten. See to me, that's a tragedy. He is not in the Hall of Fame. Had seven championships and he's not in

the Hall of Fame. So if you're telling me that Iggy is a first ballot Hall of Famer for his mediocre role player career, then I question, it's not low. He did have it. He was a mediocre role player. I happened to stop Lebron thing. Either, He's good or he's mediocre, he's good. Five, he's good. Are you taking Robert or are you taking Iggy? I'll take Egy. I'm taking big shot rob I'm taking

because you know what all them big shots translated into what seven titles. Yeah, that's what I'm saying, like we should be we should be more shocked than he's not in the Hall of Fame. But man, Yeahbert, nothing shocked me because you never heard his name until a big shot. You know who else had big shots? Steve Kerr, John Packs hold on second time, I talk about time about Tony Parker is in the Hall of Fame. He's one of the greatest foreign players to ever played the game. Come on,

Baron Davis is in the Hall of Fame. Tony Parker had a ten year stretch where you can guard him, especially with the mid range pick a roll with Duncan. He was unguardable. He was in a system. Stop it. He's an assistem. Is he top ten? Top ten? What point guards all time? Possibly? Who park Yes? All time? He's on the top seventy five. I didn't ask you that. I said is he top ten all time? To you? To you, I'll just say this to you, is he top ten point guard of all time for the

But the point, my point is that my point is this though, like I just asked, was he in your top ten? And I know he's nineteen ninety to president, Yes, I've never seen him play. Is not I have never seen him play. I've never people that are in my top ten. I got at number seventeen on list I know. That's why I asked,

y'all, park Parker, who's above them? Who's above them? And here's how this argument started is because he thinks Iggy deserves Hall of Fame over Tony Parker. No, I say, I think he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Walf Fraser, Walt Fraser, Yeah, Okay, what's the book? Okay? You average triple double? Gary Payton yeah. Jason Kidd, Yes, he can beat out tone because I don't even know him. Steve Nash No, yes, absolutely not. John Yes, yes,

Chris Paul yes, Isaiah Thomas yes. Jerry West yes, doctor Jerry West. Yes, you lay out falls. You didn't see him play, but he's the logo. Didn't see him play. He's the logo, But you didn't see him play. When we're going home to be with the Lord and our kids and our nieces are still and our kids are still wearing George's You know what they're gonna say, Michael Jordan was the greatest player to ever play, because they're still wearing the shoes going on what you said. Yeah,

in some cases, but he's the logo Steph Curry. Clearly, I don't know that he's a shooting gun. Definitely, he's a shooting gun. So Tony Parker top twenty of all time, Okay, I said top ten. Kyrie Irving should be there, top twenty five. But anyway, Iggy had a Hall of Fame. Let me say this. If I had a vote between Iggy and Kawhi and there was one spot left in the Hall of Fame, He's not getting that spot. That's how I'll say it. He had a good season, as he had a good career as a role player.

I feel like we talked about the Hall of Fame situation. I feel like a lot of people who get into the Hall of Fame, in my opinion, shouldn't be there. Like oh, you keep saying that, Like who, I don't know. If the talk of my hair, I don't know. I'm not gonna put my foot in my mouth like some other people. Well, because you said Baron Davis is in the Hall of Fame. I don't know if he's in the Hall of Fame, but Davis, she should be in the top twenty eight guards, maybe the knees to top twenty

five. My thing is this, I just feel like he should be in the Hall of Fame. First ball the Hall of Famer. I think he had the career. I think the championship solidified it. When he was in Philadelphia, he was he was a one man show. So I feel like, oh, Iggy, I feel like he needs to be in the Hall of Fame. I'm not saying that he's not. I think Vince Carter is in the Hall of Fame, so like, don't, I just don't. I just feel like he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Will

In exchange in Philadelphia seventy six years acquired Marcus Morris, H Nicholas Batua, the Batoon, and then Robert Covington kJ Martin in a twenty twenty eight unprotected first round pick, two second round picks, a pick swap, and a first round pick from a third team that hasn't been announced. Yeah, it should be announced, but I don't know what it is. I just want to say this before you continue. I'm gonna share this out on our pages

and I'm gonna share it with you all. Just at a first glance, just at the first glance of the Hall of Fame of some of the NBA players, there's not a lot of role players in this thing that, like you say, shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame. There's not a lot of role players in here. Now you hold up. Now, you may see some names that you may not know, because remember the Hall of Fame. Hold up, it's not just NBA, it's basketball period. But a

lot of these NBA player names you see are not role players. I just want you to know that while you're making the case for Iggy. No, and here's my thing, because I was gonna let his die and let it be No, we can we can't. I'm yeah, yeah, bring it back. Like Chris Mullet, for example, he wasn't a role player. He was a star for Golden State. Right. Is he a Hall of Famer in your eyes? Yes? Or no? Okay? Does he have championships? I just want to know, No, No, no champions How

many people are in the Hall of Fame from the NBA? Man, hundred, I'm gonna send you all this players, hundreds, you know, But I think it'd be dope for us to dive in. And we're gonna dive in. I'm gonna say, I've seen missus hollow Day when it happened with Missus Holliday, when she talked about it, and she talked about it how and people talk about it in general, how you don't think people don't think of it as a business even though it's a business move. And the way these players find out it's so messed up when they actually talk about it. But it just reminded me, like he got emotional talking about how you know, he had to tell like he had to

tell his wife, His wife got emotional. He was emotional, OKJ was emotional when he was talking about it as far as like him getting traded because he loved being uh in La. So it's just one of them things where I'm just like, wow, it just it just it just hit a little

differently. I mean, we'll go and when we talk about the Bucks talk, we'll kind of, you know, talk about how Drew I don't think he was dead wrong, but when you come down to it, like what's the what's the right way and what's the wrong way to approach the trade. I know, but should there be it Should it be strictly business? Should you have the courtesy call somebody up like, hey, just want to let you know, matter of fact, in this trade, Danny Green got released

from Philadelphia. He said, I had literally unpacked ninety percent of my stuff. Maury called him, was like, hey, I know you unpack it right now, but uh, you might want to put that stuff back. So so let me just say this to that point. Who's he called Danny Green? He was like, I'm ninety percent unpacked and and I get this phone call like, hey, I just want to let you know there was a trade, and you will. So it just so happened. They we

have X amount of players on the team. You're the extra man. We're gonna release you. So here here's the thing. But they usually he usually they usually don't do that. But I just want to focus right now. I just want to focus on the trade. Shrew Holliday got traded in church, so I don't want to hear that they don't do that. He got traded in worship. He said, he got He said he was laying down

something like that. I was the first trade. The second trade, happened while the man was in church, because I know because I walked to him and his wife in church. Please, we don't need this stuff for us. I'm not Stunn, but you're questioning if it's true or not. He was literally in church when he got traded to the Boston Celtics, was literally in church. But to answer your so are you asking us a two part

questions? No, I was gonna focus on James Harden trade. Oh geez, I feel bad for the Clippers. Really, yeah, continue because he's the fourth team now that he's done that, he's bullied his way too. He's bullied his way to every single team except the Houston Rockets, and he's done nothing with none of those teams. So good luck to the Clippers and that culture of my way or the highway. You have a Kawhi Leonard who barely plays. You have a Paul George that you are often called playoff p

who does not close in the finals. You got Russell Westbrook, who I think people are hard on for no reason, overly hard on, overly hard on Westbrook, and now you're adding James Harden to the mix. I'm gonna say this, like I said about my books that I'm sure. I can't wait till we talk about Los Angeles Clippers championship or bust no excuses, and you're not beating Denver, you're not beating Golden State. And Harden did he even re sign an extension right away? Or is he gonna be available next

season? Yeah, that's try, that's whack to me. I'm so tired of James Harden. I'm so tired of it because he does the same thing. How many super You know how we dogged Lebron and KD for Superstars? How many does he need? He's now, let's talk about James Harden. He couldn't get it done in Okay. See he had Russy, No, no, no, my moment, but I love it. He had Russy, he had k D. He had Abaca or Shabaka as you like to

say, all in their pride, all in their prime did. He went to Houston, he had mellow right, he had Chris Paul kez right, he had some hitters in Houston. Couldn't get it done, bullet his way out of Houston and went to where Brooklyn? Was it Brooklyn? He had Katie again, he had Kyrie again. They didn't even play twenty games and he was out of there bullet his way to Philly. He had Embiid, he had Tarby's MAXI not a superstar, but a great role player, right?

A great role player? Is he not? He had Joe l Embiid. He had a winning formula in Philly and couldn't get it done either. Now he's going to the Clippers with a half injured Kawhi, occasional injured Paul George and with some would say a six or seventh man in Westbrook? What is different about this Clippers situation than any other team he's been, other than it being on the West Coast. I'm done because I don't like it.

I just like it. It burns. You do this because when you do this, you talk about cause you talk about set them on fire, he said, biscuits. I me on fire because when you talk about these superstars that James Harden had, did not do you not do it to Lebron? Do you not do it to Lebron? Lebron is different? You know it is? That's number one? Did you not do it to KD? You do with KD? Is James Harden not a top shooting guard to ever play this game. Yes, Can I finish them? Can I finish you finish

dictor? My think about it is this number one. Okay, don't count. He's young, you don't count. Don't tell me you had Russell Westbrook and k D. They was they were drafted there, don't tell me. But I don't care about that. Had KD and Brooklyn? Get for me? So and then you want to talk about where do he go out there? He went to Houston. Houston that was prime James Harden back. He went back to back MVP but scoring titles. He was the man back then.

And Houston he can he was a one man showing Houston. I'll give you that. I don't even think he really had like who he had. He had a nice squad over there, and he was by hisself.
