It's with Jenny Garth and Tori Spelling. Oh my gosh, OMG, I mean, can you believe it? We're at Waingo Tango. You guys, we are so cool. We are here at Waingo Tango and we are doing our nine O two one OMG podcast sponsored by Nerd tex. So we're super excited. Yeah, there's music happening outside. I don't know if you guys can hear it, but it's definitely happening right now. So my kids are super impressed that I'm here. You didn't bring your kids. I didn't bring my kids. I forced

mine to come, just one. And she's not pleased with me, but she's having a good time. She's like watching over the whole thing from up here, and she's loving it. She's gonna be super excited to see us on stage. Oh my gosh, she's probably gonna sweat. She's gonna be so nervous. Oh my god. Really yeah, because if my mom was going on stage at Wango Tango, I'd be nervous too, can you imagine? No, Oh no, you're right stage,

Oh my god. No. No. Well, we decided that we would do uh this live episode from Wingo Tango and answer some fan questions, take a chance and do this. And we've got a lot of great questions, so many good ones. Oh my gosh, you guys, thank you so much for supporting us every single week. And obviously we do this for you guys and so that we can do this together because we like working together. But thank you and thanks for all the questions. Okay, let's do it.

And the best part is we're gonna have our friend Easton read us the questions. It's your big moment, Eastern, come on. Oh my goodness. I'm such a big fan of the show. It's so exciting to be here. He's never seen an episode. I know. I'm a fan of the podcast to the past, experience the show. No, you have to listen to. Yes, he's our engineering. He does an amazing job because we're not tech savvy. And if

it wasn't for Easton, you guys, you wouldn't have this podcast. Literally, if it was up to Jen and I to set up every week, it would I don't know what would happen. It wouldn't it wouldn't. We Not only can I do the mix, I can also read and write. So if you guys would like to here's one of the questions. Um Taylor Brook asks if you could time travel and play another character on the show, male or female, who would it be. I'd like to time travel, just period.

Can I ask you a question real quick? I keep turning and looking. We're not filming this, No, no, what are you doing? You're looking for a camera because I'm so used to doing the zoom. I know I can't see that far. I think it's a pizza box. Thought it was just oh my god, not a computer. So it doesn't matter what we look like. No, okay, good? Um? Wait the questionable? Do you want to time travel and go back to before you said that? Yeah? I want

to time travel. Wait what was the question? If you could time travel and then play any character on the show, I'm guessing right, who would it be? Oh? Boy, I want to be Um one of the boys for sure, because just because okay, okay, okay, well boy, would you pick? It's a toss up. It's a tasso between Steve. I'd want to be Steve or I'd want to be Dylan.

I think because Steve was always having so much fun and like ad lipping all the time and getting into, you know, situations, I would want to be him, probably because it just looks fun. I want to be a bad like you want to be a bad boy, bad girl because I feel like Donna was such a good girl. What I want to be Valerie. Oh wow, that's a good one. You pull that out of Yeah, because she was just like slept with everyone's first in and like and was like a beach and just like we haven't

gotten to the Valorie. We haven't gotten there. But she was like she was a bad girl Beverly Hill. She came in and she definitely wasn't friendas she was a badass ausin that came in and like screwed everything up. Like so I want to be that character. I like it all right, you can. Next question, did Gabby act like a parent around you guys? Since she was a lot older than you were a parent, does she act

like your nana? No, but not a parent, but she definitely like a big sister, like more like a big sister, more like always kind of two steps ahead of us. Yeah, for sure. Always like I had a bad boyfriend in real life and I was like nineteen and Gab actually if I told you, I've told you this before, like at a therapy session. I had never been to therapy in my life, and she drove me there because she's like, I know you're not going to go there. You're not gonna go, so I'm going to drive for you and

I'll just wait out the side. It's the cutest thing I've ever heard. It was so sweet. So yeah, like in in some ways she was like, yeah, I didn't think it was possible for me to love her more, but yeah, sweet Gabriel, Sweet Gabby. What was your hardest scene in the series, either to act or because of the subject. The hardest scene in the series of all

ten years? How could oh? First of all Kelly, I could not pick one as Kelly, like I've had Kelly eight thousand hard scenes to do, whether it was getting burned in a bathroom, stocked by a lesbian lover, shot in the parking lot, caught up in the cult. I can't I can't wait for the cult episode that was And back then it was weird. I don't remember understanding, Like when it first happened, when Kelly was in a cult, I was like, oh, that was like kind of fun.

And now we look and we're like, oh my god, Like you hear about people that were in colts all the time. You're like, gosh, it's like it's more prevalent now that it wasn't talked about as I know. So I couldn't pick one. Do you have one in mind that would be your hardest scenes? Maybe maybe when you lost your virginity? Would that be? That wasn't hard? That was fun. Um it was any time I had a crying scene. You know, I'm not going to crying scenes.

They always had to use that blower because I couldn't, Like I'm not I have no emotions and kids. True, No, I just am not a big emotional person. And it was always even hard for me to access feelings to cry on camera. And they used to like come in and like, we think this might be our eye problems.

I am blind as a bat. The blower it's the blowers told them about I think so the mental and they blow it right in your eyeball and it's literally like someone's uh like spring will don't have anywhere like with someone It's like it's not edging myself. I don't know like what would be something they would like And that's like it's like someone's blowing Vic's vapor rub right in your eyeballs, straight into them. Imagine that did you ever cut onions to try to do that work, to

try and make it? They don't really have onions on the on the set standing by with the knife and cutting board. The thing is, which is so young you would just hear the director go bring in the blower and you're like what and then like make up with fly in and just like they didn't ask it right in your eye and you're like okay, And then my eyes became immune to the blower. That happen. That happens, you get like, um, what's it? Immune to it? I guess you You build up a resistance to it, and

then they have to blow more. Yeah, that's just with the regular blow to who that happens here you have to do more and more anyway, Sorry, Uh. Do you feel like you'll be forever known as your characters? Yes? Yeah, no, I mean I'm not just yeah, but we'll always be associated for sure, like people will always make the connection. I guess yeah, yeah, but yeah, we're so much more than that. We we know we are like we are.

What's this is my personal question? Um, what's the second most common thing people come up to you on the street, like you know, I'm sure first is oh no, no, two no. But like, what's the second most common thing people say to you on the street. Me? Um, I get a lot of h G t V people. I did a show for each h G t V called The Jenny Garth Project, and I get a lot of people talking to me about that. Which I love that show so much because it was a lot of fun

for me. But um, probably that one that was so good, that house so good? Um? And what I like about you? What I like about you? Yeah, she didn't just have one TV hit like that's the thing, Like, she's like iconic for two huge TV shows Like that's if it doesn't never happen. What do people come to you for? It probably saved them? Really, how many episodes of that did you do? I did like only like five? Yeah, but it was slamable character which his first girlfriend. That

is probably scary movie too. What about trick trick? So do you ever no fans age kind of by what they know you from? Yeah, absolutely, and you know their orientation, you know everything about them, but by what they come to you and say, Oh my god. So if someone comes up to me and they say, oh my god, are you were you in scary movie too? I'm like, oh, you know what, you're in your twenties. Wait, we have to tell them what just happened to us downstairs at

Wango Tango. We're about to go on the red carpet, you guys, it was. We're about We're standing there waiting for our turn to go get our pictures taken, right, which is nerve wracking. You guys. It's not easy. No, it's your You get a little nervous. And this woman, I think she had been drinking. I don't know she had credentials, so I think she was like she are a person. She came up to us and said, people have credentials can drink too. She said, um, oh my gosh,

nobody here knows who you are, but I do. Right before we went on the red carpet, well the pink hot pink carpet. Yeah and yeah. I both looks at each other. We were like, wow, okay, or yeah, they all don't They all don't know who you guys are, we asked, But but we know who you are because we're in our forties. I looked at her, I was like, I don't know who I am either, so it's fine. Yeah, And I just made a joke and I was like, oh, okay, John, I guess we should leave. They don't know who we are.

The only one that can see me. So I felt real good going doing my pictures right after that. Shake it off. You gotta shake it off, um Tori. This question is for you. What is the best and worst part of having played Donna Martin? Oh? My go. The best part is I'm really proud, and especially having kids and and girls now, I'm really proud of playing you know, the virgin that you know at the time, like showed that you could hang onto your morals and still be

cool and popular. And I like that she like wasn't willing to like compromisi and dress brumpy, Like she could dress sexty and be your own person, and she felt empowered to do that. Um so I like being one of the world's most famous visions. It probably went all a little bit too long. You know, when Donna was like twenty six, it was like, okay, time to let her lose her virginity. But no, not she was not old right, that was me. But just the worst part,

there's no, I don't think there's a worst part. I mean some of the hats where we're regretible. I regret, but it is the sunflower huon that one. You weren't on the episode that you wore the sunflower had and I was so upset because I really wanted to talk to you about it. It was a straight up giant sunflower right smack in. When I watched that back, I wanted you to talk to me about that because why, Like I wish I had just said no. I think it was when Blossom was out. It was popular, true,

so you were just on trend. But you know me, and you know the things I'm comfortable with and not comfortable with, and you know has never was one of them, know, so you do like a good sunflower, So maybe that was it. Okay, What did you like filming more? The high school episodes or the college years? Gosh, I know what you're gonna say, college years. I'm going to go with college years too, because we got to live together in our beach house or beach apartment. That was our favorite. Yeah,

that was fun. That was so fun. That was better after high school is always better. I'm gonna be honest, I really don't know because I haven't seen the ship. We haven't gotten to the college years yet. You're going to be really excited. I'm gonna like it. Okay, so I hope. So yeah, this might be a hard one. But what's your happiest memory from the whole ten seasons? Happiest memory? Did you pick one happiest memory of all ten seasons? Good? Goodness gracious, Um, that's you stumped us

right there with that question. Who sent that question in? That's Katie Anderson, Katie, Katie, Katie. That is that's like, that's like asking Katie, what is the favorite memory that you've had and since you've been alive? Um, maybe she has one, and so that's why she asked it. She was like, I'm literally flashing through moments, but I wouldn't say that any of them are my favorite top five? Okay, well to be the best, but crap, you're looking at me and I got nothing nothing blank. Um. I mean

we we always loved doing scenes as a group. Yeah, whenever the whole group was together, like a good a good group in a dance at a dance scene where we all danced, so they were fun. Um. We always loved peach Pit after dark scenes because we got to listen to good music music and usually sit down because we were sitting at tables. So that was always, you know, that was something. We're gradations, the worst these are. The graduation was fun. I don't remember that at all. Sure

we threw up our hats. Yeah, okay, uh, I don't know. Sorry, Sorry, Katie, we failed you. I think there was a great answer. Thank you for sharing. Um, do you have anything from the set? Close accessories, something from the house. So I think you have something for me. I have a present for you today. I brought it, didn't I I brought you a present from Crystal. She sent sent it. She brought it to my husband's restaurant, and he brought it

home to me. And it's a present for you. And you're going to be so excited when you open it, because it's so excited. It's a memorabilia. It's something from Donna's um lifetime. It's right there. Oh my gosh. Okay, So it's it's one of my favorite outfits, the Donna war It's the baseball dress. And I literally tried to find this to like buy it on, like not the

one I wore, but just like another one. I think it was either Muskino or Nicole Miller, and I just love that dress and I couldn't find it and Krystal has the original one. Yep, am I going to be sad because it's not gonna fit me? I don't know. I'm not sure you can make it fit. Okay, Crystal, thank you so much. I am going to attempt to put it on and model it and take a picture for you, and if that doesn't work out, I will just hold it up. Yea, what, Oh you have Kelly's

cowboy I do. I have Kelly's cowboy boots that I still wear to this day. Oh my god, that's so cool. Yeah, remember we used to the baby doll dress and the cowboy boot. Look, that's that. I have those boots and I love them. So when you wear them around town, do people stop me and say, oh my god, those are Kelly's No, No, said, like we're big deals Smithsonian. I don't think that. I don't neither. I mean, come on, come on, this is a this is a culturally defining show,

and I think the boots belong. I think belong. Okay, where do you think your characters would be today? Rehab? What Kelly had a lot of emotional damage over the years. I think she would definitely be in some high therapy sessions. We have talked about this, especially when we did the reboot, because we wanted to like look ahead, you know, where the characters were. So we have endlessly talked about this.

And you think you and Brandon, right, we're married. I would like I would like get if Brandon and Kelly were married and had a couple of cute kids running around. Yeah, that would be fun. You know what they say, twins running the family. So maybe you have twins. Oh my god, I imagine, Oh my god, wait, we'd have oh my god, that should be a show about the twins about like, oh my god, he's been off. Jason will go for it. No, he doesn't want to talk about the show. Tori, where

would Donna be? So I, oh, I can't help but go back to the other nine two. Woh the gend did twenty two episodes of The Youngster One. Yeah, okay, it's nothing Youngster One anymore. No, Well, they were young when they made it. They were young. We were younger too, but they were really young, and they kind of spun it off with your sister, your stepsister Aaron. So it was silver right right, and that was like her and then you were on it and Kelly was a guidance school.

I was a guidance counselor at their school, which but they just wanted you. We get it for story reasons. They wanted you there. But I think higher for Kelly, Like I just think she would be like there, you could be a great therapist. She could. Kelly had gone through so much. I feel like she was in a place, but like I feel like she would be, Like where would Donna be? I don't know where? You were a fashion mogul? I was, yeah, I was a fashion designer.

Jan remember the story. Okay. So they said to me like, okay, like you can help, you know, guide us. What is Donna doing that? Where has she been? What's her backstory when we bring her back on the show. And I was like, oh, well, you know she's with David and like he was doing music, but Donna was always into fashion designing. And they were like, okay, we like that storyline. And they were like where did she design? Like Europe?

And I was like not like everyone like designs in your I was like Japan And I regret it doing that because then when they came on the show, they made me speak Japanese. They were lines in Japanese. I was like, and I couldn't. That is a hard language. And I was trying to memorize it. And I was sweating because I was on somebody else's show and I was like, do a good job. And I just had a baby, and I was like, why did I say

your band? Dang it? Um? But anyway, when Donna came on the show, she had one baby, Ruby and her and David. I didn't like that they were writing her and David were separated, maybe getting into divorced. I don't even remember that. I don't want that to happen. No, so I feel like we can like that never happened. But there has to be Ruby, or it does not to be Ruby. I forget Ruby. So Donna and David, Okay, I have five kids, and really you want that on on TV two? You already have that in real life.

I do. But I just think it's so bizarre that Brian now will have a fifth baby, that Donna and David should have five. Yeah. I guess you're right. I'm just saying right, five number five We had to count on our fingers I do. I don't know how to do mouth, but um, yeah, all right, well I think that answers the question. Uh, um, Jenny, did you name Luca after Luke? I shoot that I could have because I did have Luca on the set basically of the show back in the day. Um, No, I did not

name Luca after Luke. That's a great question. Interesting that that didn't even make that Yeah, Luca. I actually thought that before in my life, to like, did I name subconsciously name my daughter after Luca? But I don't think that I would have done that. Luca came from an Italian uncle of her dad's, so that's who was named after. Who it was named after his child, and now she goes by Luca, but she was always Luca Bella, Lucabella's name. To say Luca Bella rhythm there. Um, Okay, I'm sorry

this one. This one's very heavy. If Luke we're still here, which episode would you have wanted him as a guest of our podcast? Which episode? Yes? We want him on every episode? Probably you mean what we would love to talk to him about? How I would love to talk to him about now, just having watched the third season and all this love triangle stuff. I would love to talk to him about how he felt about it and what if he had a different opinion about it now

looking back than he did then. And I'd also like to ask him, did you really say did you call me the Blonde? Because I don't. I don't know, it's weird. I can't imagine I'm saying, Oh my gosh, he'd be so funny. He'd be so funny on the show. Yeah. We we would want him on every episode and that would be a great show. Um, we are we have one more question. One last question is from Chet Flemington. That's a cool name too, Tory. When you use a fake name for your audition, do you think people knew

who you really were? Yeah, I mean it wasn't too hard. What was your fake name? Tory Mitchell? Which was a show my dad had just done, um god, Hollywood Housewives or something. It was a Jackie Collins novel that they turned into a mini series and Heather Luckler was on at his Lucky Benny and yeah, it was Tory Mitchell. So I thought it was Dory smelling because that was like a joke I made up when I did my show. So notorious. I was like, no, who I am? It's

Dory smelling or smelling whatever. I like that. I like that one. Imagine if I just checked in the hotels, is Dory smelling you should? Nobody would find you? Okay, I'll see another question here, Um, who was your favorite boyfriend aside from the O G characters? I know who was my favorite boyfriend of Donna's the cowboy guy? Oh, she loved Greg Vaughan. I did a little have we know he hasn't been on yet. We are not to that episode. We're not there yet. He was the firefight.

I don't need to have him on the show. Why you was called the cowboy? He was a firefighter. I don't know what I think of I can see him and that too was maybe he like maybe, I really he was a cowboy. It was a cowboy to me, not really. I mean one, Oh my goodness, and my gracious, I think it would be Jamie Walters, who played Ray Pruett. And just because we were such good friends in real life and we had so much fun together, like yeah, he just means like I just laughed with him every day.

So that I know who You're going to say? Who? Who am I going to say because I got my Fielding? Oh yeah, yeah, Matt was that his name, Matt Fielding, Daniel Daniel, Daniel Cosgrove. It was at Matt Fielding. I don't know what he know, Matt Derning Journey, Mad Fielding. I think that's from Miller's place, and that was It's Mad Darning, the attorney at law. It is right. Yeah, we loved him. I loved him. He made me laugh endlessly and just don't know. We had so many funny

times on the set. Like recently we've seen him in like really like dramatic roles. But seriously, you guys, he could have given Jim Carrey a run for his money. I auditioned him for what I like about you, I think at some point, and he came into the room and he did the splits in the audition and I was like, oh my god, I love you so yeah. Yeah that was mystery girls when that was why were you there for some Why do I have the worst memory? I thought it was you probably did audition for that too,

but he wasn't. But I just remember he came in and read with you because he read for your husband. Why didn't he get the part. Why didn't he get the parts? And you came back and I was like, how is it? Was he funny and he was like you were like, oh my god, he did his old tricks and yep, I didn't disappoint. I guess that's it. That's all. That's all the questions we have. It's fun. Yeah, we gotta go. We gotta do more. We we got to go on stage, you guys, and we gotta go.

Wango our tango. Can we say who we're presenting to? We're representing to anyone word show. It's this is a concert. We're introducing someone. Oh, I don't get to open the envelope, just no envelope and that would be and the Oscar goes to sorry, I just I always wanted to say that, thank you. We can imagine. No, I think, um, we're going to go out and introduce, introduce okay you yeah, so let's do that. Oh my gosh, that's the last question.

Last question. She answered all the questions, you guys, thank you for sending them in. That was fun, good questions. A lot of those we've never been asked. I love it when we get a question that we've never been asked. So do that and more bring us some questions that we've never been asked before. Um. Thanks you guys for listening. We sure do love you, we really do. We wish you could see us right now because we're all dolled up, which is rare. The gals are out on the town.

Oh my goodness. Guys, thanks for dealing with us every week. We do appreciate you. You
