It's not with Jenny Garth and Tori Spelling. You guys, welcome to another one. To an OMG, I just want you to repeat what you just said, miss thing. What that was for your ears only? Okay? Okay, So I was just saying off the record to my two besties here, but for all of you to hear as well, that I was all about season four. I was like, oh my god, I can't wait to the college years. You

can't wait to the college years. Granted we're not to college yet, but after the second episode of season four, I did say, I'm going on the record, I might just stop watching the show. Now. What you can't Okay, first of all, you can't for one episode. You can't. You can't stop watching. I'm way to invest it. But I felt like it you just were saying that I got nervous, nervous. Okay, she's not. She's not leaving us. Everybody, all right now, this is good. Amy is so mad

at me right now. You can see Amy face to hear this because he loved this episode. I think I love Season four. I don't, but I think, remember I told you it's my favorite season. So I think once we get into the group of college. I'm gonna be really happy. Yes, I'm I have so much to be talking about on this episode, so I want to just jump right in. Okay. Season four episode to the Girl

from New York City, You Guys, aired September. Synopsis. Dylan returned to France and good spirits, while Kelly is waiting by the phone and feeling guilty about her date with Gaston. Jill confides in Brandon before she returned to New York. Brenda is more homesick than ever and leaves the dorm on a stormy night. Directed by Jeffrey Melman, written by Steve Wasserman and Jessica Klein. Uh wow, this episode had like a lot going on. First of all, I felt

like super long. I thought, when is this going to end? But there was because there was so much. No, no, not in a bad way, because there was so much in it. There were three for me, there were like three storylines. And then there was Andrea h who just showed up with that bed hard. Oh my god, you guys, why does she look She looks thirty years old with that hair. Do my gosh. I saw what you guys told me last week. I disagree. I disagree you like it?

Last week she looked thirty two solid thirty two. Okay, say science, science, but there were three Let's talk. Let's can we do this for me because I get a little flustered or confused when we go hoppity pop back and forth. Would you like to play an the counter while you tell us how to organize that? You know, I like things to be organized, and this is really

stressful when oh good, I'm so bad. Okay, so let's let's just start with one story and then go let's talk all about it, and then we'll do the other one. Let's start. Let's start with Brendan College, because that's what the show opens on. First of all, I love seeing rain on any in any form, even if it's on my TV, because it never rains where we live. Fake. Yeah, that looks that looks so real. Oh well, first of all, she didn't actually film this in Wisconsin, so it really

looks like Minnesota, Wisconsin. What sorry, my friends went to school in Wisconsin. I thought that was real. I thought that was real, like the exterior shot of it, like in front of the building anyway, who cares, But definitely not the shot of her in the window like right, doing her homework or whatever she was doing that wasn't real right because it was like pitter patter, pitter patter. But she poor thing. She looks miserable. Oh my god, she looks cute though her hair looks damn good, real

good on Point season four. But she just really does look sad. And it just for me is so weird to see Brenda at college. For some reason, she seems so much more mature than a college girl. So like, I don't know if that's Shannon coming through more or if it's Brenda. I don't know, but for me, it was just hard to believe sad or sour puss. I think her sadness is coming out as sour pussness. But why is her college starting so much earlier than the

West Coast colleges? So that happened. There's a time change, there's a time difference. Is that it? That's actually very common ahead So like U c l A starts very late and other schools start like some schools start late September and some start early August. Good looks like the College of High School. Okay, okay, got it. I don't know what about Darla, I didn't know this was going to happen Darla. It's so so what so what do you think of Darla? Both of you. Darla is a

dirty bird, That's what I think. So when we Um talked to Wendy Benson she was talking about I didn't know what she was talking about, like, oh, well, my character like had sex, and I was like, she think you have a different show. But I didn't want to be rude. Oh my god, you just hadn't gotten to this episode yet. Who knew that was going to unfold with so much Darla action. The red Tassel move is more of what the boys do. Oh really in eighties movies it was a sock the red castle they fill

up as well. What no, isn't that a thing? The Red Tassel felt very little. That was like the female version of the sock. I guess yeah, yeah. I mean, everyone give their thoughts because Darla. I'm she I'm torn on Darla. Is she a good friend or is she? I think Darla is all about Darla, and and she pops in and tries to be like, oh, your best friend from a long time ago, but really she talked about her later in the episode, So what kind of friend. Is that because a real friend never ever ever talked

about somebody. Although she justified because Brenda is being a sour puss and won't go out and won't do anything, but she could have said, you guys, she's having a hard time transitioning. This is really harder. She missed her family, like she could have defended her in some way, but and said, yeah, but I see what you mean. She is kind of being hard to be around. Maybe deep down she feels scorned Darla. Yeah, why because Brenda got out, she's back and she like she's left her and like, yeah,

a new set of friends. And maybe she's just like deep down resentful. Maybe I don't know, or maybe Darla is just sick of it, Like I'm trying so hard with this girl and she's not putting in any effort to join us, and she's kind of being well lives Darla. At that age, you're just like all about you, like you're just you know, you know, think about other people. I don't think so. Did she give the full college try to Minnesota? No? No, no, she didn't even leave

her dorm room. I mean, hello, but you guys, oh MG, moment that her boyfriend was named Dylan. I think they planned that. Oh god, that guy's a cutie right, Oh my god. The scene with Darla with the curlers. I spent a good portion of that scene being like, they never let us cut our hair. Mid episode? What wait you mean her hair was cut? It looked like it was cut. Well, I see, I'm watching on my phone, and it was because it was curled. It like went.

She had two rollers in it. At the end she took the hot rollers out and I was like, oh yeah, it got real curly and then real curly. They're definitely making her the preppy Darla in juxtaposition to Brenda, dark, gloomy Brenda. She's like, there's a boy leaves her like Oxford shirt on. So, since we're going through it storyline storyline, storyline, do you think that Brenda is leaving school because Donna

told her Kelly and Dylan broke up. I think that's just the cherry on top m like poop, Like she hates there, She's miserable. Everybody hates her there now exact. But you guys, what about while Brenda is at school. I don't know why I'm so much more invested in Jim and Cindy's storyline. Now, we talked about that last week. But when when they're in her room, when Cindy is in her room, first of all, loving her new little haircut, and look, I'm not you aren't. I think she looks

so cute. You don't, I don't know. You backed me up. I don't like you don't like it either, and it ages her eyes like it's just cut. It's not appropriate. Stop stops, it's appropriate. She looks like Cindy, like Walsh, like a mom, like she should look. She shouldn't look all vava voie all the time. She's from Minnesota, but she was. Okay, So I want to know what both

your thoughts were to the bedroom scene. Okay, let's just start with sadness I felt about for Cindy, about her daughter not being there, and like that was really breaking my heart because that's what it's like, you guys. You go in the room and it's just empty, and it's the worst is feeling. I know that other people out there can understand who are in the same position, but that was hard for me. Um. But I know what you are talking about because you are a dirty bird too.

You're talking about when Jim and Cindy were like I didn't know how to smell bound. I was like, my eyes stop, make it stop. I love seeing Jim no physical I do know, I do not. I love the idea over it. No, no, no, no, not for it. I like him in a non sexual way, like I just appreciate him and all his hair in a different way. I don't want to see him kissing, and then I definitely don't want to see him falling like down in the in the dit position on his daughter's bed. Nope,

who does that? And parents do that on their bed? No they don't. I mean I haven't heaven an he has anybody listening? No, no, I can't know too multiple time I did that? Why does that? I literally was what. I sat there, I shouted out, no, no, not on Brenda's bed, like I was taking back to the TV for the first time. Can you all please discuss for a second, because there our age? So why are we so ewed by it? I don't know. I think I might be fewed by my own sexual things now because

like just put it in a whole different category. In all fairness, she gets sewed out by any like one kissing or touching or like I did. But this really got me. This really got me. She didn't like it. She's hard because I might be. That's not a word, Tory. Do you think you guys are sexier now than you were then? Or you fwed out to wait looking at our former selves? Do we think our former selves or

suffers aren't sexy per se? Like I love this show, but like you would think that we are old and we would be like the but we're just grossed out by it because it's I want to know where you stand, Tori, because I don't feel like it's a good justification of like people are age right now, they look like people like in their sixties or seventies. You mean you mean

we don't look like that? Is that what you're saying? Yes, I think we might from other people's take it back right now, take it back like from like if you're young, if you're thirty years younger than we are. Oh boy, yeah, but okay, have you guys seen the trailer for the Julia Roberts George Clooney movie. Yes, yes, I don't say you obviously they're going to hook up George Clooney. I mean, come on, everybody, wants them to hook up. Okay, so is there an example of an old couple take the

old doubt? Is there an example of an our age couple that play the parents that were not sewed by thank you, no darn. See, if they're playing the parents, you just automatically have to be like an EO mode. But if there's no kids involved, you can appreciate them at any age. Correct. I mean, have you guys not seen that show sex Life their parents? What sea? No? Wait what sex life? Sex life on Netflix? And now do yourselves a favor. I don't like stuff like that.

I do like stuff like that. What is you need to watch it? Stat? Like, wait, who's it? These hotties I don't even know, like Sarah Shahidi and this other dude that's so hot and a third dude that's super hot and it's very dirty and they have a threesome. Oh my god, a threesome that'd be like, you guys, stop stop my ears. And there are eight so early you guys, this is my feeling. Wait, so, Jenny, I

have a question, was you too? I don't know why because this mom and dad, uh, Brenda must have been really cold in that hallway I felt for her and her little cold butt sitting on that linoleum in there, weak girl. That was like lonely, it was. It was and sad for her. Raise your hand though, if you think she's being a sour pus. But but she misable. But she's miserable. But you wan't go to the party. She's not trying, she's not. You're there already, you might

as well try. You're right, that is annoying for the other people around her. But they were talking so meanly about her when they came in and she was supposed to be sleeping. Remember, yeah, also, come on, people, people wake up by the likes d come on there so clueless and they stay in like a perfect road. Did you see they came in her room and they all stayed in their perfect I really wanted somebody to stand it.

Dylan said something real mean. I can't remember what it was, but I think he low blowed it too, like he was just I think he did too. I kind of ignored it because I was like, who cares what he has to say? And I did. I felt really bad for Okay, that's all I have to talk about about Brenda before we move on from her. Do you think she should leave? What do you think she should know? If you were her? No, she should It's that easy. He's just like, yeah, you quit things, you don't you

don't even try. M I mean, I know that that would be what I would want to do, but I would hope that there would be somebody like encouraging me to stick it out and give it a try. And where's her mom? Why aren't they talking? Like right because they're hump on her bed. Okay, thanks for wearing a circle. Happy she's gone, because yeah, like, oh, that was the last one to check off our list. I also think when she called and Donna Tori's message came on and

it was like that amazing. I loved our outgoing message. I think we should redo that, Oh my god, and we should make it available people can like call and leave messages for us. That's a great idea. I love it because that was so cute. Yes, remember when you when you did that with your room mate and you had like a joint message. I know I'm doing this on the fly, but why don't we record that message to be people's outgoing message and raise money for Breast

Cancer Month. Let's do it. Let's do it everyone you want us to do that, I'm not a credit for you. Sorry. Okay, I'm thinking what we do is we it up as a ringtone and then people can buy it for the ringtone. Okay, just know where it'll have an update by the how we're going to do it. It's gonna be fun, very good, very good. But she's all writing it down. She's just writing very good. Okay, let's jump into into the next story.

Um wait, wait, wait, wait, have we finished this? I feel like I hope so, I hope so other than the pay phone and I actually had to remember, like was it a dime then or was it a twenty cents already? Well would it be? Would it? Did it go from dime to twenty or did it go from dime to a quarter? Yeah? I think it went from dime to two dimes? Do you think new people are watching it, like young people and going, what are they talking about? What? They don't even know what a dime

is anymore? We just lost the young demo one of our audience. Bye. Also, ok, I guess you had to use the payphone because dumb Darla was like doing it and she couldn't use that The dorm room. She could have sent a wire. Well, fairness, that's right. Let's call back the last episode. What did you call it? It was a wire, but he called it a god a telegram. Uh, it was a telegram, but he said I got a wire from dinner. He had a different word. Oh god,

I'll have to remember he used a different word. Anyway. Okay, Jenny, I sorry, okay, episode up? Sorry? You know the other storyline? What's it called? B storyline? Let's call it with Steve and Brandon just tennis? For me? What is happening? Why are they so compatible? I couldn't okay. First of all, I was like rand in a k Jason is good at every sport. He just is. I think said that too,

because they're both so athletic, they're really good at tastes. Also, do you think he was like I love sports, like always put me playing sports, like this is my thing. Here's the sports I'm great at, like whatever. There would be pickball today if you didn't modernized. Did you guys notice that both Ian Steve Brandon Jason are lefties. That's why they're also so good at tennis, because they're coming

at it from their lefties. You didn't notice. Nope, I'm trying to re enact it in my mind right now. What's that called golf? Goofball? No, I'm pretty sure it was before the days of the Instagram reverse thing. I know what, there's a name for it. I think you're thinking of snowboarding. Goofy, goofy, goofy? Is that for all sports? When you're a lefty, you're a goofy? Lefties always have an advantage in sports? All right? Who knows? But I did. I made that note too. I said, like, Wow, they're

so both very athletic. I love that about them. They were obviously really really playing. But here's what I really wondered. You said last week how much you were loving Jason's look, and I it's just simple. It's the hair, it's the haircut. It's a he looks like a different person with that hair do. Someone messaged just that he was shooting Calendar Girl?

Was that Calendar Girls? That track? He had short hair, the same hair do, yes, and that, and a lot of like new like cockiness, like I'm so cool, a lot of like I'm in my I've found my stride. Right, he really had, though, as Jason Priestley or Brandon Walsh did. He called Jill babe real quick, like they are so fast? I don't hit it. What the heck? Why is this moving? Why is the storyline even happening? First of all, because they need to wrap it up because it's not going

to the next episode. Okay what I'm thinking. But I just didn't understand why it moved so quickly and why, Like Steve was like, broke, You've been with her for a week. You haven't slept with her? Like what what is it? Just? Am I old? Or is that like super fun? Was totally crazy. It was ridiculous. Can you do me a favor? You guys? Will you sleep with me? The so gross, I know, but it was hard for

me to hate it because of her situation. So it was like I want to say, you know, I wanted to say it was very Had they not had her storyline, it would have been so what is happening? I just kept saying, when they're back to their like being competitive and like battling each each other at everything for what for a girl? Is that? What it is? The goal is they're trying to impress Jill poor thee last first of all, but second of all, is that how boy

bff's act? Like is that natural point? That's a great question, Like if you have a boy, I don't know, are you just always competitive with each other and always rasing each other and always like punching each other? Like, is that is not fantasy football? They love like, they love competing. They even compete at like a fake game. I guess there's all different relationships even if boy or girl doesn't matter. But these two are just like, I don't know what's

happening with them because I love them together. They're hilarious together, They're perfect for each other, and then they just keep having these stupid, petty arguments and I don't get it. Do you think Celestine Jill got overly agitated? Like I was sort of like let them be. Yeah, I would be irretated. I'd be like, dude, I'm your girlfriends are right here. Can we not do this right now? Well again, I of our time. That's what they now call a bromance. Also,

it's very convenient. What was it called West Beach Club? West? This fake sign the tennis club? Is that what you're talking about? Yeah? It was? Where was that? I need to know? I want to go there? There's a pool and a tennis court. It looks so fun. I don't know. But they filmed all those scenes in one day, so that was on budget. One location. Yep. I loved it. I want to many questions. I think there might be like over by um Hancock Park area. Oh, I was

gonna say, we want in Century City. I have no idea. At first, I thought they took someone's mansion and just put that giant sign up on their tennis court, because I don't know how was that at my house? Seriously, I don't know a lot of clubs where the pool and I thought the same thing. I was like, wow, they put the pool right by the tennis court. You're right, I bet you that was a private home. Good call. Then someone tell us when as I thought that, they kind of zoomed out a little bit and I saw

more like stairs and maybe another port. So I was like, Okay, am I wrong? I need to know where that was. Then bravo to the background actors who had to act during the fight, because if there was a fight that close to you, you would look like what's going on? And a couple of them did. I wonder if they did or like they did the first take, and they just kept like and then they were like, cut, Okay,

do you notice what's happening. So for the background actors, while the director would give us notes on our acting and what to do, the first a d would get the direction from the director and then go tell is that right jen? The background? Yeah? Second, it might be a second second eighties in charge of background actors as the protoco and so often in that environment it's super rushed and that there's no time to tell them what

to do. They bring them in, they're like, okay, you cross here, you go there, and then you're watching this and then don't say anything and don't you can't say anything up to mime and like it's so stressful. But because of like industry rules, the director if they don't have a speaking part, can't give them the direction. Really, I don't think I made that up. I think there's something like that outain there. Wow. Questions, What I have a question? You go first? You go first? Why is

Brandon so sexually aggressive? But he's just he wants to eat her head? He tries to eat her head. Why when you kiss someone? Why? Why is it that his mouth is open entirely like she's eating a question for thirty two years. It just made me uncomfortable to watch like like that, You're like another victim of T MJ. Here we go. It didn't do me, but it was

very noticeable. And his big his hands, the way he's like he just puts his hands on the back right pushes her head in there like he's just it's very aggressive. And with that haircut, I was not feeling it at all, Like I didn't like it. While I do agree he looks great, I didn't like the vibe that I'm getting from Brandon right now. I love you're getting a Jason vibe. Maybe I love the vibe. I love the vibe. It is a giant I agree on that. I'm sure no

girl was ever mad though. Really I would like if I was a guest starring and I came in and that guy was super handy with me, which he's supposed to be, but it's still there's still like it's just too comfortable, too quick, like I don't I don't feel it, and and if it looks like I don't know what it looks like, but it doesn't make But they kissed every five seconds, like every little point they like practically kissed.

There was lots of like little kisses, and then there was a big makeup and then like a ass slap and on the tennis court, which I would have been like, I mean, it looked real, it looked great, but it made Brandon look like like a five year old, like he hey like a guy, like like he didn't feel like Brandon anymore. They're just very confusing because it's like, at the same time of having just met, they seem like they've been dating for two years, but then she

wants to take it slow. Then he's saying, why don't you transfer college for me? Like because I met you three days ago. Like it's very it's just also weird. And Brandon, he just seems old and I can't with his kisses. That's all I have to say about it. What about the tennis offenses? Really, I thought the girls look thicky. I loved her as it was like nineties,

like that typical nineties print on that skirt. Loved it and bold with the sports bra only like yeah, I was going to say that that's different, like the tennis skirt always, but it was just a sports bra, not a strict club The West Beach yes, college, yes, true, true, they have loose dress code. I didn't understand why Joe was just standing there. I thought she was supposed to

be playing tennis. But like in the parts where she got hit by the ball twice in her ow, literally she's just standing there waiting for the ball to hit her, like, move like you don't want to get hit, put your racket up, do something. She was there's no c G I, so somebody had to get hit. Basically he really didn't had to hit it right at her, but when she would have been more like, yeah, she just stood there like I don't know its call phony. It wasn't Wimbledon,

but it was good tennis. Good tennis, okay, yeah, pretty good? Pretty good? So do you not care for them together? Both of you? Know? What are your thoughts? She looks familiar there. She's great. Don't get me wrong. I think she's beautiful. She does a wonderful job acting the role. I don't like his energy with her, so that must mean I don't like them together. I don't know. Maybe it's just him I'm not liking right now, but now

I agree. I don't think there's chemistry. There's some it's off it's very Yeah, I don't know, it's not forced because it looks supernatural. No, I know, but forcing a different way, and it's coming from him, Like I feel like they're forcing it on me. They're not forcing it with each other. They're forcing it on me, and I don't like it. So I like it. I definitely I like them. I thought he handled her confession very well.

Guy I did too, But there was part of it was like, oh, you know, he's like inside, he's like, damn, I'm not going to get lucky tonight. I gotta do the right thing and put my arm around her and just hold her. Yeah. That was a very nine O two one oh is um to put something very heavy, very heavy into a maybe four minute scene. Yeah, not mad about it. Well done. He ended up handling it the right way, the brand the Brandon way, but ahead of its time, as N one oh always is right,

but for a fairly sort of jovial tennis situation. And then woo yeah, but I don't know how it was. I feel like we should talk about the next storyline now that okay, yes, okay, now I'm getting excited. Let's talk about the beach apartment when it came on and they're moving the boxes. I was like, immediately transported into that set and I had to stop the video and the video Oh my god, I'm old. I just stopped the TV with my clicker and on her brain. She

stopped the video in her brain. The minute I saw that linoleum in the kitchen, I was like, oh my god, I want to be in that apartment. The cow chairs, the couchair, that ugly couch with the floral pillows. I hated that miss it so much. That's so comfy, ugly? How dare you? I didn't like it? What the decor of that apartment, it's a good disgusting, but now it's been great for then. Yea, the decor of that apartment

works perfectly in two. The cowchun chair, the comfy chair with the different florals, very retro, like amazing that we're gonna get you a chair like that, Amy. So if we decided to do a makeover and redid your apartment and did it like this, that's okay. I've been in her apartment. I know it looks great and had she has great decor. She's gonna show us something she's carrying in a giant chair like covered in cow hide. She just walked it and walked it out. That is that

was amazing. Okay, okay, okay. To the beach apartment, Well, that was an oppressive That was an impressive play of that shots down. You're right that chair was so heavy. The cow hide now I know, I never knew. Wait. I was like, why do I love I have two of those? Why do I love this? That's why I was ingrained in you. When that cow hide chair showed up, everything came back to me immediately. I remembered the apartment was decorated amazing without being too like a rated. It

was like, it's not young. It felt like they pieced it together with things that they loved, which I appreciated. It didn't look like, you know, Felice had given them her hand me downs, all Felice police police, who shows up at nothing for her daughter, but there and move her in at three am or what was it one am? Remember then? But she was also there before twice. Yeah. She she says to David, it's a safe neighborhood. And he's like, yeah, I'm thinking, are you kidding me? It's

not a safe neighborhood? Was it? Safe. That supposed to be Malibu, though. Isn't Manhattan Beach right on the strands safe too? Or is it not? Girl, there's nothing safe around here anymore. I'm sorry but that that is not a safe neighborhood anymore. I love that apartment so much. It was good. I love seeing them like do stuff in the apartment, like moving boxes and cleaning building stuff. Yeah,

you guys built that stereo system. Most relatable thing of all talk because they're arguing about how to hook it up and the ox, the ox score. You guys felt like a real couple for me for the first time with when David follows you into your room and and he like starts he sits on your bed and starts taking his shoes off, and you're like, um, hello, what are you doing hey? When they were building the stereo, do you think that will be in this century? We

only have a few years left. He had some funny lines. So you said that, Donna said that to him, Yes, And then he says later in the bed to get done. You think that will be done in this century? That will he says, was almost over in the nineties. Is that crazy? I think it's an expression. No, literally it was four three, I don't know. But then later David says, what did I do in a previous life to deserved this?

He's referring to Donna. I also like that we've got the sprinkling that there will be a sorority situation, and there will be a fraternity situation, which I'm all about. That's when it starts to get goot, I am all about. Yeah. Wait, wait, what was the thing? Okay? When Kelly was in Donna's room, um on the bed petting the stuffed cat, First of all,

I thought the cat was real for a second. Second of all, my mom was watching the show with me, and this was one She said two things during the episode. This is one of them. Is that cat real? And then I'll tell you later what she said it for another part, but I realized that cat looks exactly like the cat you gave me from my first wedding. You for some who gives anybody a cat as a wedding present? First of all, you do that looks like there's so

many layers to that story. Okay, this is crazy. I was looking at that and I was like, the cass name was Sunday, right, And so I was looking at I was like, that looks just like Sunday that I so it was hello, It was not first of all, it was the first it was your wedding shower. So even weirder. She had always talked about wanting a cat. I know, but I I say that every day. I love kitties or I love hats. No, this is so crazy. I was so allergic to cats, and back then it

was before people did rescue work. Like I went to the Beverly Center and went to the pet shop there and I literally bought a cat and was so nervous in my car and I had all this stuff and went to I believe your wedding shower was at a Chateau Marmont, Yes, okay, And I remember carrying it in, like, am I going to get in trouble and bring it in? The whole thing is weird. I'm allergic to cats present

for their friend. That's a cat for the wedding shower, like, and remember after you were like, I don't know what to do. There was a reason you maybe couldn't keep it, but you weren't sure, did d I not like cat and I had big dogs. I had big dogs in the catch I remember this, the cat Pete and pood on my bed, and every time that would happen, I'd be like, Tory man killer, who does that? That's the

craziest thing. I would never do that to someone now, But I was young and I was really excited to get you something outside the box rather than just going to your registrate. Was that a decision you made just on your own? Like? Did you did anybody help you with that decision? I clearly did. Did not ask anybody about them because everyone would say, no, don't do that. It's just surpriser with a cat I did. Where did that cat go? But feel that for a long time,

Stuffy the Stuffy was the inspiration. Anyone have that Stuffy? May I ask some questions? Can we please talk about Saved by the Doorbell? Dylan his back. Let's talk about the flashbacks to everybody talked to me. I loved the flashbacks. I thought it was fun. Dylan just feels speaking of Brandon feeling more mature list episode, Dylan feels more mature. This episode feels more aloof more like dressing different, like like aging up a little bit, like just manners and

totally totally everybody feels more. No, just Brenda, Dylan and Brandon all feel more mature. There's that cover of Rolling Stone Girl care. Yeah, that he didn't sleep with Brigitte? What exactly? Hello? Who cares that he didn't sleep with her? He still was So that was not appropriate? You so weird? You don't have a fight with your girlfriend and then she leaves and then you hook up with Noodle in public or and like talking like oh I was furious, me too curious. Then you then then the snow on

a date with Gaston Gaston. Of course he's named Gaston. He was a total babe. Isn't that the guy from Beauty and the Beast? Yes, yeah, which they name, not the guy from which Donna calls out. Donna says that does anyone know who Gastone was? Did he even have a line or was he just a handsome face? I don't remember. I was too busy looking at him handsome? So what do you think? Okay, really, Jenny Tory, what do you think of the behavior of Kelly and Dylan?

And then that they just make up in a split second. It was really immature. And then I also kept my finding myself thinking like, oh, they don't have a cell phone, so they couldn't call each other, text each other or the way we do know how to work everything out. So she left and she thought, I'm gonna get back. No, and she came back and she saw him with Brigitte. Then she said, oh, I'm gonna get back to him

with gust Stone. But that was just a fake thing, but Dylan thought it was real, right, and she let him slap and then she slapped him. That slap was intense and nailed it. That was a real slap, you guys. I didn't I could tell because I do love Dylan and I don't. This doesn't I don't know if this is dylan Ish or not. It kind of is, even though in my mind I want to say it isn't. Where the hell have you been all night? And he was like very aggressive about that. Yeah, I didn't like this, this,

this part, this part of him. I didn't like him

this whole episode. It was very un him and I know that that went seeing him up during this time in our lives, seeing him do that scene with that actress whoever she was, lovely girl was so upsetting for me to be put d be put in that position of okay, just got past the whole triangulation with Brenda, and now now they're bringing in another girl and doing the same ff and thing that they always do to mess with people's minds, like you know, you're not good enough.

I'm going to move on to say it had to be confusing in some alternate world. I wonder if that girl we found her, if she would like I wonder how she felt, like if she felt uneased that day, like do you think you were just like her? High? But not sure she like like, yeah, the actress was

very to be on this show. I'm sure I couldn't have been like my most gracious and warm self d given that situation in the scene, because those emotions felt very real and very like some what's the word like like tangible, and that it made sense to me that it came out in a physical action of a slap, because that's how I really felt watching it, and that's how I know I felt in that moment and just playing in the scene. Even though it wasn't real, it felt so real. What about the knock on the door.

So we go to Dylant wear Dylan's house and there's the knock on the door. Who did you think was at the door Kelly. I was like, oh, dang it, why is she going to him? That's what I wanted to know, because Donna said you should go crawling back to him. Why would she say that? Well? And then Kelly apologizes first, which I get that you did your own part in it, but your reaction was to him being a you know, wet blanket. And then you go off to give each other space and he's canoodling. I

was an idiot. It was selfish and mean. And then you kiss and then he says I didn't sleep with her either, But I'm like, no, it felt very twisted, very wrong. I felt like there was a major male writing influence in that. Like I felt like that in a few times in this episode there I found myself wondering about the men writing the show mostly, and I know that Jessica was there in such a huge force in the room, but for me a couple of times I was pulled out by the masculinity. That's sort of

male toxicity situation happening. And this is one of those points where why would Kelly be the one to drive to Dylan's house? Why would Yeah, he didn't know wherever she lived. He didn't know her new phone number, but he could find her. I mean, let's be honest, the rest of the was the number for Brenda's dorm room. So like, I agree with you, Jen so much, and I'm glad you said it because I felt nervous to say it because I was like, oh, man in trouble

for saying that. But there wasn't a big changing of the guards um season four writing wise, um, and we love everyone involved, obviously, but it did feel a little more like masculine driven this episode and the writing and just not how you know people girls speak and in relationships.

I don't know. I totally agree with you. But then like the Kelly like relating stuff to Donna, I was like, well, but that's her version, and we all have a different perspective on how things played out, so I didn't know, if you know, if we saw like Dylan's perspective on that would have been different. Tori, Wow, that's a really good point, because you really did feel that that was

Kelly's version, right, Oh, that's a great point. Yeah, I don't know, but I was again, I was watching the show with my mom last night, and I got real uncomfy when uh, Killie, Kelly and Dylan were kissing. I don't know it felt so I vote so uncomfortable watching the Apartment to watching that with my mom. I was like, let's fast forward it. I think she liked it, though. Did she like Jim and Cindy looking up? I didn't ask her? Or was she like you out? I didn't ask her. I was so like in my own head

about that. But wait, you guys. At the end, when um Brenda leaves school in the cab, it's in the same mother loving cab that they use in every episode from so I'm sweating right now. I'm so mad about it. What are all to wait? Did all cabs bought that one cab? Oh? That was definitely like sitting in the back of our stages waiting for the cab scene. Yeah. Oh so mad. When I saw that ub in the brain, it was so dark and gloomy and what's going to happen?

Brenda is coming back? But but but Dylan and Kelly are back together, but they're not really getting along that well. Oh no, this is not going to be good to you guys. And obviously, because Donna specifically calls David into the kitchen to tell him. I told Brenda, like, obviously that wasn't for nothing. Something's going to come of that. Donna squeals a lot. She can't lie. Love good intentions, but yeah, feel things before we give our rating. Okay,

al right, our rating. Oh shoot, I didn't do my car. I don't have a car. I'm gonna do it right now. The Zaken like dorm? He is Zaken? And why did they zoom on? Do you know what? I like Brenda's dorm? Clearly we saw multiple times z A K I N Zaken must have been something of somebody that was interesting. The spread of food at the Malibu but with you with you on that, that was a that was a good one. Why would these young people have all of that food? And I feel like it was weighted? Yeah,

they didn't even need it. Andrea, we are learning, wants to be a doctor injecting the orange. Yeah, I didn't know she wanted to be a doctor. I didn't either. And that seems a little off character of brand that came out of nowhere? Wait is that going to lead to something? But she didn't know. It wasn't because she wanted to. I didn't think it was because she wanted to be a doctor. I thought it was because she

has to give her grandma injections, insulin injections. Oh oh, she's right, right, I didn't say Amy never gets those facts wrong. Yeah, I know. That's why I'm I'm not sure. Can I say my favorite line? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, say it. Say it. Let's stay on the side streets before we get on the freeway. This is going a little fast, says Brandon jen what's your favorite line? Uh? I think it was when Dylan said, I mean when when David said, what did I do in a previous

life to deserve this? That was it? A favorite line? Jim and Cindy when just the whole that entire scene of sort of when we're old and like all of it. M m m okay, okay, time for rating me write down quickly if you're writing, I got mine. Here's mine ready, everybody hold him up ready, one tip, trick up. Three. You gave it a three. I gave it a seven. Eight? Who eight? That's very generous? Wow? Three? Wow? You well we okay? Three is harsh, you guys. I'm sorry. It

was disjointed. There weren't like, there weren't the gang. They weren't together, all right? You get fine? Maybe A four and a half based on beach apartment only. Okay, I really hope what goes up for you next week? We have another episode next week, you guys, Season four, Episode three, the Little Fish. Oh, I'm intrigued. So that's your homework. Apparently it's about fish. Eve's George's what shout out to Steve Jorge's gene shorts? Oh? Have those come back? Is

that a thing now? Because I know cargo bands are back in? I thought you said shout out to Jeeve George. I'm like, who the hell did he play? I love Jeef Jorg's He's my favorite actor. You guys, love you, Love you. M E.
