Episode description

This poetry collect is a collaboration between 23 year-old son Denver Darden and 52 year-old mother Deborah Agnew. Lessons Learned is a compilation of experiences over the course of life, introducing various changes. Denver writes from the venue of a young, first time author and rapper. Deborah, a published poet and modern poet continues to express herself in another view from another version. Based upon the life of a long time single mother providing both a home and life for her son, mother talks about lost love, endurance, pain, passion, and the desires within her life. The son gives his version of a life full of discord, resentment, rebellion and young love. Both sides are similar yet different but lessons learned is a series of just that. Hopefully the reader will come away from this whether young or older and look back at events. Where ups or downs pitfalls or addictions. Lessons Learned is full of compassion.
