It's nine with Jenny Garth and Tori spelling Cople. That's my imitation of a turkey's adorable. Well, I want to try now, I said, I still had yours in my head. Give it a give it a good go nice? Is that right? Wait? You just pulled out your neck to make the gobble sound, and then it stayed there for a second. It stayed there for a second because ps, I'm old. And that's what happens when you pull your skin. Now, it sticks for a second and you're like, and then

it snaps back. I'm not Eventually it'll just stick there. I'm not going to pull that skin out. Oh my gosh, you guys doing this because it's Thanksgiving. We love Thanksgiving. This is a nine o two one oh mg, Thanksgiving episode. Jennifer Eve, I'm really grateful for you. Ah, you're so sweet. I'm grateful for you too. Thanks we got each other. Did I tell you we have a turk in? You have a turken as in in your backyard? Yes? And a turkin is a cross between a turkey and a chicken. Correct.

I thought it was apropos to talk about our turkins. There's two sorry, Turkin's Day stella hatched turkins, a turkey and a chicken. I don't know. A farm had both of them, and they had eggs because they had somehow one that fertilized the egg of the other. And how do they know how do they know who fertilized what? See? I'm not sure. I'm not sure if the father's the turkin or if the mothers that. I don't know. But the point is they look exactly like a cross between

a turkey and a chicken. They're all fuzzy and cute like a chicken, and then they have completely bald necks like a turkey. And that's how they were born. Poor things, and they're really mean, and I think it's because they have an identity crisis. Chicken. But this week they should be happy and call themselves chickens because it's the turkey week. Yes they should. They should be very grateful that they have got some chicken in them and nobody's going to

eat them. Yes, that's right. Nobody would eat them at your house anyways, nobody would. You're not gonna kill your turkeys for dinner, oh my gosh. Never. I mean some people do. They raise their own turkeys and then they bikes are next. Was that sound again? Yeah? Oh my goodness. Yeah, like Tom Turkey. Why is there always a Tom Turkey? Could Theresa Turkey? There's a Tory Turkey. They're wait, okay,

so what are your thanks getting plans? Um? The thanksgetting plans this year are we're going to cook a little bit, and then our neighbors are going to cook a little bit, and then we're going to kind of roam around the cul de sac just eating, just eating, going from house to house and sharing what each other has cooked and baked. That's so cute. But you should be happy because you won't have me running in the last minute throwing my green bean bundles into your oven and being like we

have to cook these for thirty minutes. Oh my gosh, good the green bean bundles. I'll never forget them. Nope, we should make that one of our products, for sure, green bean bundles. Green bean bundles. Didn't I try to make something with like a faux bacon fruit some for you? They didn't turn out. You tried to wrap the green bean bundles in poe bacon, like like to faky bacon or something. Yeah, yeah, they weren't great. Okay, I asked you what your plans are. Don't you want to ask

me what my plans are? I do? What are your plans this Thanksgiving? Nothing? I don't believe you. I got no plans. You always do something this year? Okay, so many of you know, maybe maybe you don't. I don't know. My um. I share my daughters with their dad and his family is in New York, so we're supposed to do every other year, you know, switch up the holidays. I don't know. It's the worst thing ever to have

to share your holidays with someone. But my girls are going to be going to New York, which there two of them already lived there, the other one's really excited to go. Fianna is excited to go. Um, and they're gonna be taking their new baby brother. Two uh Thanksgiving dinner this year with my ex in laws, So it's weird. I'm not gonna lie that. That was very authentic. People like that. That's the truth, right. I'm struggling with it

and not gonna lie. Um to the point that I had That's why I just literally have no plans because I don't want to do anything. I don't want to celebrate really, I think Dave, my husband, and I will um. We've talked about just getting in the car and going for a drive and ending up maybe in New Mexico. You plan to do that with me? You said you'd drive to New Mexico with me. I did, Yeah, some part of Mexico. Wait. Now I feel like the worst friend ever because we haven't even discussed this, and we

usually discussed this every year. In fact, we've had Thanksgiving dinner together before our families because I didn't have anywhere to go, and you took us all in, all of us. M Do you and Dave want to come over? Gee? That was authentic? No, I honestly swear to God, I didn't know, and I now I feel terrible and terrible if you want to come over, because there you know you have the connection with the neighbors because they have

your too many horses. Oh, Ashley, you can come if on your drive by, if you just want to stop by any time there's yor Friday. Okay, I'll put that down, I'll throw that in the middle. I'll buy you a bag of Dorito's and some caramel Eminem's. Okay, those I'll take. Okay, what are you grateful for this year. I'm grateful that the years almost over because like we've had a lot of sickness this year. It's just like your family has

all had like so many sicknesses this year. Like people are like your kids are never in school, Like, well there's five of them, so every time they go to school, there's the likelihood that they're going to bring something back, and they do and then it goes through the entire house and it's brutal and then you know me, I get it the worst. Okay, wait, can we go back to the drive you might take what will you make like anything? Um? Thanksgiving ish? No, we don't eat turkey,

so what no stuffing? I'm not cooking it all this year? Um, because I bake pies for Dave's bar, the Douglas l A and Um, I baked ten pumpkin pies a couple of weeks ago. So I'm kind of over it already and I'm not gonna make or bake or cook anything. And we're just gonna wing it and I'll do Christmas dinner this year. Um, I forgot about a pumpkin pie? Can I hire you to bake one? One more pie? No?

I'm just kidding. Hi everybody, I'm Tyler Florence and I'm Wells Adams, were the host of the new podcast Two Dudes in the Kitchen. You might be asking yourself, why do these guys have a podcast? Because we love food. You and I have known each other for a while. We've got a chance to click together on television on Food Network back in the day, and uh, I gotta tell you, there's no two better guys are more equipped to take you guys on a journey through the kitchen.

It's all about great recipes, it's all about connecting with fantastic techniques and having a great time. Why you're doing it. It's a podcast for you, for you to call into give us your feedback, and we're here to answer your questions and kind of get those kitchen burners fired up. I got a lot of questions just because I'm not nearly as good of a chef as you are, So I'm gonna be asking you a lot of questions, and you guys out there can ask him as well. It's

gonna be a lot of fun. We're gonna learn a lot and you know what, most importantly, we're gonna eat good. We're gonna eat good, Man, eat good in the neighborhood. Man, we're here for you. Listen to two Dudes in the kitchen on the I Heart radio app, Apple podcasts or wherever you listen to podcasts. I'm going to have a Christmas party, I think this year, so I'll let you know about that. No, thanks, Maybe I'll give him. Maybe I'll invite maybe a white elephant party. Yes, we'll do

a white elephant her. White elephant parties are the best. And you can bring your dick cheese balls tray whenever. I can't say that. Guy, you could probably say that, but that means something else, because dick cheese is something else. That's no. I mean, you know, she made We've talked about this. She made a tray. I don't think we've had. We've talked about it on everywhere. I said, you have to bring something for like the party food, right, That's

what I said. And then you brought tell them what you brought, right. I handmade her a charcuterie board, which she didn't believe I'm made it, and and I'm like, who else would make this? And um it was. I basically made cheese balls with like almonds and there were two balls, so they were nutty nutty balls, and then a penis

which was which was the salami. And then I had cut up meats and cheeses and things around it, and I tried to make it kind of like old fashioned like they would make in the seventies, so it was like almost like a seventies porn charcoti board. It was. It was a looker. We have pictures. It was really good. I feel like I could sell those and do well with them for bachelor at parties or something. You know. I think it a cheese, but it was. It was

a looker, I will say that. And even even the penis like had was shooting out a little Okay, all right, that's enough. We're not going to talk about that cheese. Nope, this is Thanksgiving. Let's go back. Why did I even open that door? I'm so sorry people. Oh but what did I bring for your white elephant party? What did you bring from Costco? A ginormous crab claw with all the fixings? Who brings a claub crab claw? Cloud claw? A crab claw? By the way, it was of the

highest quality, so it was a really from the time. Hey, Costcow has good stuff. Don't mess with the costco um. It was a ginormous one, because why not people caring like, oh, like what I wanted your at your white elephant party, which like Christmas, I still have them because I never threw anything away. I think they're ever here. Christmas tree candles like literally ones or snowmen was wrapped up. Do

you still have them? From our friends? One of our friends got in a fight with somebody at your party. Who was that Mike chest but just like because he didn't get what he wanted. Well, one of your friends brought his wife's like antique, like a major antique. Oh that was so cute. It was like a bar was cather and you opened it and there was crystal glasses hanging inside of it and like a decanter. It was beautiful. Oh you guys, it was major. It's probably like a

thousand dollars and more. And his wife was like, what do you mean you brought that? And he's like, well, we never use it, and she's like, it's it's an antique. So that was kind of funny. And then you know, you can steal presence at a white elephant party. So our friend Mike got this and he was very proud of it, and then someone stole it and he actually got mad. Did he leave the party? He threw a tizzy and he left. Yeah, but he's still mad about that.

But I'm pretty sure. Sorry, Mike, you're listening, he's not listening. Let's be honest. Well, I'm just excited about the holidays, like I'm excited abou Thanksgiving for everybody else, Like I'm excited my girls get to go and have this great experience. And I just wish I got to be with him, but I don't, which is fine. Dave and I will do our own thing, will carve our own way, get it carved, and then um, maybe it'll be better for Christmas. I know it will be because we'll have a party

and a dinner and it'll be fun. Is part of you a little bit happy not to have to clean up after Thanksgiving dinner? No, because usually when I cook, my sister cleans up or someone else cleans up, not me when I'm there. No, definitely not you. You not a Thanksgiving. But I remember the Christmas party. After the fun of the cheese balls plate and the gift giving, you proceeded to get drunk on my couch and he started smacking. Came and do you remember, Uh nope, but

that's what that's what Terry does. It was so far. People get disappointed if Terry doesn't show up. So at some point and I went home without part of my clothes because you had to give me back my kimono. So that happens. That's what friends are for. That's what holidays are for, enjoying yourself, having cocktails with your friends, eating too much. I am super grateful though, even though I don't have plans. I'm just super grateful that my

girls have plans. Um, everybody's healthy, and everybody's happy, relatively happy, and um, you know what, there's nothing to be unthankful for exactly exactly. Stella is excited to bake. Stella is your little protege in the making. So there'll be a lot of mess for me to clean up because she's not a good clean because you know where she gets that from. That's okay, okay, before we go, what is your favorite going? Yeah? Soon? What is your favorite thing

to cook for Thanksgiving? Like, what's your dish? Well, you know it's the green bean bundles. Yeah, well those are famous for other reasons. Now for those are famous for not being cooked. Listen, it was a new oven for me. I had to travel an hour I get to your house. It was I envisioned you bundling the green beans on the way here and wrapping them in the bacon as Dean was driving. That's what I did. You have a

camera in my car? Why, I'm sure. I'm pretty sure there's still some green beans under your seat your car. Oh my gosh, listen, I'll take a picture of them this year. They turn out fabulous when they don't have to be transferred to someone else's house. They're super cute. Um. You know what I always get every year and never use is the turkey butter. Does anyone get that they the turkey shaped butter in the market. I've ever, like

a scam seen that. Oh my gosh. Every year I see and I say the same thing, Oh, it's so cute, And I buy the butter in the shape of a turkey, and then it stays in the fridge and I forget about it. We never use it. And then I do the same thing on Christmas. I buy the butter in the shape of the Christmas tree and then forget about it. What grocery store. Do you shop at My grocery store doesn't have shaped butter things. Oh yeah, you're not looking.

They don't have it like out on display. It's like hidden. But if you know it, you look for it, you'll find it. Am I right, people, I'm gonna look for it. I'm gonna look hard, even though I'm not having Thanksgiving dinner. I mean, get me a turkey butter. I want to see photos of you're holding that turkey butter driving across the New Mexico line. I'll take him with me. Oh my god, So that's your favorite dish for things Thanksgiving?

Your turkey butter too? Yeah? What's yours? Um, gosh, corn pudding? Probably that would be. That's family's faith corn pudding. Oh my gosh, I'm gonna have to get that recipe. Yeah, it's good corn pudding. I make vegan now and it's just as delicious. She does make really great vegan stuff. I wasn't a believer to like taste her stuff, and then I'm a believer in moderation. You know what else, We are just super grateful for all of our nine O two and OMG listeners out there, and we want
