This podcast is part of the seventy Sixers podcast network search seventy Sixers Insiders wherever you get your podcasts. Alrighty, what's going on? Everybody? Welcome to another post win Sixers Twitter spaces. I'm Lauren Rosen. I'm here with Matt Murphy following the Sixers big undermanned victory against the Denver Nuggets
last night in Denver. Matt, we talk a lot about impressive wins for this team, but once again, I think we might have this team's most impressive victory yet, especially when you consider the fact that the group was still without Joel Embiid, without Matistable, without Danny Green. We had some unlikely heroes in last night's game. Matt, what did you think? I imagine, Lauren, You're running off pure adrenaline right now. Not a whole lot of time for you
to sleep going from Denver to Portland. But coming off a win is always a good thing. It was a very impressive win for the Sixers, who are now nine and seven on the season. Denver a very good team at home, a very good shooting team on most nights, but not last night. I'm getting right out of the gates here with just a quick stat. Obviously we'll answer some questions throughout as well, but Denver shot thirty six percent as a team. That's the lowest for them since
December of twenty fifteen. So the Sixers transition defense looked better. Obviously, not all of those shots were defended as best as they could be, but they played good defense, held Denver to eighty nine points in the one oh three eighty nine win, and it was a fun game. The energy seemed very high you were in the building, it seemed like the players on the bench obviously, when Charles Bassey comes out and starts putting up some numbers, the bench
was supporting him. But they were all supporting each other. Even Doc Rivers gave a fist pump when Bassi had the end one. Tyrese Maxie as much energy as he plays with on the court, I thought his bench reactions were might have been even better. It was a super fun game to watch and they needed it. They really needed it coming off a five game losing streak. Not easy to go into Denver against a very good Nuggets
team and win, and they did just that. Yeah, let's chat a little bit about mister rees Maxie last night twenty two points, five rebounds, four assists a block, playing like dare I say, an all Star caliber player, someone who has certainly talked himself into the most improved player conversation this year. Something I wanted to add about tyres And by the way, before I go on this little tangent, everybody has always please send us your questions. My dms
are open. We want to answer any questions that you have about the team's recent activity, the road ahead, all of the good things that are coming down the pike for the seventy six ers, any questions or comments you guys have about last night's game. I'm not seeing people dming me and I would like to see that, so please submit your questions when you get a chance. Anyway, Tyrese Maxie, something interesting about Tyrese Matt that he shared with me is that he loves basketball. He loves to play.
He's so happy anytime he's out there. So watching Tyrese watch his teammates propel them to a victory when he wasn't necessarily super needed towards the end, it just made me really happy to watch him watch a win. Because if he loves the game enough to still love it, when you're going through hard times as the team has over the last couple of games. It was really beautiful to see how much he loves this game when the team is winning and getting it done. Loved the way
he was celebrating. Charles. Bassie shared an interesting anecdote after the game about the fact that Charles and Tyrese played against each other in high school. There was a time when Charles was ranked higher than Tyrese was, and Tyrese took that personally cool to see the fact that now they're playing together, going toe to toe, and Tyrese has been able to sort of be a veteran in Charles's ear community, hitting really well with Charles at just the
age tyres rather at the age of twenty one. His growth, his maturity, his poise, and composure might be my biggest storyline this season. Thus format final stat line for Tyrese Maxie twenty two points, five rebounds, four assists, zero turnovers, and Laren. We did get some questions in our replies to the tweet from at sixers last night promoting this Twitter spaces, so there's a few there. We'll have plenty to get to. You can hit our dms. You mentioned
Tyrese Maxie. I mentioned his reactions from the bench in the first half when he was getting some rest and celebrating teammates like Bassie, but also in the fourth quarter when he was out there when I say he had some extra energy. The right handed lay lay in celebration where you hold the right arm up coming down court after a bucket late in the game. What did you see in person from him just celebrating his teammates. I just saw someone who loves his job, and it's someone
who loves my job. Sorry to be corny, it's really cool to watch other people have the same experience, and with Tyrese, he's just been so so impressive. I cannot say enough good things about Tyrese. Through tough times. He keeps his head up, he keeps his composure, he keeps now. I think the thing that was added to his game last night, which not not necessarily traditionally something you add to your game, but he added leadership, he added he added voice, he added advice, and it was cool to see.
Of course he's grown tremendously on the floor, but at just twenty one in his second year in the NBA, to see him become a more vocal leader for his teammates, not just for Charles, but for Tobias and for the guys that he's directing on the floor. I saw a little bit more of a floor general in Tyrese Maxie last night, and I think that that was a really exciting thing to see him add to his game as his confidence rightfully continues to grow. We didn't answer rise question,
did we. They replied to the tweet last night and said, what part of Tyrese Maxie's game has impressed you the most. We've talked a lot about Tyrese so far, but I think we can give specific answers here. There's really two directions to go in For me. I'm gonna go with the turnovers or the lack thereof that I already referenced zero last night. He's just a second year guard and his stats through sixteen games seventy assists, twenty one turnovers.
So I think the way he protects the basketball in these games and playing so many minutes and the fact that he turns the ball over so infrequently is what has impressed me the most so far. From Maxie. Yeah, Matt, you give a quantitative stat, So I'll go qualitative and I'll keep it short because I've already said this, but the composure, the poise, the headiness on such a young player to step into such a challenging situation and to do it with such grace and such command of the role.
No moment is too big for Tyrese Maxie. We saw it in the playoffs last year, and we've seen it all season long. I can't wait to see him reunited with Joel embat because the two of them were starting to build some really cool chemistry. And of course, with Joel out in health and safety protocols, the rest of the team has had to step up in his absence. But the chemistry that they were growing together, the respect that you see Joel growing for Tyrese has been so impressive.
And something that we've heard Doc Rivers and Tyrese's teammates talk a lot about is the amount of voices he's had all season long. Everybody has an opinion on what Tyrese should be doing, and they're all just trying to help him. They're trying to help him grow in a very challenging role. But it's got to make it more challenging to have so many voices all the time in your head, and Tyrese has done such a good job of in taking all the information and out putting some
really impressive play on the court. So to me, it's all about the things that don't show up in the box store box score, the poise, the composure, the way he's able to keep a cool head under pressure. I have been so impressed with the headiness on Tyrese Maxie.
The other thing that I was debating going back and forth between outside of the turnovers or not turning it over very much at all so far, was the confidence in the three point shooting, something I've talked a lot about, something a lot of others have mentioned from Tyrese Maxie.
He had a first quarter three off the bounce that prompted me just to look a little deeper into those numbers, and I'll quickly give these that on catching shoot threes going into last night, he was ten of twenty six, just under forty percent, but on pull up threes eleven of twenty four forty six percent. And he when he steps in with confidence, he didn't take a ton or as many as he's taken in recent games last night against Denver in that one o three eighty nine win
to snap the losing streak. He was two for three and he's been shooting it with confidence from beyond the arc. But obviously we were going to start with Tyrese Maxie, but it was a team effort. So if there's other questions about other players, we will certainly get to them. But Maxie has been so steady for this team. They really needed the win last night. He led the Sixers in who reached double figures in scoring with his twenty
two points on nine of fifteen shooting. Big shouts too, to George Niang, who stepped into the starting lineup for the first time this season. George and Tyrese the only two Sixers to appear in every game this season thus far, and of course that's no fault to the other guys that have missed out quite a bit, often due to health and safety protocols, often due to injuries. But those two have been really the steadfast parts of this rotation.
Not something that I think anybody anticipated on the outset of this season. But George Niang and his first start eleven points, four for eight from the field, three for six from deep, five rebounds, three assists and a block He's been playing really strong defense. Something I've noticed about George Matt is he doesn't take a single possession off. He plays so hard and the intensity on his face last night, it was all over his face and it
translated to his teammates. It translated across the floor. Tobias Harris had a similar killer look when they started last night to Biyas finished with seventeen points, seven rebounds, two assists, a steel and a block to Buyas shot eight for eighteen from the field and has looked really good since returning from health and safety protocols. So God to give shouts out to the two of them again for their on court work, but for the spirit that they add
to this team. I was really really impressed with the businessman mentality that these guys brought to a situation where they were a clear underdog and made it happen. I really appreciated the mindset that the group brought last night and the block Lauren, the block from George Niang on Monte Morris in the fourth quarter that was seemingly out of nowhere. Good hustle from George Niang. He sent it
off the court. He plays his tail off, and I think It's pretty clear why Sixers fans have developed such an affinity for George Niang so early on. He's so right for this team, he's so right for this city. Again, he doesn't take a possession off. He takes this stuff so seriously. He loves what he does, and he loves his teammates. He's an excellent communicator, and I think he is probably one of the most underrated offseason acquisitions in this league this year. Another question that we got. I
totally agree with you. There another question Seth asked last night, who is the greatest second round pick ever? And why is it? Charles Bassie I said, I said we needed to talk about Tyrese off the top, but many are referring to this win over the Nuggets as the Charles Bassi game as well, finishing in double figures career high. But that question, while obvious, it's not all serious. But Charles Bassi a second round pick, is another case of
the Sixers hitting on a late draft pick. And some of those other guys contributed last night, like a Shake Milton, who was a late second round pick, and it's something that the Sixers have done well over the years. Paul Reid and Isaiah Joe also second round picks. So more questions the better will get to some more here, but thanks to Seth for that one. Charles Bassie with an
impressive performance in the win over the Nuggets. Different guys stepping up because this team has been shorthanded at times. Bassi twelve points on five for seven shooting two of three at the line, seven rebounds, three blocks that kind of kept going up and down. Some they were calling blocks, some they would take off the box score. But a multitude of blocked and altered shots for Charles Bassi against the Nuggets, and some of them were against yokih which
is a tough matchup for Charles Vassy. But he has not looked in over his head at all in the minutes that he's had. He looks confident out there. He looks comfortable. Doc Rivers talks about his basketball IQ and how he knows all the coverage is already even telling some of the older players in the team where to be in certain situations against Utah on Tuesday. Impressive game.
He looks like he belongs, no doubt about it. I'd add that in his nineteen minutes he finished the game at a game high plus twenty did Charles Bassie, and we talked about this with tyrese poise composure on a young player. How about the poise and composure on Charles Bassie playing not his first meaningful minutes in the NBA, but his heaviest meaningful minutes thus far in his young NBA career against Yokich, against the reigning MVP, and showing
no signs of fear. I was really impressed with the poise, the cool headedness that we saw from tyreas Maxie, we also saw from the rookie Charles Bassi last night. A pleasure to see a guy get his welcome to the NBA game in such a good way, because we see it go the other way sometimes when guys are getting up to speed. But the learning curve has seemed dramatically short for Charles Bassie. I have a bunch of DM requests. I'm sorry that I did not see them until now.
Let's try to run through these quickly. If you have more, feel free to send them along. Let's see. Lillian says, this isn't a question, but Denver's really getting crushed by Philly teams. The Eagles in the seventy six ers made my week for sure. Just wish I knew someone in Colorado too. Boast too well. You can yell into the Sixers Twitter spaces void about how proud you are of
your Philly sports teams. I am proud as well. Really cool to actually talk to some fans last night that had come into town to watch the Eagles and then to watch the Sixers, and they certainly had a good couple of days. Any thoughts this is from Addison, Any thoughts on how this lineup shakes out once everyone is back and the lineup is as follows Maxie, Curry, Green, Harris and Bead And that of course was the star lineup to start this season, and you would imagine that
you'll see that lineup quite a bit more. Keep in mind that before the Sixers started dealing with health and safety protocols and with these injuries that they're dealing with currently, that lineup was doing great. That lineup got this team to first in the East for the most part eight and two, and of course in those eight and two games, the first ten games of the season, some of those guys were out, but that was the core group and
I've really enjoyed watching them. Matt any fond memories of that starting lineup, and what are you excited about seeing when they can all get back together. It's impressive. It was an impressive win for a lot of reasons, but one of them was because you're without some of your regulars, without some of your starters. But that's just become the norm due to health and safety protocols and some other
injuries here and there. A couple of those guys who did play were referenced by Michael Malone, the Denver coach who was ejected from the game last night. That was very strange. Chael Malone ran onto the court to talk about a play that wasn't called a foul. Drive and kick from Curry to Harris and Yokich kind of flailed back and there was no foul called, So like a baseball manager. A lot of people were saying Malone was trying to fire up the Nuggets against this Sixers team.
It did not work. The Sixers pretty much rode the rest of the way to victory. But he referenced a few of those names, the guys that are in right now. So I'm interested to see how the group meshes when they come back. But Michael Malone said after the game, whether it was Maxi or Seth Curry, whether it's Tobias Harris, they came in and beat our blank. So not mincing any words was Nuggets coach Michael Malone about Maxi, Curry, Harris and the way that those guys impacted the game,
plus role players like Bassie last night. But the Sixers doing it shorthanded for a while now and beating the Nuggets on the road was a big one. Yeah, no doubt. We knew this from the outset of this season, but it's become clear really quickly that depth is not one of the Sixers' biggest issues this year. They have a lot of guys that can produce productively. Everybody who was on the court last night made their presence known, earned
the minutes that they had. And that's without certainly three at least players that are going to play a large role for this team down the stretch. Let's continue with some more questions. This one comes from Matise with the clamps. With the energy and the productivity the three young guys Bassie, Reid and Joe, how do they get more consistent playing time. Well, we've kind of talked about this already, but the playing
time comes when opportunities open. And something that Charles, Paul Reid, and Isaiah Joe have actually all expressed already this season is that their mindset centers around staying ready for any opportunity because you never know when those opportunities are going to come. That's something that Tyrese Maxie can preach to
the three them from experience. Crazy to think, Matt that Tyree's just a year ago, was drafted into the NBA just a few months ago, was fighting into the rotation during the playoffs, and now he's become this starting point man who's successfully running a very good team. So the guys that are mentioned in this question, Charles, Paul, and Isaiah, if they follow that Tyree's Maxi model, they could be
in pretty good shape. The anniversary of the draft that obviously took place at a non traditional time in a non traditional window, with Maxi, Isaiah Joe, and Paul Reid being selected the anniversary yesterday, that was pretty cool. And there's actually there's a really good article about that anniversary a year later. It's from Genamzelle with the Philadelphia Inquirer highly suggest reading it at some point it's about it's actually a sit down with the three of them, and
it's a roundtable. Their answers are transcribed and it's a super fun read. And stay ready so you don't have to get ready, as kind of an MBA cliche amongst when you hear it from players sometimes, but I truly think they believed that all last year and what was an unusual rookie season without Summer League and without a lot of the pillars of a normal season, not even
eighty two games. So I would check that out. I would hear what they said about their experience and how you can see it kind of developing with guys like
Charles Bassi. When you see Maxie and Isaiah Joe getting off their feet on the bench celebrating his and one celebrating his first half effort and energy and performance, it made me think of their rookie season and how you don't know when the minutes are going to come necessarily based on who's in and out of the lineup, but they are all in the gym so so much honing their craft so that if it's a minute or two here, a minute or two there, an extended run of ten
twelve minutes in this half, here or there, they are ready to go. And that's what I was That's what I was seeing out of Charles Bassi last night, that same attitude that Maxie, Joe and Reid had as rookies and still have now as sophomores. It's a deep Sixers team. It's a very deep Sixers team. This one's from Wanona Price. She says, it's not a question, but it fits in really well with what we're talking about. She says, I think our team is learning what it means to step up.
And I think that that's absolutely true. Keep in mind that during this losing streak, the Sixers were really in the vast majority of those games and had a chance to win those games despite being so severely shorthanded and undermanned throughout. This is a team that's learning how to fight really early in the year. And I hope and think that we'll look back come end of season, come playoff time, and remember this stretch of games as a time when the team learned, like Wanona said, how to
step up. This one comes from Alex Are you more impressed by the Sixers offensive or defensive performances without the presence of without the presence of embiden Thible. So when you talk about Ebiden Thible as a unit together, I think you have to be more impressed by what the Sixers have been able to do defensively because those are the two best defenders that this team is going to have.
So I think when you look at those two being gone, despite the fact that the defense has undoubtedly struggled without them, the fact that they've even managed to hold teams down somewhat is impressive. When you have all League defenders on your team and they're not available, that missing piece is
really felt. So the fact that the other guys a. George Nianga, Tobias Harris, Attires, Maxie Seth Curry have learned to produce more defensively than they maybe have previously in embiden Thible's absence, I think, like we've already talked about, is going to pay off down the road. Matt, what do you think? I agree? These are important matchups that these guys are getting without some all League defenders, and
there's no way around that. The fact that you don't have them, but you might be matched up with a player that you wouldn't normally be matched up with. So all of this is important come playoff time come later in the season if you have to take on a bigger assignment. Good team, defense, good energy. Denver was known as a better defensive team coming in than offensive team, but still going into their building holding them to eighty
nine points. A veteran defensive coordinator, so to speak for the Sixers in dan Burke, I know Doc Rivers relies on his assistant coaches a lot. It's it's a team effort on the bench as well, and just playing their coverages, knowing knowing their coverages. Lost Matt there for a second playing good. Are you there, Matt, I'm back. I was getting a phone call. It's the first time I've gotten a spam call during a Twitter spaces. I didn't know that it takes a microphone off. All bets are off
during the Twitter spaces we live in. We later spaces basically stays on no matter what you're doing on your phone, So stay with us. You can kind of do other things. Yeah, new here. Things do tend to get wild at about the thirty minute marks. So that was on Brandy. Sorry you were saying, yeah, no, I'm here. That was about all I had to say. I didn't think it would take my microphone off, given that you can do so many other things while on Twitter spaces. But yeah, that
was a quick call that I quickly declined. It wasn't anyone important. It was ninety five percent sure that it was spam, although it didn't say spam likely. But we're back, and I just wanted to say, yeah, like the defense to go in and hold them to eighty nine. It's a team effort, but in a perfect world you'd have your multiple All league defenders helping the cause. Yeah, now, no doubt about it. And of course the question was are you more impressed with the defense or the offense?
And I think my answer might did not answer the question. My answer might have to actually be the offense because that's what's been carrying the team, but they've had to failly in more defensively because of the absence of those two. I really like this question, Matt from ad Sam Hawk. Am I crazy to see a little bit of Jojo in Sea Bass's game? I don't think that's crazy at all. Matt. I know you remember this, but on media Day, Charles talked a lot about the influence that Joel has been
even from Afar, even before they were. They were teammates, two guys coming from unconventional NBA backgrounds, fighting their way into the league and then producing on a really high level as big men now getting to unite, and Charles gets to watch Joel up close. It's something he was really excited about. It's something he's said he's done from a far four years. So I do not think you are crazy at all to see a little bit of Jojo in Charles Bass's game. Matt, what do you think
Charles Bassie's game? I mixed Charles Bassie and Sea Bass there. Sea Bass, by the way, an excellent nickname. I have a few things to touch on, one of which is the nickname. Did he have that before Philadelphia? Do we know? I think that Sea Bass is a nickname that may have existed prior to Philadelphia, but now has become the only thing that any of his teammates are willing to call him. They don't know Charles, they only know Sea Bass. Well.
He has leaned into it. I saw he reposted a couple Instagram story in which people said he was a big fish last night, and some of his teammates, I know George Niang was one that put on his story Sea Bass. He wrote Sea Bass, so it seems that's the case even if he was called that in college or before that. But I love it. I definitely love the nickname. I did not answer the more impressive offense or more impressed with the offense or defense was that in regard to last night or the season so far
in the absence of Cybele and embid. So I'm going to go with the defense then, because the offense sort of some shooting ruts during the losing streak and to cap it off last night, I think it was a good effort on both sides of the floor. But to hold Denver to thirty six percent overall is going to skew my answer there. And then similarities the question about Bassie, Sea Bass and Joel embiid. One thing I wanted to
add about Charles BASSI. He's talked a lot in the preseason about wanting to prove that he can shoot the three ball, But based on what we've seen so far, it's been a lot of screening rolls, and I think his hands have been what stood out to me so far the most, the ability in the lane to catch the basketball and kind of just his IQ has also stood out, but really good hands for Charles Bassi. He hasn't really taken that many jumpers yet, just a few
so far. I have another question that I wanted to address. It was a beautiful Oh shoot, sorry switched from my message page. Sorry, please hold everybody, I'm the worst I know. Okay, sorry from Dylan Harrison. In your opinion, who was the most impressive player last night? Not to knock anyone, because that was a beautiful team win, but who was the most impressive last night? I think I've kind of already answered it, Matt, I want to know what your take is.
Charles Bassie of course, had a breakout for months last night, So no disrespect to Charles Bassie, but I've got to give this one to Tyrese Maxie because of the growth that he's shown, because of the composure that he's shown, because of the fight that he showed wanting to get this team out of that losing streak, out of that little red and I really do feel that he has become a leader on this court, not just someone that's
learning and getting up to speed anymore. Last night felt like a little bit of a turning point in terms of Tyree's really taking charge for this team. So he gets my MVP of last night. But again, like Dylan said, not to disparage anybody else, Matt, what do you think. It's a great question, and it's fun when they're coming off a win and double digit players not double digit, more than five players score double figures, and there's so many players to pick from. Niang had eleven, Tobias Harris
had seventeen. Off the bench, Shake Milton on an efficient five of eight, had twelve points, Bassie's twelve. We've talked about Seth Curry had twenty and six rebounds and five assists. Because we've already talked about Bassie, I'll talk to talk about how I was impressed with Seth Curry's twenty points two for eight from three, uncharacteristic from what Sixers fans
are used to, and with Seth Curry's percentages. But he's shooting himself out of a little bit of a slump, and the team was slumping and Seth wasn't shooting it as well as we've seen or saw early in the season. I'll go with Seth Curry on the road to kind of getting back to that insane start to the season. The combination of Seth, Tyrese and Shake getting downhill in
this game and creating options for the sixers. The ball was really moving and the shots were falling, and I think they will continue to fall for Seth Curry going forward. That's not a bold take, but two for eight last night, that's going to keep climbing. The percentage is going to keep climbing back to the insane numbers that he started with to finish with twenty point six rebounds, five assists in thirty eight minutes, which was the most for any sixer and the most for any player in the game.
I was impressed with Seth's performance. Yeah, Worth noting that Seth was two for eight from deep last night, which is a departure from what he has been able to do for most of this season, but cool to see him end up shooting eight for seventeen overall getting to that twenty point mark. Really good scores find a way to make it work from anywhere that if your traditional
shots aren't falling, you get creative. It's something that we see out of Seth's brother quite a bit, and there were a couple moments last night where Seth was looking a little Steph like and it was cool to see him find the way, find a way no matter what, to get his buckets, to score in a big way, in a meaningful way. To agreed, Seth deserves a lot of props for what he was able to do last night. What other questions do we have? I have a statement,
Maxie is a fireball. It's not my own statement, although it could be I suppose, but someone said Wanona said, Maxie is a fireball to me, and I love that. That's awesome. That's a tape that I can get behind. Tyree said, great energy, fantastic energy in the game, still shooting the ball with confidence, looking like a veteran, not turning the ball over at all, literally zero times in Denver against one of the top teams in the league. So yeah, Tyrese, Maxie is a fireball. Thanks, No doubt,
no doubt. Okay, guys, as we start to wrap up, if you guys have any final questions about the Sixers big win over Denver last night one oh three to eighty nine. There was I was going to say there was never any doubt. The credit to the Nuggets. They did fight back, particularly in that second half, put some pressure on the Sixers. But the Sixers really did hold it down from wire to wire in this one. A
really strong win, a really strong team win. In the words of Doc Rivers, I was extremely impressed by what this team was able to do on the road at altitude without their best player. Really really impressive stuff. Any final question sentiment now, if not, we love doing these after every Sixers win, and we will hope to be back with you on Sunday. Matt Murphy, how you feeling about the rest of this road trip? Denver was playing really well at home, as is the Sixers next opponent,
the Portland Trailblazers. They've won seven in a row at home, so it's going to be another difficult matchup as the Sixers make their way through the Northwest Division. They played Utah and Denver and now Portland, so it's basically like you're reading down the standings in that division. Obviously we look more at conferences, but the Blazers are eight and eight,
but they've won their last seven games at home. They lost the season opener, which was a home game, and they haven't lost at home since, so the end of October it's going to be a tough matchup. They're starting to click, and the Sixers already beat them in Philadelphia, so the Blazers are gonna look to keep that streak going. Obviously, an explosive lineup with Lillard, McCollum, Norman Powell was big
and a comeback win against the Bulls. So all those guys are They're all six two six, three players that have been in the league for seven, nine and ten years from Powell, McCollum, and Lillard, respectively, So there's the trio and then Covington and Nurkics round out their starting lineup. So if you're coming off that Nuggets game, you've got to have a little more confidence if you're the Sixers that you can go into Portland and win. But it's not going to be easy by any means. Yep, there
are no gimmes on this trip. Even after that Portland matchup, the team will head south visit the Sacramento Kings, who are underratedly playing some pretty good basketball the last ten games. However, they are three and seven. They're six and nine over all, but with some star power and with a tough arena to play in. Then the team visits the first overall Golden State Warriors who are off to a tremendous thirteen and to start this season. My last few comments that
I wanted to look at were about Tyrese Maxie. You mentioned the fireball comment. I have some comments about his spirit, about the smile on Tyrese Maxie. So we do homework sometimes on Twitter spaces. If you're new here, your homework when we wrap up in just a few minutes is to head to the Sixers Twitter page. Alex Suber's art photographer, who I think I saw in this space at one point he might still be here, took some tremendous photos of Tyres walking off the court, capturing that joy that
you guys are talking about, bottling the energy. If you need a quick hit of what is it? Saratonin, dopamine? I get them confused, but a quick hit of something happy. Check out those photos on the Sixers page. They're awesome. Shout out to Alex Matt. We're not just saying that. We're not just saying that because Alex is listening right now. They are fantastic and it captures Maxie perfectly. Yeah, really really good stuff. So that's your homework. Head over to
the Sixers page. As always, between this win and the next, please continue sending us your questions. We had some really good ones today. Matt and I love doing these. We love hearing what you guys have to say. We love feeling the excitement that you have that we have following wins. Again, like I said, we'll hope to be back with you guys on Sunday. Matt Murphy, always a pleasure, Lauren. It's nine fifty six in Portland, so you're you're getting close
to the tunamout window on the early side. Yep, it's okay if you're new here. It's never too early for a tunamout.
