You're listening to rewind, they'll listen back on press conferences. Highlights and analysis from the seventy sixers previous game. Welcome back once again, Tom McGinnis here at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Final score the Clippers one thirty six to seventy Sixers one thirty. The Sixers made it interesting
late but dominated early in the game. We're gonna go right to our highlights as the Sixers led by Shake Milton leading the Clippers early in this game, and again the trio of Tobias Harris, Josh Richardson who would later leave with an injury, and Harris all perfect from the field for for four for Milton, three for three for Josh Harris with three for three. The Sixers jumped out to an eleven point lead to twenty two to eleven and at ten out of twelve shooting start from the field.
One of those plays a deflection as Steele and Milton on the runout. Let's listen Kawhi Leonard. He goes way out, Tom and now Zubot's first pivotis Shake tipton head. Milton steals it. I've Beverley La left that jap Shake built Duff theball time out Clippers. He means business here in La He's got eight. So the Sixers led by five after one thirty nine thirty four. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard started to get going a little bit in the
second quarter. Paul George gets free, gets a basket and a foul, and and one situation for La George near midcourt. Now with enough ten dribble, spins it around Harold in the Valain goes in on Horford and a lamp is good extension there by Paul George weaving from the top,
methodically getting into the lane. And a foul on Orford that now is the third foul the last three and a half minutes on al Orford in thirteen points four Paul George in the first half he made two threes at a free throw there for the three point play. But shake Milton again with a streak of consecutive made three pointers, including this field goal right here, Sixers with a tied at sixty three. Alec Burk's to shake shot here, It's gonna get sha built in incredible performance in Los Angeles.
He's got twenty six points in the first half. Another threes four for four. He'sh twelve straight threes among that three games. So thirty three points in the second quarter for the Sixers, but La had thirty six and they
pulled within two at halftime. It was the Sixers seventy two and the Clippers seventy and now the seventy Sixers opened the third quarter and the Clippers, following those thirty six points in the second, had thirty eight in the third, eleven points for Kawhi Leonard, and the Sixers started to fall behind it. At one point it was a sixteen to two run by the Clippers. The Sixers led eighty seven to eighty, but then the Clippers got ahold of it.
One of those great plays for the Sixers Matisse Stible, who ended up playing more minutes tonight due to the fact that Richardson was hurt. He played fifteen minutes. He had seven points and this deal leading to the Horford basket. Five got a head out of hernover bike, Scott picks it off. Good job by five Alon Leonard shake with the bull down low right, Horford break eat three and
a two head jab. He curls, catches and slam and the Sixers eighty seven and the Clippers eighty al Harford has come alive and then that run as I mentioned earlier with La and they took control of the game. They scored sixteen to the game's next eighteen points. They would not be denied after three. They had already scored one hundred and eight points after thirty six minutes, and they led one of eight ninety six into the fourth
quarter of play. Off their bench, Lou Williams and Montres Harrold, two of the best reserve players in the league, and they connect on this play with Lou Williams feeding Harold all the way down the court. Hartford spins almost lost it his double team baseline right, shoves it, throws it, and he throws it away. Here's Harrow on a runout bond tras Harrow with a Saaring slammed off timeout Sexers.
So that combination right there. They made combine fifteen field goals out of twenty four tries, and they had forty eight points. How about that. Their benches number one in the league, as I mentioned, over fifty one points per game, and tonight they were clearly superior. They also got thirteen from Reggie Jackson. He's going to be a great addition. Shammont and Jamichael Green combined for eight. The Sixers not bad tonight. Alec Burke's had fifteen, Mike Scott eleven eight
for Cork. Mos Matisse had seven and two from Kyle O'Quinn. But later the Sixers trying to pull things close, and Tobias Harris, who had another good scoring game with twenty five after the thirty four he had Thursday against New York. And on this play he breaks free and gets open domin lay and now Shake picks up his trouble. He can't get it to anybody, stop me looking, He's got to get it off. He finally does the Scott meanwhile eleven to shoot Defiance with it driving down the lay.
He jammed it. Oh yeah, Harris puss it in the Harris in a gunk and again in the midst of that to try the comeback try for the Sixers. Shake Milton with another huge shot on this one over Marcus Morris. Alec Kirks with the ball one twenty three one sixty Milton from Quabe on the arc for three. That's God. Shake Milton puts it a triple right over Morris, or should I say fright Gay's face, so thirty nine for shake,
a career high, and just under forty minutes. He made fourteen of twenty from the field, seven of nine from outside the arc, four free throws, five assus, three rebounds, only two turnovers and one steal. But as they say, it wasn't enough, as the Clippers led by Kawhi Leonard with thirty, Paul George with twenty four, and they mentioned Harold and Williams each with twenty four, so they had four players with twenty four or more and the Clippers
split the season series with the Sixers. They've won their fourth game in a row. They're forty one and nineteen, and they've now taken over second in the West. They've beaten the Lakers twice and are gonna play again that reset. Scheduled game is March eighth. That's actually going to be the night of the NCUBA Championship game as well. John Morant with twenty seven and fourteen and Jonah's Valetunas twenty points, twenty two points and twenty rebounds for them. And again they're playing tonight. It's Lebron against Zion Williamson. Sacrament will be part of this trip for the Sixers. They're play hosted Detroit. They're down fourteen in the opening

scoring game ninety three Charlotte eighty five. Jannis had forty one points, twenty rebounds, and six assists in that game. So that'll do it. Here from Staples Center, where the crowd of over nineteen thousand has dissipated the Sixers with a great start up by five thirty nine points in the opening quarter of the most points they've had in any quarter on the road all year long. Could not hold on, and they lose on the road for the
eighth consecutive time. They're now overall thirty seven and twenty four and nine and twenty two on the road.
