Letty seventy five The Fanatic Anyway. Anyhow, the Philadelphia seventy Sixers were looking to get back into the win column on the road away from South Philadelphia, where they've been so good this season. Tonight it was a grind opening up a three game road trip against Atlantic Division opponents, starting with the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

I'm Brian Seltzer. Let us recap now tonight's game with the highlights of the one and only Tom McGinnis Sixers looking to build off a nice victory against these Chicago Bulls at home last night. Fur Concorkmas was one of the Rose against Chicago and he was off to a hot start again. The seven Bobby Portis against Mike Scott na Tuiaan Richardson picks it up. Richards said, Zigzaggie with a dribble out the cork bos for three. He trails,

he shoots it's gun again. Cork Moss has brought us act a New York City baby, poor bas with another three sixers by three twenty six twenty three was the score part of an eight nothing run that cork Mos strung together with his back to back three pointers. Seventy sixers after one quarter of playla the next twenty eight

to twenty five. In the second quarter of the Sixers went up by as much as ten, but the Knicks battled back, and that really set in motion the back and forth battle that we saw for the rest of the nights. He was Benn Simmons nudging these seventy sixers into the lead, and now New York turns it over fed with his deal. Simmons on a drive, Simmons to Josh back to Bets. Oh Man, what a slam by Simmons and Tomahawk jam and the crowd here in New York is buzzing. A lot of Sixers fans and Simmons excite,

so get excited. Forty seven forty five Sixers were ahead, and they were up by the tally of fifty two to forty six at intermission. More good things from fur con quorkmis in the third, ben in a drive, Ben in the day, kickout, fur con free ball up god in a foul park bas is doing it again tonight in New York Today, and a foul on the next sevens of the kickout, corkbos with his third three. He's got eleven and he goes to the line for the rare four point play man a successful four point play.

It was, you know, Brett Brown said after the game last night he felt like the Sixers were able to borrow from the JJ Reddick playbook, based in the way that corkms was shooting the ball from outside the arcwall. That was like vintage JJ Reddick, a followay three pointer of the contact and the basket great stuff from fur

con Quorkmise. Seventy six Ers lead was just one. However, after three quarters seventy to sixty nine into the fourth, Josh Richardson, keeping the seventy Sixers in control, New York steals the ball Robinson and made the three and New York in the name, but they thrown away Mike Scott with it had a runout Scott dono a Richardson and richards and with a slam no. So the two teams exchange turnovers, but Scott feeds Josh and Jay rich scores it.

I mean it's seventy two seventy seventy sixers, the Knicks not going the way. Al Horford really was struggling from the field tonight. But this was a clutch shot. Then Simmons out top. Simmons fakes it back to Al. He's open, he shoots, he makes it. Al Horford puts it in. He had been one of eight, and he makes the field goal. It's a three point game of two minutes.

Two minutes eighty six eighty three to seventy Sixers were in front Butts the New York Knicks would rattle off the next four points, the last two on a twelve foot basket from the elbow, knocked down by Marcus Morris the thirty one and a half seconds to go, So the Knicks let at eighty seven eighty six, the seventy sixers called time out, and this is how things went from the Here's the bias for three with God Hop

and God top bias. Harris, you about trepo had a Sixers go from down one to up two eighty nine eighty seven of the crowd is buzzy, stunded like it might as well have been at the center. Sixers up eighty nine eighty seven, thirty point nine seconds to go. The Knicks were then not able to execute on their ensuing possession, as it was Harris and Ben Simmons locking up Julius Randall against the sideline. He turned the ball over.

Sixers got the ball back for concorkmaz went one for two from the free throw line to make the final differential ninety to eighty seven, morrismissing a forty foot heave at the buzzer, and the seventy Sixers survived. They shot forty three and a half percent from the field overall. The Knicks had ten more shots, but the Sixers kept them under forty percent for the game. Seventy Sixers with ten three pointers to New York six. The Sixers were

outrebounded by the Knicks. That was an area that helped the Knicks stay within striking distance for the better portion of tonight's game. Knickt out rebound in the seventy six Ers by seven. They were also plus seven on the offensive glass, fourteen turnovers for either side. Ben Simmons lit all scores with twenty one. He was nine to fifteen from the field, also at seven rebounds and eight assists.

Eighteen points for Josh Richardson. He had seven of the seventy six ers first nine to the fourth quarter, seventeen for fir Concorkms off the bench, fifteen for Tobias Harris with eight rebounds and three assists. For the next they were led by Marcus Morris Senior. He ended the night with twenty. Julius Randall had fourteen points and twelve rebounds for a double double. Seventy six Ers now won three straight. They end their six game losing streak on the road.

They're twenty eight and sixteen on the year, while the nixt drop to eleven and thirty two. Up next for the seventy six Ers the Brooklyn Nets, which they beat in a matchup at the Center on Wednesday, one seventeen to one oh six. Tonight, the Brooklyn Nets were knocked out by the Milwaukee Bucks one seventeen to ninety seven. The games at three o'clock on Monday, will hit the

air just before then on Martin Luther King. A great tradition in the NBA that the seventy Sixers have been a part of playing on Doctor King's birthday for over twenty years now. One final time of the final score, it was the seventy Sixers ninety the New York Knicks eighty seven. You've been listening to rewind.
