This is seventy Sixers rewind time now to listen back to postgame reaction from the team's most recent game topping in this back here at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Sixers a winner tonight, the final one, twenty one one oh five over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Sixers jumped out to a huge nineteen point lead at one point. They led by twenty four in the first half, but

the Lakers used a fifteen oh run. It was forty eight twenty four, fifteen consecutive points by the Lakers, and their bench did a large amount of the scoring and shifting of the momentum, including Villanova standout Josh Hart in his second year here with the Lakers. And then they made it forty eight thirty nine and the Sixers ended up leading at the half by eleven sixty four fifty three.

I'll tell you what. Let's get to the highlights. As the Sixers jumped out to an early lead, Ben Simmons was flying around the gym here at Staples Sixers led sixteen to four. Is Ben with a dunk on this play round Runda with the late Rundel Black Band, Bead and Wilson Chandler had to Ben and now Ben Simmons a left hand throw down. The Sixers defense propels another runout and Ben Simmons already with eight points in the game, so the Sixers led sixteen to four. He was really

good in the opening quarter with eleven points. So was Jimmy Butler. He had nine in the first frame. Butler, all told when seven of nine, finished with twenty points, six assists, five rebounds, and five steals. He averages two per game. He's among the top guys in the league and steals. Here's Jimmy Butler on offense with an allayoop dunk. Sixers in blue, crossing mid court with t J McConnell ops it to Jimmy and Butler with an allayoop jamp TJ McConnell fifth mid court and Jimmy Butler with a

throw down. T J McConnell had five assists in the first quarter. The Sixers got some timely three point shooting by Wilson Chandler in the first and led to fifty all full. Fifteen made threes by the Sixers in the game. Chandler finished with nine. Mike Muscato had some big threes as well, he too made three threes in the game. La made that run as I mentioned, but the Sixers still led at the half sixty four to fifty three.

We go to the third quarter as the seventy Sixers, with Joelle and Bed getting the basket to put the Sixers up by fifteen. Here's Joel and b for three, and it's good Joejoe knocks down his second three. He's got twenty three wide open off the sideline on the pounds and bad steps right to nine and knocks it in and Bee would end up with twenty eight points, eleven rebounds, six assists a block. He had a scary play in the second half. He was on the receiving

end of an alley played by Ben Simmons. He missed the alley oop dunk and then landed awkwardly as his knees kind of buckled underneath them. Of course, he's been playing with lower back tightness and it appeared to flare up on him. Sixers called time out. He went into the back by the Sixers locker room here at Staples Center, got stretched out, and then the Lakers scrunched to lead

back to nine. So he had actually come back in the game had a short stint there, but the Sixers were able to put the La Lakers away, in part with Mike Muscotta getting back into the act in the second half. Now Butler with it, JJ curls catches top of the arc, fakes at three, now passes down to Mike and Muscotto with a jam. What to play miny JJ Reddick. They ran out at him. He jumped and while in midair this is not advisable, but he finds Muscotta down low and Muscotta now with ten. JJ Reddick

had two assists. Muscotta finished with seventeen points seven rebounds in twenty four minutes, and then Reddick was able to seal the deal late for the Sixers. JJ Reddick and double figures once again for Philadelphia, and he has reached double figures now dating back to last March in fifty eight consecutive games, and this basket was able to put the game out of reach. JJ Reddick too bed five to shoot Joel back to JJ dribbling shooting three fun

in the air. It's gone and the Sixers will shoot dominators. J. J Reddick with his fourth tray h B with the assist and the Sixers lead by thirteen with a minute forty nine to go, and I added D for dagger and that was the margin as the Sixers end up winning one twenty one to one oh five. So now they're one and one on this road trip and they'll head the Oakland to take on the Warriors. Golden State

is one eleven consecutive games. Great matchup will be on the air at ten thirty from Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Put the Sixers with a nice victory here over the Lakers, one twenty one to one oh five. The final score. The Sixers now fifteen games over five hundred with the victory as they defeat the Lakers with that final once again one twee five thirty three and eighteen overall. That'll do it from Staples Center, the Sixers with the victory.

We'll talk to you from Oakland, California on Thursday night. So long, everybody you've been listening to seventy Sixers rewind, be sure not to miss new episodes the day after each game this season, all year long.
