It's nine O G one with Jenny Garth and Tory Spelling.
Omg, we are back for another episode.
I hi, wow. Last week we were on such a high.
It was so hot.
It was week not so much.
Oh really what I don't know? I was left to have?
Oh my gosh, I was I.
Wanted to see the continuation of the fire. I wanted to see them like we're breaking in, wheeling Kelly out and whaling Alison out, you know, like.
That would have been too expensive.
I felt like they on the on the fire episode, so this episode was like cheap, cheap.
I got a huge shout out, though.
It really did. That's a good call, Jenny. I actually think you're kind of right. I would have liked that, the excitement of that, the action, and they could have just filmed it when you were shooting the other one, or just.
At least go back to you know where they were, and then cut to.
Because what if you didn't see last week's.
Yeah, you have no idea what happened.
Nothing. I would have liked to see you in the bathroom and then breaking. I mean, I guess it probably wouldn't have too hard to do, but I think they could have done it, I would actually would have been.
I mean, we should probably fill people in because we always just do this. We're talking you guys about season five, episode fourteen Injustice for All and it aired on December fourteenth, nineteen ninety four.
Synopsis.
Kelly wakes up in the hospital to realize Alison is covered in third degree burned. Steve thinks he got burned by the justice system until Jesse tells him.
To check his privilege.
Brandon confesses he's still in love with Emily Valentine, and Dylan returned from rehab to find a mysterious letter from his little sister.
Erica, directed by our old pal Michael Lang and written by Karen Rosen, another old pal.
I'm not disappointed in this. I even forgot until you said it all that there's so much juice in this.
I was like, shatter Ron, I don't know the burn thing. WHOA Okay, let's just start with that, because it's pretty much the first thing that you see is well, first you see a guilty bastard named Brandon Walsh.
Oh God, the waiting room. Yeah, he looks cute, though.
This looks cute, but it looks like a scoundrel because you can tell he's just riddled with guilt and like hanging his head. You know.
You see I touched his knee.
I didn't notice it was a little much.
It felt like that.
I was like, oh, I get to touch Jason Priestley. So I'm just gonna keep caressing his knee. You were comforting her as a comfort in very own way.
I mean, and my thigh eyes. Okay, yes, sorry.
But then we go inc Kelly and she is not. I wanted her to be burned more. Sorry to say stop, I wanted more burn Ye.
Your ears hanging off?
What do you mean? Yeah, the first the first time you see her ear looks a little gnarly, a little gooey, and.
Grass in their neck.
Yeah, but nothing. No hair was burned in this whole situation, which I was happy about.
Your face not as on me.
Wait, but uh, there's burn's other places because you have you have the other hand wrapped up, which is okay, So.
You burned this side of your face, but your hand burned on this side, down your neck.
There might be some body burns that that she doesn't want to show anyway.
Brand won't let us see right, you let Brandon see it. So we don't really know.
Wait do we find out? Wait, not to mind yet.
Did you think it was weird that Kelly's burns weren't covered by gauze, Like she left the hospital all bare, like no gauze on her neck, and then she's at home with no wrapping.
I mean, I gotta say that wouldn't happen, right, And I know this from first hand experience because I had third degree burns and skin grafts from the Benny Hauna experience.
So this episode is super triggering.
But because I was in there for like six weeks, like I know, like all of this wasn't really handle of completely up to par.
That's what I thought.
Wait, you were there for six weeks, it was bad. Yeah, I feel like Kelly would have been in a lot more pain.
Yeah, a lot more pain, especially if she had more body burns. Yeah.
Did you know you talked very clearly to the nurse.
Yes, you then when you told uh Brandon that you were on medication, then he didn't sound.
So clear, right, Yeah.
Well they must have just you know, dosed her up right before brand came in. You have that little thing they have those that a little drip you can push.
Yeah, so she's like, but oh my gosh, omg. When she goes in to see Alice, yea crispy Crispy Fried, like, oh, that was.
Like some Freddy Kruegers.
That was.
It's interesting how much work she was they were in there together.
Okay, that's my question. I mean, I know it's the lead. They're not going to burn her.
Like you more seasons, But in all fairness, can we just imagine how it happened?
Did she take like did she like cover you up and just run through the flames? What happened?
Or could they only take one out at a time? And and Kelly went, are we going.
To find this out? Amy?
I'm still not clear why they didn't just go out the window, because it's been brought to my attention.
We talked about this.
Is it really small? No, it's like like body sized. You could have made your window, you guys, it was.
A window that I think somebody could have shimmied out of.
Yeah, so we'll just pretend like that wasn't there, And I I don't know, she must have she must have done something heroic to save Kelly from burning the way she did.
That's going to go with, Hey, we're going to talk about karma and be like, well, she said God saved her, So maybe Allison had some karma she was dealing with and Kelly is an angel, so she got out, Yeah, a positive attitude.
I know, geez, she's all happy.
She's way better than Kelly.
Kelly is, like, because her drugs must be even better than what Kelly got. That's why she's so happy right now.
Yeah, I just was like, I don't think they don't seem like they're in enough pain.
No, they'd be so ill, like that would be So I've like burned my finger a tiny tiny bit and I can't function and.
Be lain sick. It's worse than childbirth. It's worse than anything.
It's I don't think I've ever tried to think.
I mean, I've had a gajillion like burns from cooking and baking, but not ever anything like you've had.
You never know, t you know, and then you feel like and Donna's like I got a first degree burned with an iron ones like, so what it was like foreshadowing? Yeah, the skin graphs poor Alison skin graphs. So in order to do a skin graph, they have to take it from another part of your body. But she's covered head to toe, so I'm not sure where they're taking it from unless they do like a cadaver skin.
I did like how you're doing? How you really doing? I was, I was like, yeah, how you really doing? And I like her girlfriend?
Her girlfriend is I know, I want to hang out with him.
I know, but I think it's going to happen.
Do you think she gets is she and more? Does Alison get out of the hospital and too wady?
R m h.
Yeah, Well that's good.
I'm glad she gets out of the hospital. I mean they're gonna have to really well you'll see this track her, You'll have to see you're scarring.
Mmm.
So how do you feel about Kelly and Brandon and sort of their interactions.
In this Well, I felt like Brandon, well, of course, being young and male, he didn't know what to do, how to handle the situation, probably, but he wasn't that kind or I felt like he was a little rude, like kind of.
A d you know what he he's ad I you know what the whole episode?
Yeah, And is it his guilt? This may him be it be that way?
Or is he does he not? I don't know. He's a cheater. Cheater pumpkin eater like he's so bad.
He's torn, but I mean but torn.
And cheater cheater pumpkin eater. Like he's not porn He's kiss was a kiss.
He's acting on it, yeah, while his girlfriend's you know, in pain and it's not a good look. Brandon.
It's so bad. He's cheating on her, which is bad enough, while she's literally like severely injured.
And what is he doing back at Emily Valentine's hotel.
He's torn.
Now, that's not torn, that's making a decision. He took action and drove his ass all the way to Emily Valentine's hotel to what.
Cheater cheater pumpkin eater.
Yeah, one more time, say it one more time.
Altogether.
Now he's a little like I wrote jerk because I didn't want to write I wrote jerk because I was like, I don't want to write the I see on my paper.
But I was like, what Dick I.
Said, I wrote, Brandon isn't being very nice. That's what I.
Guys.
I just was like, I can't believe that the producers or anyone studio, whoever, network would let this their main character. Brandon Walsh do this.
That's interesting because they didn't.
They were always so careful with, you know, the integrity of all these characters, so that they made small mistakes, not huge mistakes, and they learned a lesson from them.
And I'm not sure that.
I'm not sure I would call Dylan a small mistake. He's like a heroin Addict.
All the cliff right important that the that the leads that the main characters have tragic flaws, like they're not perfect, they're real, and this is real, these things happen.
I just for me, it was the Brandon. I didn't it's Brandon. He doesn't do things like that.
That's right. He's acting out of character, I know.
And I was so turned on by him Odeley because he's a bad boy. Finally, wait, is this wrong? I'm just saying you guys, yo, that's true. You have to like have a comeback like he can't.
Can we analyze this for a second, Oka, Yeah, So let's think about last Thanksgiving when he went to San Francisco. They actually really were in love. So there is one aspect of this that sort of tracks for me, Like had he just been like no, I'm not gonna even.
You know, talk to you.
Then I would have been like, well, maybe he didn't actually love her. The fact that he sort of she's reappeared and he is feeling all these feels is a little bit okay, okay, but it's just so cheater, Like.
Dude, I just I think it. Oh God, I'm gonna have to quote Emily Valentine. I think unfortunately, because I didn't understand this line when she said it, something about it all about timing or something.
Oh yeah, that was a lot of that.
Just remember try and remember one very important thing. Timing is everything, and Brandon didn't really remember that in that moment, because that was bad timing on his part to go be with Emily Valentine while Kelly his girlfriends.
And what do you make of her coming to see you?
What was that about? What was that after all the heels of making out?
Yes, I don't tell him, I was here, okay, Oh my gosh, you guys.
As a fan, I was like I wanted to see Kelly and Emily like sorry, Like I was like, oh, they're both right here, like you know, but she.
Came and it wasn't like it wasn't an honest conversation. It was like why what is her motive there?
Thank you? That's what I was going to say, Jenny, what are her intentions? Like, was she being wormy or was she actually being like, don't be mad at him?
Or was she going to tell the truth.
I don't think she was being shady.
You think she was just coming to see how she was and to sort of say he loves you. I'm out?
Yeah, fair No, maybe the kiss, maybe the love time wasn't so good this time with Brandon, and so afterwards she was like, eh, you can have him.
Or she's like it's not our right time and you can be a soulmate, but it's not the right time on this journey or maybe ever and.
Maybe are we too? I mean if Dylan, what would.
Happen if Dylan like would suddenly be like profess's undying love right now like.
Kelly wouldn't.
I don't think she would.
Oh it would be hard. I see your point. Please you love and Brandon loved Emily Valentine the way that Kelly loved Dylan. I, however, didn't invest enough in that relationship with Brandon and Emily to fully feel that feeling as a viewer. As a viewer, okay, and so it, but at the same time as a viewer, she left and I was like, wait, where'd she go? The love of his life? He said, he's waiting for.
You've brought it up many times over the year.
Mm hmm.
And so.
To assume they did more than kiss.
I'm gonna go with yes.
Okay, I'll go with yes.
I was sort of torn on that, but I think now that I think, I think so youth.
We could be wrong. He could come back and then the truth could come out and it could be, oh, we just kissed, we made out, it wasn't.
I wudn't trust me if he just said that, right, I don't believe at this point.
On that topic, the scene that I actually really liked was when Brandon goes to see Dylan. So, first of all, Kelly's on the phone with Dylan and they see each other. Yeah, I love what he says, methinks, does me too much?
Interesting?
Because me, yeah, me think it's I mean, it's me think me think the lead doth protest too much?
I think the lady But he took the lady out.
My note was stupid scene. Also, I said, I don't like the way they're seated on that weird bench what who.
Was my favorite scene in the whole.
I love him so much because I could feel their honest friendship and chemistry and it was just and.
We haven't seen them like that life and they were so cute.
Finish the sentences like soul me.
How is M? Like? Why did he call her M? How is M? And then they're talking me think thou doth protest way too much? You doth? Or whatever? He says something and then he says to you doth. I was like, oh God, who wrote this? It's so I'm like, what do you mean?
People say that all the time. To this day, you never hear anyone say that, not on nine Oh you think the lady doth protests so too much?
I hear it all the time, but you hear that all the time. Yeah, but it was the you doth not anymore?
But I wait, did people have said this expression to you? Me thinks the lady doth protest too much?
My ex said it to me all the time.
About I was starting to read what you were putting down there, Tori.
I was all the time I heard this.
That's why I know were you doth protesting?
It wasn't me, It wasn't about me.
It was whenever there was somebody like talking like, oh, he would say that, and I was like he wasn't wrong though.
I'd be like, oh, you're right right.
How about Kelly tells Dylan, don't tell him what we talked about, and then he immediately tells Brandon she's talking about Emily.
Yeah, well, he's trying to be truthful and honest in his rehabs. So yeah, yeah, what did she I mean she told Okay, so that's what she said, don't tell him it was about Emily.
She says, I'm upset about Emily. Obviously. She says something like I'm upset because he's seen Emily and I think, you know, then he saw her again, whatever that whole thing is. She finds out Emily didn't leave, blah blah blah. So she's obviously opening up to Dylan, says, don't tell him immediately.
I love it that we have completely different opinions on that scene. I mean, I get what you're saying about that you feel their connection, but at the same time they've been so disconnected, yeah, for so long that I wanted something to glue that those two worlds together and make like a bridge. You know, there was no like them getting back together again, but they did just sort of fit like you know best friends do. Right, Yeah, yeah, I think it was a quick repair.
Munly, it's just hunky dory.
I don't know. I just feel like, how does Brandon redeem himself from the situation? And do they stay together? Because I know that there was an almost wedding at some point, because these are the things I remember, but I don't remember if they stay together in the interim or if they break it up?
Jenny? What think?
I tell her, we will let her how to find out?
I mean, she okay, but you know what, Tori, Yes, you know.
What I'm thinking.
Yes, how is she not thinking of it?
It's like her life because.
She's watching it as a fan this time.
But yes, what do you mean it's my life? It's not my life. There's something in it.
It's very important to you.
My god, you guys a baby close. I know.
I was like, wait, Kelly has a close your eyes, cover your ears, Jenny, what is something that is so important to you from nine oh two one oh that is still so important to you today?
Me?
Yeah? What what.
Are are you guys kidding me?
Right?
Now I don't even wait. Wait, I'm so lost right now my trailer.
Do you want me to say no, I choose me. Oh that's coming, I choose me. I know that's coming, obviously.
I know it's coming.
That's in this season. Okay, okay, so she's oh, well, then we know what's going to happen you guys. Spoiler alert, Brandon and Dylan both want to get back with Kelly. That's the first Yeah, okay, okay.
But I thought she meant something else.
I just doo, there's more.
What do you mean, there's so much.
There's ton there's so much, yes, so much, but like at least we know, I mean, that's I just was like, I don't know. I don't know why you don't love the scene. I love everything about the scene. Because he also says he's really acknowledging his healing, like I don't want to check back in? He says, how do you feel about checking out? I don't want to check back in?
And that was like, so mm hmmm, yes, correct, that's where what you would be thinking.
Correct, Okay, there's so much should we talk about, Dylan Moore? Do you want to go? Save that for the end?
But did anyone feel like it was odd that, like Donna or David, nobody ever says anything to Kelly about her scars about.
Right, well, Brandon acknowledges she won't. She does this a little bit a lot hair over it and she won't let anyone see. And Brandon does say that I just found.
It so weird that like nobody ever talked about it.
Well, and they're also irritated with each other, Like you're irritated. Where is the sympathy for this girl? Like, thank god she's alive and she should be.
Showered with love, and like, uh, she's very cranky too, but he's rightfully so right.
Claire's like, you better got out of here while you have a chance. And then she's like fighting with her mom and it's just like Donna bailed. And Ray is a total freak in this episode. Ray, okay, we're talking about right now. We're jumping because I have to. He is you know what, because that was my note. I was like, Donna run the sky. Yeah, is bad schnooze.
He's mean on Christmas.
He's a di c.
It's not that chrismiss yet, Donna. This guy is a day Ray Prue is mean on Christmas.
On Christmas and it.
Came out of nowhere. He's a hero. Last week. I was so proud of him, and I wanted the character to.
Be that guy and that to build him up and tear him down. Yeah, it's true, build him back up again.
And the uncle's like, you know, I don't know. It's a whole hot mess over there at the tree farm and the mom's drinking and it's just like, oh god, I'm just seeing those stairs.
Did he say my dad pushed my mom down the stairs?
I never remembered that. And when I heard that, I got in chills and I was like, oh my gosh. Oh, because so often when people have so much family trauma, they want.
To not that's what they know the past.
Well yeah, but right, like so you have to change.
But quite literally, he ends up the foreshadowing doing the exact same thing so bad, except Donna when she goes down the stairs doesn't have a baby because she's a virgin.
But oh my gosh, that was horrific to hear.
I just wanted Donna to take her cute little tummy right on out of there, uh and march out and not come back because you you did grab your coat and leave once. But then you came back and you know better.
This guy sucks.
Whoa, whoa. You guys am feeling really attacked right now.
And he is not going to sell one Christmas tree with that attitude.
And his hair it a little bit and he looks super hot, so yeah, I'm but he has there's a reason though, you guys, he's bummed on Christmas. Mom's an alcoholic and it only happens once a year.
Okay, so he can take that out on you.
I don't think don.
Look at me.
I'm like defending.
Don't don't defend him. He is horrible and he's not just horrible to you, he's horrible to like, oh so horrible. At the tree lot, he's like and damn chicken wire, like he's such a take your tree and shove it. Yeah what she made me? Sure? Five trees? That's your job, dude, Yeah, Hi, that's your tree farm?
What he here's me? Because this is my personality.
I was like, oh my gosh, he just like disclosed all this information and all, like you put all this honor, and she made it about her and said that it was her birthday.
I was so shamed.
I actually liked that. What you were trying to do, that was actually good, Tory Donna. You were saying toys that he doesn't I'd not it. Yes, yet he doesn't have to be so bad. I was born on that day and now I'm in your life. I actually didn't hate that. I mean, it was cheesy, but I did not hate that at all. I was like, oh, least that's something.
He's going to become nice again before it becomes bat again. Right, well, we're gonna have a real bad.
Let's push pull, push pull, push pull. Oh good, okod yeah, yeah, abusive relationships at their finest.
Did you feel that it was weird going from the beach apartment to the Hanukka party or I don't know. I felt like those transitions from anything to the Honuaka party we were a little clunky for me.
Well here's my thing, and I know we'll talk about it. Boom, Jesse, you are a stud. He was just mic drop on Steve, who was being such.
A baby boiled. He's usually his usual self a baby.
Steve was so gross in this episode.
But Iron looked super hot in that suit. I agree like that, but like that zoom in, like the profile shot with rush first.
But did he have ash on his face in that scene? Yes, because he had it on the scene after that when he goes to the to the door in that scene, though I know, I don't know where is that?
I don't know if I just thought he looked so hammed.
How About when he holds Griffin, who's also a tool bag.
How about when he's when he says you best be gone? Literally, I was like, who's that?
That?
And that in the script.
You best b E s begone?
I get back best be gone.
It's not b E s t It was b e s best begone? You best be gone?
Did you see the like the nose like as I was doing the flair like his whole I can't do it?
And it was first of all, who is first of all God? So much to break down with Steve. He almost murdered a lot of people, and yet his big focus is that he can't run clubs anymore?
Yeah?
What he hasn't even branded Kelly Taylor? Right?
Am? I?
Right?
Did he he did?
He didn't even care about the people that I.
Mean cares, but he's not. He's more caring about himself. And then he's like, oh man, okay. So then like whatever, Griffin's rich ass lawyer gets him off and Rush and the whole it's all. But then Jesse lays him straight totally and he deserved that, and yay Jesse.
I thought. I was like, Jesse's not being very helpful.
Oh my god.
I was like yeah, like, but Jesse also says, uh, I don't know if this was connected or not, this this writing or improving. He says he'd be gone, he'd be out of here when he was talking about the guy that lost his kid, took his kids, He'd be gone. He'd be out of here. Like again, bizar for me.
But Steve is such a fool in this, Like I don't know, but he looked so good in that suit and Rush was looking good too. They both had perfectly tailored suits. I was pleased because Brandon Jaz I was so pleased because Annon's blazers are always just oh way big.
But then he does a nice you know, nine two three sixty and goes and makes nice with Eduardo.
Yes, yes, that was that was a little dumption, just like you like them. Yep, yep, it's very inappropriate. At the Keghouse. A couple things, I mean so much still go, but just one little note, so I don't forget. How does uh Christina Elise? Why is why Emily Valentine? My god, my brain can only blur it. Her was so very large,
She's like, where's she getting all that dough? And it was so very eighties, Like I know we're in the nineties, but it was like, what is going on with the purple walls and the purple rug and this the hideousness of the hotel room? But yet I kept literally saying, how is she affording such a large large suite?
My gosh, that's what you were looking at her page by. I can't look at anything else, like, no one can wear that, like.
She looks so good, Like I liked her hair better in this episode. It looked a little different than the last episode, didn't it. It was more red, maybe not so dark.
She's just got a cute face. On those close ups, it's like they going way close and she is like real cute.
It's so smoking, Like it takes a real good face and jawline to wear a hair.
It's the jaw line.
It's the jaw line. It's so good. She still has it to this day.
You guys, so yeah, and she still has short hair, doesn't she.
And very aggressiveness happening with the settlement like way too fast, like nobody's getting a settlement, and in court four minutes later, like way too fast.
I mean, technically it's only a forty two minute show. When you break it down with commercials and everything, it's an hour. But I'm just saying you had to actually.
Also, I sort of been liking feisty Andrea. I sort of enjoyed the scene with Andrea look and Jesse talking about a client.
Why she looks I don't know, but her face is so pretty in the last episode and in this episode.
Screed, but I don't like the hair. Is that okay?
Yeah?
I don't know. It's like a mullet is a lady like you said, okay, and you just went right in it's a mullet.
I didn't say that's wrong.
It was the blonde. It was the blonde highlights.
I don't know. I think she looks gorgeous.
Can I throw something personal that just popped into my mind? Yep. For the last four seasons, she's always we've all looked college. Look, she doesn't look like she's in high school. She doesn't look like she was in high school. But now that she's a mother in the show married, I think we're able to go like, oh, now you look awesome because you're sort of playing.
In high school right.
Like it's like, Okay, she's so believable as sort of like okay, maybe more of a graduate student, right because he's in law school. So maybe my brain's like tricking me a little bit, but like it just all feels right. She being married, having the baby, the juiciness that's coming all tracks for me, And I think I'm just much more hooked into her whole storyline.
That's a great point. I feel like, definitely, it's you totally accept it visually because of the storyline.
Yeah, and it makes me happier. It's like, Okay, I don't have to like be taken out by it. I'm just like yeah, And she's so smart. And I was like, remember when he says, can you be my lawyer? I was like, yeah, a girl.
She should have been.
Should we talk about Dylan coming home?
Yeah, Jim and Cindy or now now they are stepping up and being supportive of him coming home from rehabit val I thought they just decided they weren't going to hang out anymore in hab.
Thank you Now she's back to glutton for punishment.
She really yeah, And he even says something like he calls her babe, yes in front of in front of Cindy.
Maybe that was just like an endearing term, but I was very confused.
I was so focused on those flowers, you guys, if they threw me over the edge, I've missed this.
Where were they on the table.
That Cindy was putting in the vase when he came home, And it was just so I don't know, they were like left over from Thanksgiving. They were all fall colors. We're in winter now, Like I don't know, I feel like the flowers are always just.
Go back and see that they were gross.
Well, the door guy, I mean, he gets out of rehab and then he gets punched right in the gullet again with the with the Erican note that just magically surfaces the day he stumps out of rehab.
You guys, remember when she stuck that with her gum onto the bathroom wall and I had I just the fact.
Yeah, So how did it get in that lady's She said she found to carry.
On somehow the gum must have stuck to her. She found it.
I thought she was like, I found it in a stall and then I shoved it.
In her bag and never did anything with it and then somehow.
Till now and maybe it just got to him. But her writing, how old is she? She's supposed to be eleven?
Why would she call her mom Suzanne? Kevin and Suzanne have taken me to Brazil. Wouldn't she write? My mom and Kevin have taken me to Brazil.
Yes, I would, I would think, so. I was like, but maybe she was wanted.
I don't know.
It did look panicked, you guys, the writing felt very beautiful, clear. It was some calm writing. And I yeah, I mean you would have been like a right, like it was just beautiful. I was like, but we had to see it, right.
I want to do a test and write a note in an airport bathroom. Take this, didn't you write his address? Get this to Dylan McKay on very quickly.
You're doing it like it wouldn't.
Look like that, and then see if it ever got back.
Let's do it like you could leave a note.
For can you? Yeah? Like, can I say? Get this?
Here's what I really want to do. Please get this to Kelly and Donna at blah blah blah, well Brazil Brandon and see if it ever comes back to us.
Wait, Jen, does it ever happen to you? I know we've talked about this like a gazillion times. Like when people come up and they talk to you like it's real, Like I mean, it's real. But they'll be like like, hey, Donna, I always say I always answer. I never correct anyone say oh it's toy, Like, I'm always like.
Hi, how are you?
And then they'll be like how's Kelly and like and then I I'm like Jen's good? And then like someone once was like, wait, do you guys still live in the beach apartment? I was like, oh no, that was like thirty like years ago. David and I are married. We lived in Japan, now we're back. I have five babies with him.
What do you mean I haven't lived with Kelly and years?
Is that person investing with you?
No, they weren't, Jen, Someone's done that before to you, right.
Yeah, No, I don't let it go that long.
But you all ever had a celebrity that you called their character's name?
Yeah, I'm sure I have that's an easy that's an easy Snapoo.
I can tell you I can't do it. I can't get you. I've only messed it up with you. Guys wants each Steve Steers, I've never called Ian Steve the ones that I cannot do. And Jenny, you will appreciate this more than anybody is Greg, Peter and Bobby every time I talk about them in real life they even.
Have real names.
I can't say Barry Williams, A Chris Knight and Mike Look and Lynn. I'm always like, Greg, Peter and Bobby.
Yeah, because that's universal.
Hello, a thousand.
Person, I guess, I guess, but you've definitely but it has happened, and it's not just like a fan, Like people have come over to your house that like, oh, you know, coming for dinner or something, and like there's extended family or something and they call you Kelly or right, yeah, people put in my house like but usually they yeah, and then they're like I'm so sorry, And I was like.
Yeah, that happens all the time.
I don't want to ruin it because she's going to come on with us. But Elisa Donovan gets called ginger La Monica like like she has some stories about fully being called ginger la Monica.
And that's a toughness to remember.
Season six. Yeah, we need to get ahead.
She gets called that over clueless.
What do you mean yep, yes she does, yes, sure, yes, yes, But we'll get to that. What have we forgotten from this episode that I love that you guys don't love.
Not a mother f thing or unseen.
Yeah.
I started this podcast by saying I was a little underwhelmed by it, and I still feel that way.
Oh my god, I don't look at all my notes.
I wanted more after last week we got so much. I wanted more this week.
Oh.
I love when there's when they say can I say some Someone says can I say something? And I think you and your mom Kelly and her mom say no at the same time.
Yeah, that made me get a little choked.
Also, I just felt like it was.
A lot of the storylines. It was all interiors, and that feels stressful when we're talking about nine on two and zero because it's so it's Beverly Hills and it's like, I don't know, we're in the hospital, we're you know, in the court room.
And we had the Honica party at the at the school, and then we had the honka party at Andrea's, which I liked.
No, I liked it all.
But Jen, do you feel like you would have felt not as underwhelmed if the storylines, Like, I don't know, they should have mixed the story lines up a little bit. It was a lot of heavy storylines all at once in one episode. There was nothing light and fun. Oh we had the Christmas tree lot was outside.
I was light and fun either horrible. So there's nothing like Emily and Brandon if this was six months ago or six months from now.
And I was missing some Valerie. Sorry, I feel like she spices things up. She was barely in it.
Hmmm. Claire, Like, I don't know, We're gonna have a lot of David and Claire.
Bring the fun.
Yeah, I just still it was no fun. You're right. This episode was not a lot of fun.
And I'm super mad at Brandon. I gotta say it again, Like I'm thinking about that kiss and I think they say I love you. It's just so dude.
I think that we've said all we can say about this. What do you want to gossip about I don't know.
I don't.
Let me think.
Wow, this is a first.
Met the three of us not coming.
Up with I'm giving this episode a nine.
Oh wow, yeah you give it a nine? Yeah, but what do you give it?
Okay, there's a part of me that's embarrassed not giving it a higher score because it's like, there's a lot of heavy stuff.
We should be like, Okay, you can't go with a seven, That's what I was thinking, that's jes Rachel.
Seven is what you give something when you just can't decide if it was good or bad, right, because you don't want to go eight because that means bad, and you don't want to go like you mean right, sorry, you don't want to go five because that's like downhill.
So in six close to five. So you got to go with seven? Yeah, yeah, and I understand him and eight nine it's is just so, but that's cool.
It's hard to live up to the week we just had before this. This is excellent if.
You say so.
Okay, So there got me all fired up. Dylan's coming back. I'm falling in love with him again.
Maybe it was just like you know, when you're on a high and then you gotta take a dip. Maybe it also if we had watched it right.
The upper gate was strong, and we have the second date. It's never as good, but the third we can go back.
So let's go back up. Okay, let's next week. It's got to go back up. What do we have next week? We have uh, Season five, episode fifteen, Christmas?
Oh yeah, yeah yeah, Christmas comes each time.
This year it's the Christmas episode, which is crazy, you guys, because it's going to time out so crazy.
Our birthday. It's birthday, it's my birthday.
We really nailed the timing.
That's it's like we planned this. It's which didn't happen. No, well we hope you guys.
Uh, timing is everything is Emily.
I'm just still digesting time it up. I mean, I know we have to get but I'm singing about of like digesting everything that happened in this episode. You all have just moved on from it so fast.
Okay, you digest your almost Christmas Thanksgiving dinner.
Wait, do you think Kelly will will have scars next week or they just will be going They're going to.
Be They're gonna.
I think that's gonna be a thing for me.
It impacts her modeling career, right, A modeling.
Career so close. I think every time she says something about her modeling career, I'm never going to model again. I just cringe. I cringe.
I don't know what. Oh gosh, I cringe more Jackie. Jackie is like, she's not a great mom. She's oh, bless you, Tory. Jackie's got a lot to work on, don't we all.
I feel like Jackie's just very one dimensional not in a bad way, but she's just one dimensional Jackie. Everything she says or does, or however she acts is very Jackie, which is perfect.
Just Jackie being.
Jackie, just Jackie being so Jackie.
Guys, we have such a good ending.
Now we're like, all right.
Well, I loved it. I love every second of it.
Amy loved it. I love it all the end.
