Speaker 1

It's nine with Jenny Garth and Tori Spelling. We're back. Hello, o MG years hi. I took my hair back into place because I'm so winstruct Oh no, Sanna Anna Winds on this episode. Episode was everything. I really liked it. First of all, I have so many questions about life in general. What can we help you with? Mostly I have questions about QBC, but I in the shower yesterday I came up with the like Brenda question that is

has to be answered, the Brenda question, Brenda question. So let's start in the same sentence you just said QVC and Brenda like, literally, okay, how was QVC? I ordered my blanket. I already got it, so nice of you, of course, And I'm like really over the bar cart and guys just for me to listening. I don't get this for free. I used my real money, real money, not fake money, not fake money. But I'm really thinking about the bar cart. But here's my question. How easy

is it? Because the selling point for me was the foldability, and then I can go under how easy is it to set up and take down? It's so easy we could do it because that guy made it. I watched the video like that guy made it look really easy, so it pops out. It's anyone it is. It's bark carts for dummies, like anyone can do it. It folds down flat of the pancake too. How do you get it down those or like a nothing nothing, nothing's gonna pull you take the trays off and then once those

are released, it goes down boom fault. Stick it under your couch, put it in your car, take it somewhere, frank it. The pink blanket is epic. Uh the I love it. The oversized this is amazing. First panics because I couldn't find the tag because I wanted to make sure it was machine washable because some of them are dry clean only and that would be kind of a pain in the ass. Who would make a blanket that you have to dry clean? Let me just say that, Yeah,

I have many dry clean only blankets. Jen is obsessed with washing. She's a guru, guru of anything cleaning. That was her first thing. She was like, it has to be machine washable because I will use it. And since she and my daughter Stella taught me how to wash, I was like I went along. I'm like, good, great, great, let's do it. I've become obsessed with watching watching um TikTok's about cleaning, you guys, about folding clothes and cleaning, and I feel like I'm at an unhealthy place with this,

with cleaning or TikTok. Did you see the lady with the rabbit holes her bridge? No, you guys, there's a lighty going on viral on tick right now. Who has like a curated inside of a refrigerator? She has flowers like not like like flowers and a picture frame? Oh, I got up, But who has the room for that? Like I can barely fit my food in my friend with kids like this? Yeah, okay, jen Um, I feel like when it comes to cleaning, you are the guru.

I feel like you should do TikTok space. I really feel like, Okay, I might have missed my calling because I spent the last three days redoing our closets and I've never had more fun. Literally, I haven't had more fun in the last like six months. Did you see Cortney Cox doing her books? You're gonna want to watch that one. Wait wait, wait, what was your most selling item? What was the most popular item? I don't know, Wait, have to tell you something else. In that closet. Okay,

you know our trunk. I have the gold trunk. Put the gold trunk in the closet for the hamper. That's where we're putting our dirty clues. It's so fun. That's a good one. Yeah, we're gonna need some TikTok's how we like to We like to show that our products are so multi multifunctional. You can use them for so many different things. I think, said Brandy said the jars, the Pope carry jars. Unshocked. It wasn't the class. The price was excellent too. We're glad you liked it, Amy Sugarman.

I was everything still available, So it was into the Ottoman. But I think I'm gonna go for the bar card. Would you call I love that Ottoman? I love the Ottomans. Someone saying gold trunk. Was there a gold trunk? There is? Yeah, there is. That's the one. She says that she used for a hamper. But it's storage. Plus it can be a side table like no, no, it's it's like pebbled leather or patent leathers. The gold one, it's hard. The

gold one we mimicked, not mimicked. Inspired by a vintage literally a metal trunk that was so heavy and gorgeous though, that people would use as a sign table, and we wanted to do that, but make it, you know, something that was easy to move and you could store stuff in it. Family friendly. Oh it's everything. I don't wait. Does it come in green? Also? Yes? Oh wow, I did not? And off white. That's pebbled leather. Not to start talking about our but I'm tired of talking about it.

What show? It's okay this week? Should I save my Brenda question? Or should I ask it? Now? It is really serious? You should save it. We should dive in and when we hit on Brenda, there's not much Brenda to talk. I know. This brings me to my question. It's season four, episode fourteen, Winstruck air December Synopsis. The Santa Anna Winds are rolling in and making everybody crazy. Donna is finally thinking about doing the deed makes it

sound so unromantic. Kelly and Dillon are feeling the love, and Brandon sticks up for Steve when he realizes he was set up. Directed by Gilbert Chilton, written by Larry Mullen and Richard Golance. H Now it makes sense because I felt very a lot of masculine energy in this masculine toxicity. Maybe perhaps because uh that whole opening, and then it was in the later two of Howard Stern. Uh what, I was so confused and so grossed out. What Yeah, Okay, I didn't like it. I I got

I loved this episode that part hated. Uh. So I meant to fact check this because I know Amy does her dates and facts checks, and I didn't do it. But so at the time, Howard Stern was obviously huge, and I want to say I started doing the Howard Stern Show and became like it was a thing with him and I and I feel like maybe this overlap time wise, and that's why they thought of putting him in something with me, because he was always like obsessed with like my personal life and like what was going on,

and this fit right into it. And I'm thinking maybe they offered it to him, but that didn't work out, and then they had Mr Pitts the landlord be Howard Stern. But I think there's an overlap here, and that's the reasoning I still hated it. How do we check about I can check it well. I can tell you that

Howard Stern was he was on radio road radio. We all used to do his show, and we got in New York and had something to promote, we would go in the Howard Stern his show because Randy probably protected you. And from eighties six to two thou before he switched to satellite, so this would be when he was in

his harime. So this is the first time on my behalflet you know, we were young and publicity trained, and they kept us like, here's what you say, and here's what you don't say, and keep it short and nothing personal out there. And this is the one time that they're like, well, Howard Stern, though, is so big that it's worth it. But you gotta know going into it, everything's off the table. He's going to ask you anything

and everything, and you've got to be prepared. And I remember being like eighteen going to New York and I remember my manager and publicists were like, you should do this, and I asked my dad and he was like, you should do this, but just know he's going to ask about everything. And it was also on e remember you would like you could watch like thirty minutes of it on e yes. I never got publicity training. I've rewind rewind to the part where you said they trained us

had a dupe. I never got that. Remember they must have said, like remember like when you hear the question, don't give them too much, just answer what's in that question? And Fox didn't do it. No, like personal publicists, Like, oh, maybe that's why. When did you first get a personal publicist? Remember? Like, was it I think when I did my first TV movie and I went to New York to do publicity because nine o two, No, No, it wasn't for that.

We were just left to fend for ourselves the Cheerleader movie. Hm, I felt like when, um, okay, it was it just me? Or when first of all, you were adorable Donna in this whole episode. I loved everything about it. You look so natural, so comfortable, so easy. Just oh, I loved it, loved it, loved it. And that's not because I love you, because I really loved it, but that there was a point in I think it was the first scene with you and David in the bedroom after the dream you

I thought you were me. I felt like I thought you looks we look so much so similar in those scenes. It was freaking me out. I was like that, like the hair brushing scene no before that, before the bed when she wakes up next to David after the dream was so I just loved it all. I love said that. Remember, like a year ago, you were like, are we becoming There was some like something where you thought we looked

a tiny bit like each other. And I think friends and sisters, like there's something innately that comes out at certain times that you don't really look like each other, but it's like a feeling because you're so close feeling it. Let's start talking about the Don and David thing, because uh, it was so good. I don't understand, though, how is this normal? Like that your whole group of friends goes to celebrate your anniversary. That was so weird. I thought

that they go to your anniversary dinner. I don't think so, but I think they just wanted a group scene, you know how once in a while be like, hey, I remember that, Like I have a vivid memory of filming that scene and then going home afterwards. Where was that film? Do you remember? I was going I don't remember. I wanted to know. Why would you ask me that I don't know? Because some somebody should be able to find out if they look because there's like a whole locations

thing on the Internet. That's how I found all the San Francisco ones. Do you think it's normal for a friend group to also know if you yeah, yeah, guarantee. They didn't want Mr Pitts to play Howard Stern. They wanted Howard Stern. I mean, I would assume that was the part that I didn't love. Mr Pitt's playing Howard. It was weird. Why do that if you can't have Howard Stern? And why give him dialogue when he looks at Donna and says is everything real here? And he's

like asking you if your body is? Because that's what Howard Stern actually did in real life. Oh my god, I know, which was hard for someone so young, like but it did you guys watch the Pamela Anderson documentary? But I heard it so good. Did you watch it? It's so good, but it's so sad. I heard her son kind of produced it with her. I wanted to watch it the other night and my kids go, who's Pamela Anderson? And I was like, oh my god. I had to explain. Remember how we were big in the

nineties for a teen drama. She was big in the nineties as like the biggest sex symbol around. And then I said remember babe watch and they were like the movie was zac Efron and I was like, oh man, that's like what happens right, That's like the person on TikTok that called it n S Y n C. I don't I like that tomato dress. I love that tomato dress. What was the reason behind picking the tomato dress for that? Was there some sub text there? M there must have

been ripe tomatoes. Oh, she's right for the picking. Time to let it go, the blessing to do the wild thing? What the heck do you love? Do you love French tulips? And I did not know that there were French tulips. Oh yeah, yeah, French French versus like a regular tulip. They're just a little more sassy. Again with the being

ahead of the time with the fires, yeah in the newspaper. Yeah, and then well that's what happens when the San Santa Anna's below here in southern California, there's always a wildfire, even bigger problem now, but must have been a big deal then. Yeah. I think it's definitely gotten worse. But it was so windy though in that scene outside the Chinese restaurant. Oh yeah, Kelly and Brenda's hair was flying all around everywhere, and then you'd cut to the boys,

nothing moving, like, not a hair out of place. All that pa made you think the wind was real? Was the wind real? No? Are you sure that looked like real wind? But I'm sure it's the coins. I guess it could have been. Wait, can I say, reading about that scene since you just talked about it before, I forget the one like outside, Yeah, when they're throwing the wish. I'm sorry? Is it just me that noticed this? I

thought it was a little weird. Where Donna and David are leaving and she goes in to kiss her best friends and Brandon leans right in to get a kiss. He's like back there waiting, So Kelly, Brenda and I see Brandon. So she went in and kissed him. But I was like, why would he be leaning in for a kiss you? I didn't really know. It didn't make me feel weird. I don't know. I would have kiss Brandon on the cheek, like we never do that. That would have annoired like a hug. And we go back

because we're jumping around a little bit. So I'm going to say a line to you, and I want to know what your thoughts. So this is when he brings in the tulips. It's the two year anniversary, and I believe someone says, I love of you, and I didn't care what anyone else thought. This is Tor saying this to David. I'm sorry, Donna sayings to David mean yeah, like not to love you. Yeah, even though you're a

big dork, I loved you. Mean, but I assume that's like a constant thing that they've all talked about, like David wasn't cool, wasn't popular, but now he yeah, I get it. I feel like the dialogue in this episode, I mean no offense, but I mean this is probably offensive to the writers, but I can't help but tell the truth. I think it was not great. I felt like the dialogue between Donna and David was weird, and I also felt like the dialogue between Kelly and Dylan

was awful. Literally, you're watching it, and I was watching with my husband and he was like, what, people don't talk like that. I think I made a note saying this writing is a little It was, but you overlook it because you're just so excited to watch them all together, you know, like I was so excited to see Dylan and Kelly to get there that I just yeah, you're right, And I was thinking, like it was this The lure of this show was this was the writing occasional, really

on the nose kind of sappy writing. It wasn't all the time, but there was times when the when the writing just really struck a chord. Was that Do people love that about the show? I think maybe because we all love this episode, we're all saying we love this episode. I don't think writing the dialogue though, it was because of the it was because the wind, it was because of the format, it was because it was about something interesting. But how would you love an episode but hate the writing.

There's no way. So it's sort of like maybe the cheesiness is great, Like people love cheese. We all love cheese, right, but I have to interject, like Jen, even like you don't like sappy stuff, like overly saturated stuff, but there's still lines like that resonate that you do like. So I think it the writing is off here and you tolerate it because because we do like sappy stuff, and we're willing to say like, oh, it's sappy. Like even when you watch the Notebook, you're like, oh that line,

but you like love it. But this one was just extremely not okay. It just felt weird at times. Well, what does this line mean? If you were dumber you would require fertilizer? How is my favorite? But I had to I really overthink that one. What does that mean? You're plants? The plants aren't done? It don't The plants are dumb. Plants are dumb? Are you're as good as I thought? You're dead? You would be dead? Oh? I thought it was eiser like your six ft under wo.

I thought it was a commentary on plants that they don't speak and would you take away, which is really insulting. Yeah, it's not okay. Now I actually wrote one thing here. OMG, they sound dumb, so there must have. I'm surprised that like Jason wouldn't say like, I'm not saying that line. Yeah. He had some weird dialogue too, with a teacher with a professor with with Maryanne. Sorry, uh, we go back to the hair. Go back to the hair, same character

in different episode, different season. I'm trying to keep us in order, go back to the hairbrushing. Okay, well, it seemed like Kelly Kelly was doing her hair. So Jenny, did they tell you, like, okay, go in and do your hair, because you actually were doing it, And you know, I gave myself a little little twist twist up do there. I was actually impressed with my herd. It was I don't think it was hard for me then because I

had such thick hair. And but I just literally made a video of me trying to put my hair up like that because I saw a tutorial on TikTok, so I was trying to do it and it took me like eight tries and I lost a lot of hair. So this is super hard for your TikTok. But I've seen this done before. Somebody is going to have to help you. You do a split screen and you have that scene where Kelly's doing her hair, and then you recreate it now and try to do the exact that's

a good idea. You'll get a lot. But I gotta do that. I love this so much. Remember Jen, when you didn't like TikTok. I still don't really like TikTok, and I feel like everybody's going to go to reals, real, real, real soon. But reals is my preference. See that's very smart. See she's so text like savvy. Not the same she she originally thought that TikTok was for old people, but her mind has been changing out because it was for young people. She didn't do it. Sorry, I'm old, So

I got that wrong scene. How about everybody asking Brandon was Emily Valentine. They had to in case you didn't watch the week before she's gone. They really wanted to. Look. I wonder, is he gonna stay like faithful to her and wait for her to come back? No, she's We don't even know if that's what he said he was going to do, right. We were worried that they wouldn't mention it at all. So they did succeed and mention it,

so that wasn't completely gone. But yeah, no, and they definitely sold back to the fight and Thanksgiving sold back. I don't know if that's a saying no, but we know what you meant. All I know was Brandon all of a sudden was hot to me, Like I was like, he's hot, And then I thought, I wonder when the Kelly Brandon stuff is going to come, because he's you're ready for it I'm ready for it. I agree, But I love Dylan and Kelly in this episode a lot same.

They said they've gotten over the Thanksgiving. Did you notice that Brenda says Thanksgiving? It was weird. I didn't see that. Isn't that what it is? Thanksgiving? She goes Thanksgiving? It was like, just play it back. I'm not being mean. I'm just playing back. Yes, I was just saying, like Dylan was being a big baby. Did you guys feel that way when he got out of bed? Dylan when he was like he did he wanted to hang out with her and she had other plans that the car wash.

I didn't want her to be around John Sears. He wanted to go to Joshua Tree Tree, which I was like, is that going to happen? I'm excited to see that. I know I wanted the car wash. Should we talk about did though? Why why are you guys always eating strawberries though? Isn't that another? Like? I literally agree, I was wondering, and there's sort of he spit something out and they kept it in. Did you guys see that? Oh?

Like a like he had a bad strawberry and he just spit it out and it kept it in some so messy love watching eating scenes with them where she has to feed him or something, because I know, I'm just waiting for her just smash something in his face or do something that's not written in there, and they'll both laugh and crack up, and I'm just waiting for it. You guys kept Dylan's betting is like hideous? Hideous? Yeah? Was that nineties? Like the two of them there, how

are you looking at betting? Like? Wow? Um please, we need to go backwards to the to the restaurant and Brandon talks about when he was at the dim Sum and they add in bed to the fortune cookie and then we had to go around the whole table with everyone's fortune Was that already a thing or was or did you guys invent that? I don't know, Yeah, for sure. All I could think about though, are are male co stars?

And what the rehearsals must have been, like what they were really saying that when they called action they didn't say I can only imagine back then in the nineties. Oh yeah, And Stewart got a little mentioned in this episode. He sort of vanished, but he got a little bit of a shout out. Stewart do you remember when kids when Brenda was like, I don't know, ask who was Stewart asked Stewart how it was in bed? Like it was so crumpy, uncomfortable, I said, I wrote, I roll

the whole in bed made me gag a little bit. Also, why would you ever ever go back to your high school dance as a college kid? Right? They don't even like you? In number one? And weird? Who wanted to do that? Oh? She likes? But was it because she felt like that's where her and David first had a kiss at the day at a dance at school in high school and taking it back since their two years and at first I am I on the right track here now yes, yes, emotionally connected, not like she's like yes.

But first of all, they don't let you in. You can just showed up. Now do you think they're just letting randos into a high school dance because you can go back and visit your high school they welcome that, Yeah, but not at a high school dance and you didn't just come in you think college kids? Second of all, why would you want to? It's just so weird? Yeah? Do you know what else was weird? Yeah, Donna's phone then anyone else like that, I'm like, how do I

get that? How do I find those? Such a nineties corded the lips remember the Lips phone? What was that? And I don't know, let's find it. We need to know the restaurant they went to with the wishes well outside, we need to know how do we buy that phone? And we need to know where do they get those ugly curtains at the keghouse because I've never seen uglier curtains. That's how I feel about Dylan sheets. But I can

see with the curtains. But I loved that kiss. So when everyone leaves and Dylan's going to give Kelly a ride home like that was hot by Delicious, Like, oh yeah, that was awkward when my husband was watching that with me, Sorry babe, he wasn't there. Do you think you would be like a little bit like that's pretty cute? What do you mean? What what I'm gonna get all ripped up? I don't know, just like hot because I get like that guy's a hottie. Yeah, it's good memories, it's good memory. Sorry,

tell your husband. I'm sorry I asked that. But seriously, seriously about Andreas. Now, I know we talk a lot about poor Andrea's wardrobe, but like with the Peter Pan collar and the bad jacket, I don't I don't understand if they're trying to hide a baby bump, why are they Why is she wearing things that like point right to it? I totally agree, I just I feel guilty. I'm going to say that we didn't step in then, because you know, like we step in now like b

hnin two. No, were we stepped in and guided her because she's always like I need help help me, guide me fashion wise. We we failed her. But there's a tired person, a paid stylist. Fashion understood, but still like she needs some friends to be like say no to the stylist. But that it was I felt like that outfit really made the kiss more awkward. I felt like it inhibited her. It just makes no sense, like well, contributing contributes to ultimately the demands of Andrea's character on

the show, and staying longer look older than the whole reason. Yeah, so yeah, it sucks on all fronts. It's weird, like is somebody with somebody out to get her? No? I literally wrote this outfit. She went on to get her own talk show. She was fine, yeah, oh I forgot about that. Are you ready for my serious question? I know we have a lot to cover, but we're gonna talk because now what no, so this way go ahead.

It's just a real debate, a real debate. Okay, it's serious and people are gonna like weigh in because you're talking about Gabrielle leaving, which is coming okay, and this is not this is a curious question, not any kind of like come yellow me for the people that are Team Brenda. What I've been thinking about is this show was on for ten years, right, Brenda chairman was only in it for four Is it hard to be team Brenda when she leaves? Like Brenda? They're right? Like I

had so much more relationship with Kelly, Donna, Steve. Maybe those Team Brenda people stopped watching this show and she left? Or is it because that was like it was the most iconic. I know when people say when I say the biggest because they say iconic, Yeah, they say I say it too much or something like everything but kind And now I'm thinking about Andrea whereas Okay, so you know how you guys always talk about the core group,

the core group. Some of the newcomers were on for longer than the core group, bore a group, original group, how about that? O G. Yeah, but when you think of not to anyone listening, okay, you you don't immediately think of Lindsay or Tiffany or cause grow like you think of the core group. Why. I think Tiffany might be debatable because she was came in the fifth fifth season and was technically there longer than Brenda. So we're talking about Valerie, she might be considered the no on

that one. The rest I agree. I don't even think of Tiffany ever when I think of ninety, but she was on it for longer, longest. Literally perplexed me in the shower, at the entire shower. I was like, I mean maybe other people do, but I definitely agree with you, Like I think of the Twins and then Donna, David, Steve and Andrea same, I tell you I forgot the core O. You're right, You're right. That's why I said it's debatable in people's minds, Like, but and is that

because it was so big with the core group. I think that's when it hit was Yeah, that was when it first made its impression on people with those beach episodes, and that was the group. It just really was like refuddled me because people are very passionate about Brenda right but love or they love or they love her. Well, I want I can't wait to hear from those people what happens after after But you're right, Gen, you said impression, but it's like making an imprint. It made an imprint

on their lives in that Mark was that group. Yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it anyway to do, but underwear, I just want to bring it back. I thought you might like that. He looked real, even the skin toned everywhere all his body skin was very tanned looking looking hairless. Yeah, I'm gonna stop talking now. It's so funny because mm hmm. I didn't have any feelings.

Wait what when you saw him and and you guys were, oh, you didn't, And I wondered because when you're saying him right now, I'm like, it's like looking at someone else like we're talking about and I was like, what's going on? That's my guy, that's my one of my one of my first loves. I think about fourth season where I was personally with him and it wasn't a thing then.

I'm we always kind of came back to each other once in a blue moon over the ten years, but it wasn't that first love that, like everything I wasn't first the fourth season. By then, I've moved on to other boys in my life was gone. So when I'm looking at him now, that's what Yeah, isn't that weird? Was it your fake sneezing that was not necessarily your best acting work? That's how she sneeded? No, I see, it's like a beast, you know that, and nobody sneezes

that much. Wait, I know I'm jumping ahead, but I almost have to say it here the worst line in the whole episode. I'm not going to take my anti hiss to mean tonight, so I take it every night, Like yeah, but you guys, you know what it made

me think of? Like I wasn't thinking it then when you know we were young and teenagers in filming this, But as a forty nine year old woman, having been through a lot of relationships and married for seventeen years, I was like, wow, that's so that's what women do. Like there's not that she didn't intentionally, but there's always gosh, we've been together for a while. You're like, oh, about

my head hurts or something. And the men are like, oh, she doesn't want to have sex tonight, but you're like no, but it's real. But what's the subtext? And I was like even in teens, like they've been together two years, it was like a comment like, uh, they haven't even done it yet, but it's still like old people, old

married couple. There's their door in their underwear though, Like even if the door's ringing right, and maybe you don't know that it's doctor and Mrs Martin, but like even if it's a pizza, are you really doing in those underwear? Lations that's rude and yeah, creepy. I liked it. Wait, speaking of creepy Dan a creepy. It's so gross. Shut the door and go away from Rockery, like that creepy. They were having their awkward, ugly outfit kiss and she

turned her out of there. He was so I was like that hairless poofy though, so he's going out with some dignity. It's such a racist a hole. Is this his last episode? Hopefully? Wait, one more thing we should talk about is when Steve goes to goes to the car wash. He revs up into the car wash and he comes out hot, like he's like it takes a bucket and like dunks it, double dunks it on brook. What's that character's name, the girl she's in every episode? Yeah,

on her head, leslie lelie head. But what I felt like, all that probably hurt her. And in when they when they don't let him play on the playground, it was as if I was watching an eight year old boy and he like turns and stomps off with a little fanny pack flapping it does in real life, so fanny pack, all of it. So and he felt bad from him,

but you're also embarrassed. And then and then when he goes to the kighouse later and he's dressed all in black because he means business now, like I couldn't that's storyline. It really annoys me. When he calls Brandon Brando, I don't know why Too wrote it down such a little bratty friend. Like he's like wants Brandon to go solve his problem. Like number one, dude, you broke into this

dude's office. You're gonna steal this thing, Like you didn't learn anything from the whole key fiasco and then you're mad when you're brandy. Thing to do with it, it's that you were really red, and it's just like, what the hell I mean, it's pretty on brand with his personal I'm just saying that what he does like Steve, No, he Steve is a big baby. He's a big rich baby. Yeah, he's been coddled his whole life by his overbearing mom. Although he's like baby New Year? What was that the

Rudolf about the claymation? You know what I'm talking about? Oh my god, I just aged myself and even more. And the fact that you guys pull up a picture right now, a baby New Year and the claymation Rudolph Snowman. Wait while they're looking on it. I have a few notes. Number one, the crickets were extraordinarily loud at the at the rest straw on. I was like, how even hearing that? Oh we found out the restaurant. Oh what was it?

Wishing Well? The wishing Well in West Plaza of New Chinatown and it's behind the Shang Shangri Law restaurant LA. I don't remember filming that far away. That would have been a big drive to drive home to Westwood that night, and I don't remember you lived in Westwood. Yeah, well, how old was I I don't know. I don't know. If I know, I might still have been at the manor at this point. Mhm, the manner. I wish you were filming downtown, Jen, because if we were downtown, we

would have gone shopping. No, we didn't know, We didn't. I remember that night. We didn't fear off, we didn't do anything in between. Restaurant doesn't seem like it's around you, guys. I don't think we actually filmed there, are you sure? Oh? Wait? Just inside Central Plaza near the West Gates. It's one of the oldest landmarks in New Chinatown, the wishing well. Do you remember eating food? Is this the well? Look? Yeah, that's what it looked like. Okay, we must have been there.

I don't think they could recreate that. I wonder if it's still there. We didn't go shopping, gen, No, I don't know. Well, maybe it was like sight or something. It was when you get the reveal from Lucinda that Steve's been set up, were you like, oh no, I didn't care. I mean all VI he was set up right by John sears like everybody knows what's going to happen. Such a cherk is a douchebag. Wait, so here's my question with the whole with the Martins and Donna and

the doing it? Who's right, who's wrong? Who's where? Do we? Where do we land on all that? Not that you're not there? Do you like that? I'm so sorry because you said a big baby so I was featuring Steve Sanders as a baby stopping. Oh my god, you guys, if anyone thinks I'm insulting, like Iron doesn't have big ears, but it's just the blonde hair on a big baby. The wouldn't have Sorry, Okay, good call, good call. Okay, what are you were you talking about? Like the do

the doing it of it? All this? Should the Martins be pissed? But then they actually sort of handled it so well? Did? I was? Okild her? Is Donna right not to do it? Now? Like just kind of where do we land on all that? All that? Yeah? I mean I don't want her to do it at this point. Yeah, I sort of don't either. I want her to hold out until she's married, honestly, like I wanted to be like that, but I might be disappointed if you end up doing it. Oh man, Okay, well don't watch season eight,

then I guess season eight. Uh, but listen, there's some wait I'm forgetting which scene it is. That they're sitting in the apartment where they where she said she apologized that he's put up with so much. Oh, when she said tonight might be the night, and you put up with very sex. But when she says to him, I'm not saying it verbatim, but the intent was thank you,

you put up for like so much. But there was something like with so much For me, it alluded to more than like at least I felt this way as a female money girl, more than just like waiting on the sex, Like he's put up with a lot, Like she's dealt with all this, Like he hasn't been that great to her. Yeah, what why are you thanking him?

So I'm thanking him and it made me feel like how I felt is that young girl in bad relationships off the show, like apologizing, Yeah, apologizing for myself when I there's no need, there's no need, I can do whatever I want. It's my body, and like thanking him. I was so upset by that, and so I felt it was irresponsible in the writing, well, she says, you must really love me, like because you put up with

waiting so long. Yeah, I didn't feel it. Yeah there was no gesture, she didn't apologize, but I felt like she was apologized touch and yeah, no, I agree. I didn't like it. Thank you because I'm nothing without you. Thank you. Thank you for keeping in your ants and not cheating on me yet like, uh, he was the dork and she like, like genuinely liked him for him and made him cool and have all these cool friends and if it wasn't for me, he would have no friends.

That's right. Yeah, what about that? What about you thanking me for existing? This is the part where I was like, who wrote this? Because I also, I mean, nothing we ever could do could be wrong. I sort of like

the sentiment there. I get what they were sort of trying, but maybe that was just like it wasn't handled in an appropriate way because it's still like I get that she's like, Okay, you waited, and I love you for waiting for me and being patient, But I wish it had been a little more like female like self empowering to love herself that But on the other hand, like I love myself for not being convinced I should do

this and waiting, you know, I I don't know. I feel like Jen, if that was a line today, like you and I would both be like, wait, is there a different way of saying this? We don't feel good about this line? How would you write it today? What would it be? You would acknowledge probably his frustration first, right, lead with a positive and and say thank you for respecting. Yeah, respect would have been Yeah. I was kind of missing like You've been a great partner. We're in this together.

I don't know. For me, it felt so like you eate in and I've been really a pain in your ass and now I'm going to do this for you. Um? I mean, is there some part of them that wanted to write it that way so people like, no, don't do it with them then? And then they don't. No, I don't want to like it with them now. I don't, especially if you you just said he cheats on you. I am not going to be a fan of his longer. I think he does with a girl in a limousine

because you've talked about it before. I want Donna to do it. When Donna wants to do it. I wanted to wait until she's married. I just feel like looking back, you don't want to look back and feel like I did it because I felt talked into it. Like if she's ready, great, she should do it. That's my opinion, But it seems like right now, if she's initially not ready, that's her gut instinct. Go with your gut, because you

can never take that first time back. And if you've waited this long two years with someone you're madly in love with and he's in love with you, like, get to the point where even if it's like a week later in a month, like something you just like mentally prepared for and emotionally I don't know. M hm yea. Yeah, And she is going to stick to her guns and she's gonna get screwed over because of it. But that's life, and I guess that'll be part of our journey. Yeah,

it'll make Donna's stronger. I haven't gotten there yet, so let's stop talking about it. You know, he's irritating me. Lucinda never Lucinda and the Professor, like Lucinda had the opportunity to be such a powerful character that we like her first, you know what's irritating me is the professor glasses. First of all, the feeling glied round like glass. This is literally why he did I actually, I don't want to say I can't stand the professor. And here's why

he acknowledges. He says, when my wife wants something, she comes on hard or whatever. Okay, so you're acknowledging her your wife is so inappropriate to a student, right, But then you're mad at Brandon Like I almost was like, how dare you? I literally wrote, he sucks. The professor sucks Brandon, that guy sucks. Yeah. I was like, wow, Brandon has a set of cojones to stand up to him like that the way he did. But I was so glad he did. It's like so inappropriate. That landed

on me so bad. Like, Okay, you asked, you know your wife like does this? Uh well let's start there. How about that's the problem. Why don't fix that? Right? And Brandon didn't even do it, But that's beside the point. You're why you acknowledge that your wife does this? Is she continuing on in the show? Ah? Why she is right? We're not done with them, I don't think yet. Her outfits are amazing and she's so sweet, but she's I don't like her character, no terrible. I feel like what

she is with multiple people on this show? Am I wrong? I am blanking exactly her like trajectory? But wait, she okay? I mean I'm glad she outed the Kagers for being jerks and and that it was a setup, because she's the one that tells Brandon he knew this, this we knew. I feel like this show is about to get to the point where I'm going to be yelling at the TV. It's gonna get juicy. And that's good. You want to be yelling at the TV. Wait, can we before we

wrap this up? Can we talk about DeShawn for a second? Hot? He's so hot, except I was really annoyed at the one scene where he, like the whole time had his arm up with the book, like where he's like, he gave you a grade. This is about money. Oh, this isn't about race. This is oh, it's not about white black, it's about green m h. But he was like, what was it like his arm position, it was the entire scene. It was distracted. I just wanted to look at his face.

He's hot. Yeah, I was like, he's gonna put his arm down or hold his book back or whatever he's doing. They're like that shoulder you know when your shoulder locks in a position, and he just like frozen shoulder syndrome. He had that. There's a lot of bad news bears going around Lucinda. The professor John Sears was like a baseball Seawan. They're all just they have to have and this for all the protagonists that they have, there's so many, because that's the thing about this show is the main

group of protagonists, the people you root for. They will never let them be so bad that you don't like them anymore, right, right, They're always some way to redeed in them. Step with Ray Pruett, they blew it on that one. He was not. I think that they saw him more as an antagonist. Such a weird move though, because Jamie Walters could have been like he could get a number one song on the radio. He made another

number one song on the show. Like I had such a crush on him and Cameron Bancroft, both of them, when did they come in up? You don't remember Cameron Bancroft five season five? I believe Hey, what season are we on you guys? I believe is Donna going to date to Sean? No? Don't you just go to a dance with him? Okay, but there's something like you might dance with him after there's some date because in my mind I remember seeing and we filmed it at the

beach apartment and David did this already happen? Anyone? I know what you're talking about. Maybe Donna Martin date on our tell is it Alexa or alexis? Uh? I can't say. Maybe that's why mine doesn't. Wait now, did you intentionally gloss over my mention of Cameron Bankron? No, because we haven't gotten to that doesn't like when we go so far ahead, I'm being mindful of my best friend. Please please, please, Amy, I'm sorry. Pardon me? Well, yeah, code, Oh wait, let's

grade it. Let's grade it. So I'm gonna grade it. I was like two things. Hold, I don't want to change the rules. I'm gonna grade the overall episode. But I dislike the professor the most, the most. I dislike him more than I disliked John Sears, I think more than you like disliked Howard Stern. That was just dumb. Yeah, I'm telling you it was related back to the guy and two men wrote this episode. They thought it was funny. They probably to Howard Stern for those real like this

was all like there. How about when they say the wild thing? Could you not say sex? They say so many like what is it called? Like it's sex that Why don't you just say the real thing? Right? I feel I'm very confused about what great to give this, like what I feel like it? You start off, you change your mind that you're breaking it down, like there's so many parts about it that I hated. Yeah, like I want to give the parts that I like one

score and the parts that I did another score. Amy, you can change the rules and Amy went before you went, and I went, I'm blocking it. You can't see it. This is not happening. Okay, tell me when you're ready. I'm ready. Okay, Okay, give weight. I give the parts that I liked, right, Oh good, it's a good score parts that I didn't like? Good? Good? But isn't the sum greater than that? I don't know. I don't see.

But what are you doing? Like Dancing with the Stars, you have to take everything into accountability and the account for it. And then put it overall. It's an overall score, it would from a nine to like a seven. I don't mind hating things. My things like me up. So it's like I gave it an eight and a half because I love it and I love to hate it, which is yeah, I like that, which means the show is doing a good job. Yeah, this is good. Well, I feel like we broke the ship out of this episode.

You guys. I'm gonna say, that's a couple more pennies and go get myself that bar card. Oh girl, you're gonna love it. It's so good. I feel like I can use it outside in the summer. Pull it out, wheel it out. Yeah, super easy. And it's a very very lightweight. Great wheels and locks and the trays I feel like I could use separately if I needed to. Yes, maybe you have the Yeah, they have the things on the bottom that you still use them. You can, you

can still use them. Uh, next week, you guys, Episode fifteen. Somewhere in the world, it's Christmas. Oh my god, it's Christmas. Not another holiday episode, you guys? Really sorry? Good? That means it's Tama's birthday. I wonder if everyone will forget as usual. Great episode. You did a great job. Is Kelly's birthday? I Love you? When is Kelly's birthday, Alexa? When is Kelly Taylor's birthday? Alexis Alexis, Alexis
