A three team trade happened on Wednesday between the Milwaukee Bucks, the Phoenix Suns, and the Portland Trail Blazers. It goes as

the Phoenix Suns they get Jerk was the jerk of the Nuke. They get this white, big white dude a center. Let's just na nah, you better learn that man name because he is an impact player. So I will not learn his name because he say his name. He will not be making an impact. Who won't. We'll get into it, but he won't be not making an impact. Okay, let's just cut the crap here. Grayson

Allen, Uh, Nasar Little and kan Keenan Johnson whatever. Uh. The Portland Trailblazers have Drew Holliday DeAndre Ayton, the two thousand and twenty nine Milwaukee first round pick, the two thousand twenty eight and in two thousand and thirty first round first round swap rights with Milwaukee, and Milwaukee is getting Damien Dame Time letter. Now, first thoughts. First thoughts, not where where are you? Where were you doing when a news fee came across your phone?

I'll start with Trey. You know what's crazy, man is uh. I'm gonna following your script. I won't give opinions, but you said, first thought, where it was? I? I was actually sitting on a panel for a local organization here of Okay, on the panel, and so I had both of my phones on my lap. everybody's like what. So I was literally sitting in a room at an executive lunching as a panelist, paying attention to my phones and was just lost all focused. So that's why I was there when that went down. At first, I didn't know it was real, but I saw the wold in the blue check in the column, and I said, oh, this is as real as real gets. Okay, go ahead, go ahead. So I'm not gonna incriminate myself. Okay, but I'm giving out too much. I

mean I didn't occurate myself. I mean, I'm a salary bloy. I'm just saying to myself. I was sitting at my desk and I just so happened to pick my phone up. You know. I'm like, you know, sometimes I like to listen to music. So before I can click on the music, I see an alert from the the sports m and I'm like, what is this? And I see Dame and I see Bucks like he're

going on to one of these false things. And something just said click it anyway, and I click it and it says Pearl woh, Dame Lillard has been traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. And all I could do it's just get up out my seat quietly, quietly, and I walked. I was like, you know, what if I could have had a cold, when I would have but you know what, I would have got a water, a sprite. Okay, just the water. It's the water. That's good man, that's good. That's good me. And other hand, I was in

the middle of actually something important. I'm walking down the hallway. I'm looking at him. It came across. I have an eye watch, so it kind of bught. My wrist buzz this what the huh? Like like you keys, I'm like, no, this is fake, this is just speculation. We just recorded this. This is not gonna happen. And I looked again. I was lying, and I've seen the wolds and I'm like, no, no, Now. My first initial thought was my first initial thought

was did we get damn without giving up nothing? And then I got into more details and I see what we had to give up. I had to battle with it for for like ten seconds. I was like, my first thought was I know they didn't, but be honest, I swear I thought that did you just thinking they trade it because I didn't see the details. It didn't. It just came across Dame to Milwaukee. It didn't give no details details Dan Milwaukee life. They were they were softening the blow for us

because we got happy when we can't read. And it went from yes to dang, not gonna lie for me for about all about eight seconds because and they only say that because I like Drew. I Drew. Drew is a real one. I like Drew. He does a lot for the community of Milwaukee. Drew. We appreciate everything you've done for our community, your family. Thank you for sticking around as long as you did, man, being a part of this culture and helping us get our first ring and thirty years.

hear me out. But what I'm saying is the point I'm making is the Bucks lost in terms of what they got, but there's no losers in the trade, but the Bucks lost the trade from that standpoint. Because here's about the line. Okay, the Milwaukee Bucks have now changed our franchise into like the Lakers, when now it was already there, but now we to really win now because you have no excuses. Oh, we'll see. Let's give him a chance to play together. It is my thing. I understand

You don't pick up those guys unless you're trying to win now, especially because they're aging. And to me, Aiden was the week point They're like, well we can, we can get rid of him. Portland is obviously trying to rebuild around around Scoop. So my thing was, which is why they're trading Drew. Yeah, that's why

getting rid of Drew. So my thing is I think I think Phoenix was the biggest losers in here because y'all already gonna have issues with depth and this doesn't to me, doesn't help having Grace and Alan on your team. I don't see how he fits in there. The Milwaukee Bucks are now the favorites to win the NBA title. Yeah, based on veas, they're the favorites. That's a lot of pressure. It's a lot of pressure. It's a

lot of pressure the first time being here. But if anybody is gonna catch the most scrutiny behind this, it's going to be dang because you haven't. It's going to be dang because you gotta look at it like this. Everybody talked about. All he talked about is he was loyal to Portland and then he couldn't get nobody to Portland. They just threw you in the mix with

a full roster. They threw you in the mix with a full rotational roster, full rotational roster with but with arguably the best player in the whole NBA, but playing with Steph Kurry. No, I'm just kidding. But you also have a rookie coach. It doesn't matter. That doesn't matter, it

But at the same time, like that coach to me, the pressure if we can if we're asking the question who has the most pressure, I think the coach because you can't sit here and say we didn't give you the tools to win, and we can't sit here and say, hey, we didn't do what we're supposed to do. I went back to listen to our podcast last week and listen to some of the comments we made. Right I threw in the Bucks as a secret team. We all were riding Dame for being kind of bogus to his team, and then we all was

like, hey, we think he's gonna start important. So a report came out that said Dame, when he saw that Miami was falling apart, he went to the GM and said, let's just forget it. Let's just go back in and figure it out. And the GM told him no turning back tray because they were linking him up into the final hour. Toronto Chicago were the two teams that allegedly had the best chance. But Brian Winhorse reported a long time ago about how Milwaukee was always the silent person. And here's why

they tried to keep it quiet out of respect to Drew. Because here's the thing, And we said this even when it became rumors about the whole what if what if? Right, we all knew that the only way that Damian Lillard can get to Milwaukee was by way of who Drew Holiday now that I knew, But we knew that. But we also sat here also said we rather said who? We rather have Drew over? No, we did, I said, said we'd rather trade who. Ye that the only way to

Milwaukee was to get rid of your star point guard. I don't know. I knew it, we knew it. We knew it, but I didn't think they would. But the only reason they got rid of Drew's because he had the shortest contract. And I think that's what entice the Blazers because they figured we can we can easily off. We can either use him for this year, or we can get a good trade and for some picks for a championship contender that won't a point guard that that can come in and play right

away. The minute the trade went down, the Portland Trail Blazers released the statement that said they have no intentions on keeping Drew Holiday. They want to trade him to a contending team so he can ride out the rest of his career. So Portland has given him the respect to get his money and go to a contending team before Now, keep in mind, the first preseason game for most people is October seven. You know what that is next week,

That's next Saturday. That's next Saturday. Drew has his beautiful house in Milwaukee. God blessed Drew and Lauren Holiday, amazing people the privilege of being with him in church all the time. So Drew is now really sitting waiting to see what his future holds. But because he doesn't know. But I guarantee you Drew knew this was coming. This is something that brewed overnight. Here's why they didn't talk to Jannis about this trade. You believe that I believe

So it's one of those things where it kind of goes, you know, back and forth whatever. But But to me, going back to the original question, like the winner and losers, I think it was Phoenix again. No losers. I think all got a but I think we got one thing I did though about Jannis was they did say that the GM didn't want to burden him with that pressure and put him in the middle and put him in the middle of you know what I'm saying someone he has a close relationship

with. So but they knew Y'anni wanted something done. So at the end of the day, something had to be done. And Dame still got three years on this on this contract, so Yanni's got what he need for the next three years, hopefully because Yanni still has to I think bringing Dame was even if the Bucks don't get it done in year one, I think bringing Dame to Milwaukee show jan instead we are with because now we're we were already

And I think at the time I said Westbrook because this was early in the season and all these people are I was like, what are you kidding? Dame on Day? Dave? Don it? So?
