First, a review of the gameday premier of Ol’ Tuffy and the introduction of beer sales at Carter Finley Stadium. Next, Joe Ovies speaks with Ian Van Gundy, the head brewer for R+D Brewery and Mike Foreman, VP of marketing for the Carolina Hurricanes for the unveiling of Storm Brew, a lite lager brewed in partnership with the Carolina Hurricanes. Mordecai Beverage Company is a new taproom and bottle shop in Raleigh’s Gateway Plaza. Owners Andrew Christenbury and Kyle Crane introduce their new venture, a brewery that is also a place to hang out, socialize and enjoy new beers.
