Hello, Welcome back to another Love is Blind recap. This is season six, episode three. It was another excellent episode, so let's just jump right in. It's finally time for Amy and Johnny to meet face to face. Ah, I'm so excited. Each person is standing behind the revealing door and they finally slowly open and they see each other for the first time, and Johnny shook. He's like, whoa, oh my god, oh my god, You're so beautiful. They walk towards each other. They hugged tightly.
He twirls her around. They have a passionate kiss and he just keeps looking at her. He's like, you're so beautiful. Wow, I didn't expect you to be so beautiful. And he reproposes and she accepts again, and it was so freaking all right, all right, maybe I need to sign up for the show. Watching them meet each other embrace and being so excited and being so in love made me you want to start dating again and find love for myself. If you're so handsome, I love you. I love
you so much, love love What am I so single? Honestly though, real talk, I love being single. I enjoy being single, maybe a little too much, but there are times where I'm like, oh, this makes me want to date again. And it's when I watch like really good dating shows such as this one, and during the holidays, and that's pretty much it. They keep telling each other that they love each other, and
he's just in awe of her beauty. I think for Johnny he didn't picture anybody in his head, like he had no mental image of what she was going to look like. But I think with Amy she did because she said that normally she goes for dark skin, dark hair, that's her usual type. She's never dated a white guy, and he's a white person with blonde hair, light features, light eyes, light skin, and so it's something different and she just had to kind of process it and match the voice with
the face and just get used to everything and take it all in. She does say later in the episode that the more she spends time with him, she finds him more and more attractive. So that is love, y'all. Okay, I keep wanting to jump into a story time, but you know I'm gonna keep it about their recap. Okay, Sorry, I just had to stick go on because ugh, I have to lather the shit on because my lips get so dry from talking. Now. In the women's living quarters,
Laura shares all her best dating techniques. Now. According to her, the one that works the best is when you're at the bar and then you find a guy that you really like or think is hot, and then you stare intensely at them, just like stare at them and do not break eye
contact, and that pretty much gives them the signal to approach you. Now, I'm pretty sure that only works on men, because, uh, if I were at a bar and a guy stared at me like that without breaking eye contact, I would call the poe po and I would be like, sir, please come and protect me because I have a stalker. Did anybody hear that saying where if you catch someone staring at you for more than five seconds without breaking any eye contact, that means he either wants to you or
he wants to kill you, And that stuck with me. In the men's living quarters, Clay is crying. He's he's crying. I was not expecting him to be so vulnerable. He tells his friend that he doesn't know how to handle his emotions because he's never been to therapy, but he's glad he's able to just let out a good cry. I actually love this moment where these two men were talking about their emotions and how this process was emotionally like
bringing out their vulnerability. I don't even know what I'm trying to say, but I liked how they validated each other that it was okay for men to cry. I love that just I have it. You know, I usually like keep it things even k I don't like really show it too much of bullshit. So it's just a lot. You know, you probably didn't see it. I know my glasses have a tent on it till a lot of people don't see my eyes when I'm going through. Yeah, but that I
cried all day. Yeah. Clay and Ad go into the Pods for their date and he apologizes once again for his outbursts, and he says, you know, it's really hard for me to express myself, and once I did, you told me that you had a connection with someone else, and that made me feel like I wasn't good enough for you. And she says, you know, you really triggered something in me from my past. I do not like being yelled at. And he apologizes again and he acknowledges that he
should have communicated better now. It's so interesting because he kind of does a one eighty. He tells her, Listen, I'm actually very sensitive inside, and I build up walls as a defense mechanism, but I'm trying to get better. And she's like, oh my thank god. The fact that you could even admit that you're a sensitive person is already progress. And I'm like, damn, girl, set the bar higher. You said ad I just want to be real with you. I'm not getting down on one knee.
I'm not moving forward if I don't feel confident in your looks. I did say that if I'm wrong, I'll definitely admit that I'm wrong. But I just want let you know I'm always gonna fight for you and I have strong feelings for you in the day. I'm not going to just give up like I normally would do. I'm gonna keep fighting because I know you're someone special, Like I'm all about you, and you know, I'm ready to take
this ride and I'm getting better for you, you know. And he admits that he cried earlier and she was like, oh my god, I love that. And she did say something that I do agree with that it's actually stronger when you do let yourself cry, because well, I'm not talking about them like bitching and moaning and complaining about everything, but I'm talking about like people who think crying is weakness, but it's really not because it's actually easier
to not cry because you're avoiding your feelings and your emotions. You're kind of throwing it under the rug and not fronting it because you don't want to deal with it. It's actually harder to let yourself cry and to confront those feelings. It's a lot of work to have to process all that emotion. I know I roasted him in my last recap, but he won major points for me in this episode. I know I still think, like, deep down inside, I feel like he's a boy. Okay, I know he's a
boy. I feel like I can't really trust him, but because he's so cute, I can't help myself. It's time for Kenneth and Britney's date, and he set up some lights on the ceilings. Well it's probably the producer or the producer's assistance, but it was his idea probably. So she goes into the pod. There are lights on the ceiling, there's a delicious salad waiting for her. She's so excited about the salad. I have never seen anybody so excited to eat salad like that could never be me. They sit
down, they have a great conversation. They do discuss race. He confirms that he's black and she confirms that she's white, and they already had assumed that about each other. They talk about sex and they both say they want to wait until marriage. On their next date, he proposes and she accepts. Brittany Karen News leave you Motife. Yeah, she cannot wait to see you. You can't wait to squeeze you. I love you. I am now a fiance. I think they're such a sweet couple. I'm really rooting
for them. Laura is excited for her date with Jeremy. She knows that he's also dating Sarah Ann, but Sarah Anne doesn't know that he's dating Laura too, So I guess Sarah Anne is way more vocal about it in the living quarters and she's like, oh my god, my date with Jamie Jeremy, Jeremy Jeremy. But Laura is kind of tight lipped, so she doesn't really say anything and she just listens. She learns on her date with Jeremy that he has sleep apnea, so he sleeps with a seapap machine and she's
like, oh wow, that's so hot. And I was actually shocked because I thought sleep apnea was an overweight people thing. Because I got sleep apnia after I gained a bunch of weight. I never had it before, So yeah, I guess skinny people can have sleep apnia too. Jeremy talks about the life he wants with his future family and he goes into detail. Honey, he thought about it for a long ass time, like he put a lot of thought into this. There was a lot of description, and I
thought it was very sweet and cue. Next he has a date with Sarah Ann and their conversation is quite different. She talks about how she loves botox and her fillers and she loves taking pictures, and she's like, I hope that if I ask you to take pictures of me, like you're not gonna
be like uugh, and you're just gonna take them in different angles. And basically she wants an Instagram husband, and he goes, oh, okay, so you like taking a lot of pictures, I'm just curious how many followers do you have on Instagram and she's like, oh my god, is that a deal breaker? And he goes no, just like how much? And she goes four thousand and he goes, oh my god, four thousand, and she's like, oh, but that's really mostly from TikTok because on TikTok,
I have thirty one thousand. Oh my god, thirty one thousand, Holy cannolly, Oh my god, are you famous? Oh my god, that's so many followers. And then Jeremy talks about how his father meant so much to him and he passed away, and whenever he's in town, he tries to visit his father's grave, and then he asks her, would you like to visit him with me? And that was like, that pretty much confirmed that he's gonna choose her. In the living quarters, Jessica's crying to
a friend. Was it Mackenzie. She's always seen talking to Mackenzie, but I can't remember off the top of my head if it was Mackenzie. But anyway, she's crying and she's telling her friend that she's in love with Jimmy and she's so scared that he's not gonna pick her. She sees herself marrying this dude. And having his babys. Then they have their day in the
pods and she brings up social media. She basically tells him that she doesn't want him to follow any Insta thoughts or Insta hoos because it's been a problem for her in her previous relationships. And I'm the think, Oh, I feel like this is way too soon to start making demands of him because it's not like he did anything wrong. She didn't catch him in anything, So I feel like Jimmy's gonna receive it as Oh, she's already telling me what
to do. You know. She gets real specific too. She's like, well, if it just happens to pop up while you're scrolling randomly like and you'll look at it, then okay, I get it. But if you're going out of your way to follow, to like, to comment, and to check up on these Insta hoose half naked pictures, then that's gonna be an issue. Now. I agree one hundred percent, But would I bring it up on the like before I even meet? And well, I don't
know. I listen. Jessica is very forward. She knows what she wants, she knows what she doesn't want, and she's gonna let it be known, and so I can appreciate that about her. But I'm just thinking from the guy's perspective, like, I feel like they're gonna perceive that as she's already trying to control me and demand what they want. And Jimmy tells her, all right, that's really not a problem with me, and she's like, I'm gonna make it real clear. It's me and only me that you're
gonna be lusting after. You will say how it is, like, I appreciate that about you so much. That's why I'm drawing to you. I'm here to find a wife, and you actually you have me in a freaking choke hold with your words, Like the way you talk to me, you understand what I need and I give it to you. Okay. In my last recab, I totally was convinced that he was going to pick Jessica,
But now I don't know. I don't know. And on top of that, he probably has it in his head now that Chelsea looks like Megan Fox, So every time he's thinking about Chelsea, he has Megan Fox in his head. Now. A lot of people in the comments were saying, oh, I do see the resemblance between Chelsea and Megan Fox, or she does remind me of Megan Fox. That is not the point. I see what
you guys are seeing. There are certain angles where I'm like, oh, okay, I can see how Chelsea might look like Megan Fox a little here there, But that is not the point. The point is you just don't want to put that mental image in the guy's head when you haven't seen each other yet. It doesn't even matter that she was like, well, I don't think I look like her. No, it doesn't matter. He didn't
hear that. He only heard Megan Fox. And now every single time he's thinking about Chelsea, every single time he has a date with her, talks to her, thinks about her, he sees Megan Fox. Chelsea got really emotional on her date with Jimmy, like she started crying and then she told him he's everything she ever wanted in life. And this made me so sad because it pretty much confirmed that she's gonna pick Jimmy. But what about Trevor My wreck it, Ralph. What about Trevor? He's so a thorrible I
love Trevor. Then she has her date with Trevor and he's so excited he couldn't eat, he couldn't sleep because all he was doing was thinking about her all day and all night. And then she asks him, aren't you scared that you might see me and not like what you see? And then he tells her, even though you're not my usual type, this is what the experiment is about. And it doesn't even matter because I love you. You don't have fears that, like, if we see each other, you don't
like like me. You mean if you're not like my typical type. Yeah, well that's what the experiment is. No, I'm not scared of that because I love you. Yeah, I love you. I need to go on this show. Where do I sign up? Where do I sign up? Somebody get me the damn application. How do you feel that I said that? I feel. I wish you knew how I feel. That makes me. I don't even know. I can't even find the words. The way she responded to Trevor, it just absolutely confirmed that she is definitely not
choosing him. She's like, oh my god, I wish you could see my face. I feel like I'm gonna faint, Like I don't know what to say. I think I'm gonna pass out, and I think she knew in that moment that it wasn't him, because she cried, and they were not happy tears, they were sad tears because she was gonna have to break his heart. After her date with Trevor, she goes back into the living
quarters and she starts to sob. She breaks down. All the girls gather around her to try to console her, and then she's like, Yourevor told me that he loves me, like he's so sweet, but I also have feelings for Jimmy. And then Jessica hears this and she's like and she can't handle it, and she just walks away and she goes to the kitchen and she drinks her wine and just stares at the group of girls. She can't handle that Jimmy is debating between her and Chelsea. And that is the end
of the recap for episode three. What are your guys' thoughts? Oh my god. By the way, I know a lot of people think the Pods are really boring, but I love the Pods. I think there was one season where we just had one episode of the Pods and I was like, what the hell? That was way too fast? No, no, no, no, I need more because it's in the pods where people really get to know each other and develop their feelings, and I love that part.
So the fact that this is episode three and we're still getting more pods and episode four like that gets me excited. By the way, a lot of people commented that they've never watched Love Is Blind, but they saw this recap and then they went on their Netflix to binge the show, and I'm like, girlies, y'all were supposed to wait for me. I thought we were gonna watch episode by episode together. So I think I want to binge episodes four, five, and six tonight and maybe I'll do like a combined recap
episodes four to six. I don't know. We'll see what I have time for. But yeah, I hope you guys enjoyed this episode recab. Let me know all your thoughts in the comments, and I will talk to you guys in the next one. Bye.
